We came for three nights for our honeymoon and it was far and away the nicest hotel/resort I've ever stayed at, and our experience will be a cherished memory forever. The service was incredible -- everything from a complementary welcome cocktail + sushi, a bottle of champagne greeting us, offering of ice water, sunscreen and magazines at the pool, cleaning service that was really over the top (I don't know how they knew when we were gone to sprinkle fresh rose petals on the bed!). Nayara is the best hotel at which I have stayed in the world. The location, rooms and gardens are gorgeous and the service is unbelievable! I forgot a medication in the US and the lady at the concierge desk called pharmacies in La Fortuna....within four hours the med was in my room! My sandals fell apart and needed gluing...again I went to the concierge desk and a gentleman took my sandals and by afternoon they were back in my room repaired!!! This is by far the best hotel I have ever stayed in. My boyfriend and I visited the Arenal area in June and found out about Nayara through American Express. We stayed in a couples "casita" room and upon arrival were greeted with drinks and a sloth sighting. The room was incredible with nice lighting and a volcano view. Beautiful property with some local character that makes it more interesting than your generic lux traits. Impeccable service. Actually, the most worthwhile feature is how pristine and clean the entire property is given the amount of bugs, plants, wildlife that generally engulf the area. Itâ??s actually kind of just amazing how much attention is paid to cleanliness (we would see staff after staff taking care of that), and defied natural entropy you would expect in a jungle like this.

The service, cleanliness, breakfasts, rooms (including stunning decks and bathrooms) were all impeccable.
