We chose this hotel seeing as it is the flag ship of the Decamerons on the island , But then again we found her to be floundering badly and taking water on fast . It was near to impossible to get a hot meal every thing is cold in the buffet . and the choices were cold pork, fish, chicken or beef . some of the staff were very helpful but the majority did not care, I speak Spanish but that did not change much .The Colombians are supposed to be a proud people but to let this island get to this ... I will try to be as positive as possible, but what a complete disappointment, I always like to read reviews and see what others experience and sometimes I cannot believe what I am reading, how could things go so wrong on vacation...well I am hear to tell you how... We were looking forward to our vacation and thought we were going some place south enough that at least the weather would be good.....although never a guarantee ...it rained for 6 days...I mean RAIN, vertical, horizontal, diagonal....... We have stayed in many hotels on the Island but Isleno is by far unbeatable for. Cleaness, Selection of food, liquor, the rooms with the view of Jhonny cay is a photographer dream due to colours etc... The staff will break their backs for you so that you are comfortable, I can't say enough of this beautiful location and it's island. Go see it for yourself be open minded you will not regret the Isleno. Thank you Indira and your co workers you made this Island paradise more beautiful with your out... Read more

I'm gonna explain my experience being as objective as I can be: 1- Installation: The hotel is very pretty, with a great pool and in front of a beautiful turquoise caribbean beach, so this sound like paradise right? Well it isn't. First thing that doesn't feel like a 5 star hotel are the rooms that looks like a 3 stars hotel, no wifi even when they say it does have in every room (we were a family with four rooms in different buildings and non of them had, so it wasnt coincidence), and the dining... If you are looking for the best hotel on the island, look no further. This hotel has rooms that although not luxurious, have everything you need. The bars, pool and beach is where it's at with this place. It's the only hotel on the island that still has a beach so it can get pretty crowded on weekends or holidays when locals also head there. We went in november which is very good time because the hotel doesn't get too many visitors which makes for better service, especially at the bar : ) The ho... Read more

There were so many constant issues.... anytime I asked staff, they were pissed off that I didn't speak Spanish even though I was assured the front desk is fluent in English. First of all, my flight was late getting in because of heavy rain. When I arrived at the hotel, they walked me to my room on the top floor on the farthest building from the bar/dining area/front desk. I tried to do some important work for my graduate studies, but apparently the wi-fi is non-existent. When I told the front ... Read more

Excellent hotel, with 5 day and 4 nights is perfect, remember to reserve the restauran very early, around 7am and also the tent for the beach, remember that in Colombia you have to pay this. Please remember to reverse with the view to the beach

The hotel has a good location, even if is next to the airport is not noisy, the best thing is the beautiful beach and pool, the service is a little bit sloppy, the rooms have some manteinance issues. The weakest link is food and beverage, they sell you this hotel as the best of the brand in san andres, however the food is very average, if you stay for a couple of days it gets repetitive. Be far away from they "Japanese restaurant " is terrible, try the steak restaurant from the aquarium and the ... Read more

We usually stay at $50-$60 per night hotels, but at the last 3 nights of our vacation we went to the Isleno. The Isleno looks much better than all other all inclusive hotels that we saw in San Andres but we don't think it worth the cost (more than $300 US a night). The food was nice (but not amazing..) and there a lot of options, but for $30-$40 for a couple you can get much better dinner/lunch in restaurants there. and same for the alcohol and cocktails. The room was nice (but not amazing..) wi... Read more
