Arenal Springs Resort was pure joy! The room and grounds were beautiful, and the food delicious. The sushi at the swim up bar was so good we had it twice. I have to mention Daniel at the front desk. I had left my backpack at our previous hotel, and Daniel would not give up until it was recovered. His kind heart kept him on the phone until the pack was retrieved. I can't thank him enough. We practiced yoga at the resort in the early morning in a most beautiful setting. The teacher was lovely... Read more

If you ever just wanted to sit back and let someone else take care of everything, then you must visit this resort. The staff are super friendly and they will arrange everything you ask for. I have never felt so pampered in all of my entire life. And the price is a lot less expensive than comparable resorts right down the road. The views of Arenal volcano are magnificent and the hot springs are amazingly rejuvenating, especially after a long day of hiking the rainforest. I did not partake of a... Read more

Good location with view on the volcano. Very nice hotel, not too big with spacious and beautiful rooms. Our room had king size beds and terrace with view on the volcano. Staff was super friendly. Food in the restaurant was good but pricy. we loved the hot spring pools! Gym is a bit small but I guess when you travel in summer season you don't spend time in the gym. Only 1 thing should be on your to do list when you are in Fortuna. Do the hike at the Arenal volcano and do the Cerro Chato hike. B... Read more

What a sight to wake up to when you step onto your patio area, the volcano straight in front of you. This was part of the Thomson's Grand Tour of Costa Rica, we had 2 nights here, only breakfast was included in the package, so take care, meals were quite pricey, all prices on menu were in U.S. Dollars. The special one evening was fajitas, so we had that, $65.00 for two, not including any drinks, food was ok, plenty of it, but did lack taste, no spices or chilli. From here we did the hanging brid... There isn't enough good things that I can say about this place. I got married here 5 years ago and I promise that I will be back. Rooms are very clean and there's always some origami towels on the bed each morning. Property has fruit literally growing everywhere. There's an amazing continental breakfast every morning. The concierge will set up anything for you if you'd like to do some sightseeing. One of the gentlemen that worked there actually offered to bring us to his families house for... Read more

Driving into town we were unsure of what to expect. We got in late at night and couldn't see any of the surroundings. When we woke up the next morning we were stunned. The views are breathtaking. The grounds are well maintained. We chose this place because of the hot springs on property and we have taken full advantage of them. It's been a fantastic place to stay and when we come back we will definitely stay here again.

Three night stay in this fabulous hotel. The lodge was very spacious and clean, free WiFi, T.V., safe, coffee machine, refrigerator and the en-suite bathroom had a nice water feature wall in the shower area. The lodge had a great view of the Arenal Volcano and a nice seating area outside overlooking the well kept gardens that were great for bird watching. The restaurant was large and well run by very friendly staff, good choice of food which was always very tasty and well presented, a bit on the...
