The towels for the pool should be taken and changed in the pool area, not in the lobby. Hair dryers do not have life-saving protective switch. The air conditioning makes a lot of noise. Should have enabled the snack service until the club closes. Apart from the above, I enjoyed the rest.

This hotel is a place to stay, not a destination. We did not find obviously better options when walking up and down the beach during our short visit. That is one thing this hotel has going for it, great beach location. The pool is also nice. The food is good. Otherwise, it was not the all inclusive that we've come to appreciate. There is no beach service or even poolside service. The room had some functional issues but was clean and comfortable. It was really too loud for way too long on o... Read more

I came to sty 1 week in September and ended up staying for a month because the food is delicious and the staff is amazing .karen Jimenez manager of the bwjb and her secretaries , are super polite, , the bell boys are very fat and go the extra mile to give anyone any information or guidencence .Jeffrey villareal, Jossi silva and Maria del mar Rocha, from entertainment are full of energy and well educated. The food server make you feel like you re in a 4 Season resort. The lifeguards and... Read more

It's just that a Best Western. Don't be fooled by the 'all inclusive' deal. It's expensive for what you get. The party music on Saturday's is just too much and too late. It's supposed to be a family hotel but they don't seem to care. The rooms smell like mold, yet the staff does their best to keep you happy. The only reason I'd be back is for the food and the fact that our son never left the pool the entire time.

The hotel is okay. not terrible and not great. The biggest issue is that the open concept lobby is near the rooms, so it is very loud, especially at night. Didn't sleep soundly at all due to noise at 1am from teenager, the games room area and giant tv.. Also front staff didn't help to quiet things down. I understand partying, but either this is a family friendly hotel or it's for party goers. The two can't go together. The showers are built for tiny people. Had to contort my body to wash my hair... The property was very clean and the staff was professional and friendly. My one complaint is that the internet was inconsistent. We would have extended our stay it it would have been better. Very good location to get to other actives.

This was part of a dream vacation for a friend and I. We found the deal from Gate1 travel. This hotel was included in the deal and we couldn't have been happier. We arrived to a smooth, quick check in and overview of the property. The room was a basic room - nothing exciting. We spent some time at the beach bar - amazing! A lot to be said for all inclusive!!! From the bar we saw another part of the hotel where the rooms had balconies - and since we are balcony people I went to ask if we ... Read more

I live in Costa Rica and have stayed at different all inclusive hotels over the years. I found this one to have a wonderful buffet for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Very good waffles. The selection of vegetables was great and well prepared. Salad bar was always fresh. Restaurant and buffet were very clean and plenty of staff. We arrived at 7pm and had no problem with checking in. Our room was on the ground floor, definitely no frills but it has the basics for a comfortable stay.

The drive to jaco is long, but definitely worth it. This hotel is situated on some prime beach front property. Staff are very professional and friendly and bilingual(Spanish and English). Breakfast, lunch and dinner was excellent. Something new and different almost daily and buffet style. Plenty of activities for you to choose from. Pool table, ping pong table, pool fitness sessions, decent conference facilities and the grounds were always clean.. don't be surprised if you see a few iguanas on th... Read more

This is a great all-inclusive right on the beach. It was appropriate for what we needed, as we wanted to just relax for the week and not worry about food or drinks if we didn't want to. The bartenders are phenomenal characters who made everything fun. The bar always had something at night, even though it is the down season. We only used the pool once, because the ocean was spectacular. You could walk out forever without being more than waist-deep, but you could still surf. The water and po... Read more
