In my travels to unfamiliar places, I have usually found TripAdvisor to be a very reliable source of information for getting a good, quality hotel. However, on my recent trip to San Andres, I was sorely disappointed. Hotel Bahia Sardina is very highly rated on TripAdvisor, so I chose to stay there. This was a big mistake. I cannot recommend HBS for any reason. If you read the reviews of hotels on San Andres, you’ll see a common theme—everyone complains about the prices. Clearly, San Andres ... Read more

There was nothing good about our experience in this hotel!!! .. ok the view was pretty good. There is absolutely no way to get sleep in this hotel, our room had old misshapen mattresses, no way to control the temperature of the room, we were either too hot or too cold, the door to the bathroom would stick on a hump in the floor so it was hard to open and close and made a very loud noise, when you turned on the bathroom light a very loud fan that also rattled would come on. The place is just lou... Read more

I was expecting something a little fancier for the price, but it was just ok, nothing to justify lavish praise or write home about,. The room was not so clean when we moved in -- somebody else's hair on the floor. It was improved the second day. Our bed was very comfortable. The bathroom was dingy, fairly scarred from a long battle against mildew, with neither side the clear winner. The beachfront view was great. It is on a busy pedestrian mall, so not exactly a quiet idyllic spot, but this is S... Read more

This is the first time I've felt the need to write a review, but this hotel is priced far, far above what it deserves. I think we were paying for the view. Every surface was dirty, with hairs all over the floor. Creepy. When we arrived, I cleaned the splatter on the door of the fridge right away. Management doesn't seem to care about the upkeep of the hotel. Calking has rotted away from all tiles in the bathroom, leaving an invasion of mildew. Shower doors were old, filthy and broken as was ... Read more

I was hosted in Bahía sardina the first two weeks of January with my family. I loved it. My dad was the one who decided to stay here because it is a very nice place and the price is more accessible than other hotels. The location is beautiful , and it has the best beach in San Andres, there is a safe and nice area so you can walk and is very confortable, it's also close to the stores. There are comfortable and clean rooms, and the food is good The staff was friendly and cordial. I recommend it
