From the moment we arrived, we were treated like royalty. While checking in, we were given cold glasses of juice and cool towels. The property is beautiful and the views are spectacular. The pools and pool bar area are immaculate, and there are trails leading closer to cliffs/views of the ocean where you can observe parrots, sloths, and monkeys in their wild habitat (suggest getting up early for that). Rooms were clean, and it never really felt overly crowded (even though it is not a small h... Read more

We stayed here at the end of a 9 day trip to Costa Rica and I purposely upgraded our room at this location. Best decision ever!! We arrived after driving from Monteverde and a quick stop in Carrara National Park, to a quick and friendly welcome, fruit drinks, and cool, refreshing towels - what a great start. After a quick check-in, our luggage was put in a golf cart and we were whisked away to our suites with a short stop on the way to see the sloth next to the pool. Our suite was on the top flo... We stayed at this hotel at the end of our tour of Costa Rica. What can I say. The hotel is stunning with fabulous grounds. We stayed in a garden room where we sat and watched humming birds, toucans, hawks and Iguanas pass by daily. Our room was large and comfortable with nice beds and pillows. Free toiletries and fab ceiling fan which we preferred over the good air con. Pool with bar was lovely and there were always beds available. Adult pool was surrounded by Capuchin monkeys on an afternoon, t... Read more

Stayed for 5 days. Loved the hotel... Great library and reading areas... Beautiful pools... Monkeys and sloths hanging around. Great staff... Really made our stay awesome. Very short walk to the beach and short drive to town or other cool hotels for food. This is the place to go in Manuel Antonio!!

Clean rooms, friendly staff, great food, and awesome views. It's location is perfect, with a lot of shops and restaurants near by. They have a private beach, trails through the rainforest, and a few pools. The shuttle to Manuel Antonio beach/park comes in handy, also. We'll be back!

The most beautiful hotel we stayed in in Costa Rica. We were glad it was our last hotel in Costa Rica, as we would have been disappointed if later hotels had not met the high standards of the Parador. Two double beds in the room as well as a refrigerator, coffee maker, hairdryer, safe and all the usual things. Our garden room (110) had a little patio with two chairs looking out over a grassy area on which we saw a big iguana on our arrival. There were quite a lot of iguanas on the property and w... I visited Hotel Parador during Memorial Day weekend 2016. The hotel and Manuel Antonio was gorgeous. Everyone who worked there was extremely accommodating, friendly, and able to give us lots of great advice on what excursions to go on and what restaurants in the area to go to. The hotel had stunning views and the rooms were nice and clean. The hotel as well as Manuel Antonio was pretty quiet given that it wasn't high season so there wasn't any nightlife but it was still a relaxing time of year t... Read more

It is the fourth time that I visit Parador and I have never had the time to write back how nice the experience always is. I have been to other options like Tulemar in Manuel Antonio and despite their nice proposal that they offer it is never as gratifying as when I stay with my family at Parador. The service is marvelous, the rooms are pretty neat and comfortable, the food is always really good and it also offers a nice trail to walk around. The hotel is placed close to a small beach which is ne... Read more

We plan on staying at this hotel every June for the foreseeable future. Service is spectacular. Some hotels have good service because the employees know they have to be nice to you. At the Parador, every employee WANTS to be nice to you. Tatiana, Eric, Jose, Sharon were all phenomenal. The campus is beautiful, the rooms are very nice and the executive chef does a great job with the food. But the real differentiator is the quality of the service. I have not stayed at a hotel with better servic... Read more

Hotel Parador is really a hotel paradise. The manager Jake went above and beyond to make our stay at the Parador one of the best vacations ever. We were upgraded to a lovely amazing suite. We had superb service from the entire staff. Parador comes with my very highest recommendation.

we booked 3 nights here and chose a 'premium room' paying £633 for 3 nights which is about USD 300 per night inclusive. Apparently we 'saved 32%' according to our booking site. As soon as we walked into the reception I knew we had been duped; it was dark, dank, dated and dingy. I looked round at the miserable staff and saw the fake and tacky 'medieval castle' decor and wondered what I'd walked in to. My travelling companion and I were very uneasy, we had paid a top price for this room, specific... Read more

I really enjoyed staying at the Parador. The great views and food make this hotel. The grounds are beautiful. The hotel is huge. There are lots of different pools and buildings. There were so many places where I could spend time with my family. The only problem that I had with the hotel was the service. The service was not always that fast.

Watch the toucans and monkeys in the trees instead! Great long and natural trails for hiking! Free breakfast is wonderful and deluxe! Lots of pools to choose from! I've stayed in Tulemar, the best, and Arenas Del Mar, which is tied with Parador for me. Arenas is stunning, maybe it is second, I got tired of waiting for golf carts to go anywhere, such problems! Parador is great though! Can't wait to go back

We recently stayed at the Hotel Parador at the end of June 2016 and had an excellent stay. The front desk and others at the hotel provided great service and were more than happy to assist with our questions. The hotel grounds were beautiful. The adult pool was quiet and cooler than the other pool with the scenic view. However, the view of the ocean from the family pool was warmer, but had a great view. We also got to see the sloth across the way at the top of a tree from the adult pool. The h... Read more

I stayed here for four nights. Wonderful place. Very attentive staff, great rooms and an amazing view. Place has about everything you could want in a resort: great restaurant, wonderful pool and bar, mini-golf for kids, a walking path/forest with howler monkey's, sloths, etc. I went during the "off-season" which is probably when it is nicest IMO. Place wasn't very crowded. The resort is huge though and I can only imagine it when it is packed. Some of the highlights I found: 1) Wonderful breakfa... Read more

Our stay at Hotel Parador was good for the most part. It's a beautiful hotel with wonderful grounds! We hiked the Monkey Trail which was exhausting but nice although we saw no animals. The pools were beautiful and well taken care of. The gym was excellent, and the putt putt/tennis courts were fun! Our room was decent and clean, with a wonderful bathroom. We stayed here as part of a group travel arrangement. Check in was friendly and efficient. The accommodation ranges from clean, spacious and comfortable garden rooms, through plusher suites to the quite luxurious. On all counts the standards were high, with good cleanliness and maintenance. The food in the restaurant, be that breakfast or the evening Al La Carte menu was of a very good standard, and the setting and ambiance was lovely. Wow what a truly fabulous hotel in an idyllic location. I really can't find fault with any aspect of our stay so it has a strong recommendation. Set in beautiful grounds with stunning views of the ocean and bay you become spoilt for choice as to where to chill as there are three pools which all have a lovely setting. One of the best spots we've vacationed! Staff is extremely friendly, helpful and professional. More wildlife on their private walking trail than what we saw at Manuel Antonio Nat'l Park!
