My husband and I stayed four nights and five days. Our concierge, Mauricio, was fantastic from the start. First, the location and environment. I liked Tulemar more than Manuel Antonio National Park. There is a Sloth Institute whose purpose is to study and help sloths prosper. There are many birds that we saw every day-macaws, toucans- and three kinds of monkeys that play in the trees. The beach is lovely. Kayaks, boogie boards and snorkeling (which is really not that great) are available. EV... Read more

This hotel is absolutely beautiful! But more than that the staff is beyond nice. Daniela, Juan and Chris at the restaurant/pool bar make you feel like family. David on the beach is so attentive the minute you arrive. Orlando was wonderful as a concierge. The girls at the front desk made you feel welcome each time you passed through. It is close to shops, markets and 4 miles from downtown Quepos. 1.5 miles to the public beach for jetskiing, parasailing and surfing. The only thing you should know ... Read more

For our family of 11, we chose to stay in "Mirazul" (2 grandparents, 2 parents and 3 kids) and across the way in "Casa del Mar" (2 parents and 2 kids). Mirazul offered spectacular modern designs: 2 floors of beautifully appointed bedrooms (4) with adjoining gorgeous, upscale bathrooms and a top floor consisting of a superb kitchen, gorgeous, copious dining room and stunning living room - all of which provided sensational views of the most colourful sunsets, brilliant flowers and greenery, acc... Our second family stay at Casa las Nubes in Tulemar in two years. Coming back, the staff remembered us and called us by name, the support staff is incredible and the private pampering and secluded grounds make the bustle of Manuel Antonio seem far away. There is probably more accessible wildlife here than in the park. The added bonus is your own private beach with kayaks, boards and food service. There are for pools available as well as the house pools. Concierge service is amazing with pick up ... Read more

My family (wife and I + 7 year-old twin sons) and I stayed for several nights at Casa Panorama Upper at Tulemar, with Kimberly Barron as our concierge. First, we can't say enough good things about Kimberly. She responded to a myriad of questions by email in the months leading up to our trip. She was incredibly informative and helpful. She's truly an expert in the area, the facility, the culture and travel to CR. One of our guides referred to her as "the last of the mohicans", meaning she's ... Read more

Tulemar is an absolutely stunning resort with individual villas perfectly placed on the hillside down to a beautiful private beach. On the grounds you will see lots of wildlife including macaws and monkeys. All the attendants are friendly and helpful at check in, the pools, the beach the bars. Each villa is assigned S personal concierge, ours was Orlando. He made sure our every need was met whether suggesting activities, booking them, booking dinner reservations, helping with luggage. Just the perfect family vacation if you want to experience the nature in Costa Rica. The service is impeccable, the views were absolutely fab and the beach was fantastic. AND the food at the restaurant was magic. We already miss the staff, very friendly and concerned about the guests, I would like to mention everyone but it would take so many lines, but Orlando, Daniela and Elliot were some special ones. To wake up in the mornings looking out on the beautiful view and meeting all kinds of exciti... Read more

Eight of us (4 adults & 4 kids: 11-15yrs) stayed at Casa Nido de Gansos, which is a castle on the hill next to the shuttle drive down to the beach. Very modern and comes equipped with lots of gadgets and remotes (the tv was never turned on). The 3 bedrooms/bathrooms are the only rooms with a/c which leaves the rest of the building open to the breezes of the Pacific rainforest, and the enchanting calls of the surrounding wildlife. It was a delight to get up every morning to these calls as the 5:3... Read more

Spouse and I stayed at Casa Panorama Lower over the holiday for a once-in-a-lifetime trip. From booking with María through 4Tulemar site onward, our experience was seamless and wonderful. Concierge Kimberly answered all of our questions in the months leading up to the trip and made arrangements that worked perfectly. When we arrived at Tulemar, she showed us around, took us to market and bank, and gave us sound advice. We appreciated how she discerned that we were visiting for more contemplati... Read more

We had a wonderful time. We love the resort itself and the staff were friendly and accommodating. We loved the facilities at the resort and our own bungalow was spectacular. The views from our balcony is breathtaking. We took a couple of tours i.e. Zip lining and the dolphin boat tour. We used the private beach a lot. We also really liked the local restaurants. we got a lot of good deals (1 meal, second half off) because we visited just after peak season. We walked around Quepos a few times and ... Read more
