"We got the small room with one bed and the bathroom. No refrigerator, no coffee maker, no bottled water. This room was an additional room to the apartment that we were suppose to get. When I tried to resolve this mistake, I was told that we are two, not six persons, and this is the room that was reserved for us. During 7 days, room was cleaned twice, and towels were changed 3 times, each time we had to ask for. The area of restaurant and reception located nearby swimming pool was under remodeling. The noise from the construction site was continuing everyday through the whole day, so it was impossible to stay longer at the pool. The meals were less then average. We were told that we are suppose to give tips."

FROM Liberia [LIR] Airport
From the airport, drive directly to Nicoya. Shortly after exit Nicoya and turn south to Samara.
From San Jose International Airport
Follow Interamericana Highway North until the you reach the turn off for Tempisque Bridoe [Punete de la Amista].
After crossing the gulf of Nicoya, drive directly to Nicoya. From there straight sourth to Playa Samara.
