Excellent hotel... It is expensive but it totally worth it! The rooms are very nice and clean... everything white and simple. Breakfast was included and consisted of a selection of different dishes very tasty from clasical local "gallo pinto" to french toasts and fruits and coffee... really good! Also they have a beach club in front of the hotel... just crossing the street... where you can relax at the beach or take a drink

We drove over from San Jose, about 4 hours, and we were pleasantly greeted with drinks as we checked in. The rooms are very spacious, and we followed the boardwalk along the pool to our rooms. The deck on the rooms really sits right in the jungle and the vegetation is amazing. The beds were ok, the bath large with a huge shower, no tub. The hot water was a bit unpredictable. The staff was helpful and willing to set up tours and connections. The food in the restaurant was so-so for breakfas... Read more

To finish our tour in Costa Rica, we landed in Limon with a small plane. Pick up from hotel le Cameleon was there for us. After 40 min we were already in the hotel. They welcomed us with a fresh fruit cocktail and fresh towels with a fresh smell. We got our room immediatly. It was so beautiful, all in white, cool. We stayed there 4 days, every day they changed the colours, that was amazing. We went out night time in Puerto Viejo and we enjoyed it. Many bars, many restaurants, a real night life. T... Read more

This hotel is the perfect example of the successful integration of a pleasant, cosy place in the luxuriant vegetation. Excellent hospitality, the staff is attentive and makes you feel like you are branded hosts. Great service, both at the hotel and at the beach club. Unforgettable !

I write this in the hope that this would never happen again!! One from our family members nearly drowned because of very strong current (good swimmer!) at Hotel beach. Ambulance, hospital etc.... But he survived luckily. I realise you go into water at your own risk. BUT! The security chain totally collapsed: - No warning of currents at reception when we arrived. - No warning of currents when our children asked for beach towels - No warning signs on the way to beach - No warning from personnel... The hotel is beautiful, built in great harmony with the tropical rainforest. The room is well designed and confortable. The pool area is quite nice, although the water temperature could be warmer, since there is shade from the trees. The breakfast was ok, nothing special. The service provided by the restaurant staff was much below expectations. Intense training program needed asap! All the staff was super nice but seemed lost on what they had to do. The concierge could be much better at suggesti... Read more

I am not to comment on the places I visit but with this place I had to make the exception as it is facined with the beatch club, the pools, the attention and not to mention the food I eat as I live in Panama City accustomed to the hustle and bustle. You get to a place so relaxing where you breathe nature in all its calm splendor, comfortable rooms ... if there is a problem having to go back to the routine ... I recommend them I went on two occasions and no complaint of the place. I will soon ret... Read more

Great Design Hotel in a real nice and nature place. Rooms are really pleasant and design with lots of small great details. Nice balcony with "the view" into the tropical forest. Service is very nice and friendly and pool area is nested into the nature. Breakfast menu needs to be somehow reviewed and beach area needs as well some more work and new installations so as to be then really an amazing beach relax area. There are furthermore new development projects going on, and it seams that all weak ... Read more

I travelled to Costa Rica for second time, but this time decided to go somewhere different and calm. So my family and I stayed at Le Cameleon and it was definitely different. A lot of fantastic decorations everywhere and a very colorful place. We felt in in touch with the nature from our rooms which was very cozy and modern at the same time, all clean and with a lot of space. The pool also very clean even if there was a lot of people. It's right next to the beach and has beatiful landscapes (we... Read more

Arrived from San Jose with a small plane and very nice flight, we were welcomed by Mr Andres at the airport of Limon. The transfer to Cameleon was about 30 min. As repeaters, arriving in Cameleon was a great feeling as we loved this hotel. The welcome was warmer by Check in, the general manager Mr Jorge was waiting for us by himself. He invited us to a nice a la carte breakfast before we going to the rooms. The rooms are even better than last year because they made some renovations and the new d... Read more
