My wife and I just returned from a few great days at the Hotel Casa San Agustin. Great atmosphere, and nice small touches to make your stay special. While we would recommend the hotel, one word of caution. Our room was located above the internal courtyard that was part of the hotel restaurant. For the three nights we stayed here, there was a live band in that courtyard who played until midnight. While the music was good, it was so loud that my wife and I had to shout at each other in t... My husband and I stayed in the 2 bedroom suite, we really enjoyed both outdoor spaces using the main level terrace with the Jacuzzi midday to cool off with a glass of sangria and the upper terrace at night taking in the view. The breakfast was amazing and the resturant is one of the best in the walled city recommend the ceviche and lobster empanadas. Highly recommend this lovely hotel!!

My wife and I have been fortunate to stay in many luxury hotels throughout our travels. This hotel presents personalized attention in the feel of that given by a caring friend or family member . The staff is able to strike a good balance in being very helpful without the possible drama or intrusiveness of a real family. The hotel was very clean, beautifully appointed and within easy walking distance of all of the Old Town attractions. The food and drinks are wonderful and the housekeeping wa... Read more

From the first moment you enter the hotel you will feel like you are home. Every staff member is extremely friendly and always ready to assist your every need or desire. Reservations were made for us at the best restaurants in the city prior to our arrival and private tours arranged upon our arrival so that we could simply enjoy the city. Make sure you upgrade to a room with private pool or hot tub - you won't be disappointed and do include the breakfast option as it is a great way to start a ... Read more

My partner and I stayed here recently and had the absolute best time. We were welcomed with a yummy drink and got to check into our room early. The hotel is absolutely gorgeous. We were upgraded to a suite bc of a problem with our toilet and it was fantastic. The pool has an old aqueduct that splits it above as this is an old house, but it gives it such a cool feel. The staff are top notch - they go above and beyond. We were helped by Luis and another guy (can't remember his name!) And they t... Read more

Casa San Agustin was tip top from check-in to check-out. This is the type of place that turns a good vacation into a great one. If you can, spend a few extra bucks and stay here. The hotel arranged for transportation from the airport to the hotel where we were greeted curbside and taken promptly to the hotel for a cold towel and refreshing cucumber/mint beverage (essentially a virgin mojito). The beauty of the property is matched by that of the people who work there, from the managers to the maintenance folks. Each of them greeted us warmly, professionally every day and made it clear that they wanted to make our stay comfortable. Elena, the Guest Relations Manager, reached out to us a week before we arrived to inquire about dinners and outings we would like to reserve. We stayed here in our trip on coast of Colombia. The hotel was great and location was incredible. Colombia seems to be hit or miss in the hotel category but we found this was a hit! Romantic area and great walking distance to all the places you want. Only downside was our AC was not so strong and only average. Cartagena is HOT so that was a bit of a disappointment. However the hotel made up for the rest! Stay here in confidence.

Stayed here for 3 nights. This is an amazing, beautiful luxury hotel. The beds are super comfortable and the bathrooms marble. Everything is perfect - it even smells perfect! Try the lobster empanadas - they are amazing! The only negative thing I would say is that they don't cool the pool so it feels more like a bathtub when you get in the heat of the day.
