We had a tailor made trip organised by this hotel for us. It was simply amazing. We paid before travelling and so arrived in Costa Rica with all the travel arrangements, accommodation and excursions covered in advance. It all worked like clockwork and we had absolutely no problems, apart from one shockingly bad hotel (Hotel Shana), which was the one hotel that I had picked myself. All the others are well known to Adventure Inn staff and any requests we had made beforehand were pre-dealt with by ... Read more

The hotel has a very distinctive style with frescos painted on the walls throughout. It is in a quiet location but also quite close to the airport, It has wifi, and free breakfast which they packed in boxes for us to take away as we were leaving early. The Staff were all very polite and helpful, with advice about the hotel facilities and checking in & out. We wished we were staying a little longer to get to use all the facilities ( great pool and, gym, etc). Our room was big, with a tv, large en... Read more

Adventure Inn was recommended by Caribe Town, which we were staying at in Playa Cocles. Very good recommendation :) Nice, clean, quiet hotel close to the airport, with free airport shuttle, wifi, and breakfast. Staff was very polite, and helpful with both checking in & out. Wish we had of been able to stay a little longer to get to enjoy the full amenities (beautiful pool, Jacuzzi, gym, etc). Love all art work painted along all the hallways. Our room was big, with a tv, hot shower, and mor... Read more

We spent two nights here coming into, and leaving the country.. Free Interbus service to and from the airport. Rooms are clean and roomy. The staff was great. Breakfast buffet was full of local fruit and eggs to order. We had dinner there two nights and both were very enjoyable. Value for price was great.

A group of 16 people coming in for a yoga retreat on the Osa Peninsula needed a place to stay in San Jose before and after the retreat. The Adventure Inn fit our needs as they had enough rooms and it was easy to communicate with them. It helped that the airport was so close. The hotel was charming and pleasant to stay in, and quite clean. The staff was helpful and friendly.

I see now why the same travelers have been staying here for over 20 years. The customer service is top-notch. The owner, Eric Robinson, provides "concierge-like" email communication, with every detail you need and any question answered. He responds quickly and very professionally to emails and has an authentic desire to make your stay at Adventure Inn (and Costa Rica in general) a truly memorable one. His staff are great too! Manfred and Karen at the reception desk are just a delight and they re... Read more

We had the pleasure of staying at this great little inn on arrival and prior to departure from our two week vacation in CR. Staff were welcoming, friendly and helpful after a long day of travel. Rooms and grounds were immaculate and the food and service in the dining room was fast and friendly. Thanks to the staff at Adventure Inn for helping us start and end our fabulous vacation with such a positive experience.

Stayed here after an early evening flight arrival. Used Interbus service to get there from airport which worked great. Hotel was lovely with a super friendly staff, a large room, nice shower HBO, and a very good onsite restaurant ( had a delicious dinner. Menu included both Costa Rican and American choices. Included breakfast was excellent). It met all our needs and more. Next morning our rental car was dropped off at the hotel. We took advantage of a nice grocery close by to stock up on water a...
