Located in a great section of the Old Wall City, surrounded by many shops, cafes, restaurants and sightseeing spots. From the rooftop, you can see the city view with the cathedral orange top, it's a great snapshot spot. The hotel staff is very helpful although we had a bit of language barrier with one staff member but he was so sincere and we could see he was really really trying to help us out. The room is a bit tiny side but it was perfect for me and my boyfriend. We really enjoyed sta... Read more

I travelled to Cartagena with 10 friends for a milestone birthday celebration. Everybody chose their own accomm so we ended up in 3 hotels. I was very happy with my choice of the Delirio. Great location, warm and friendly service, stellar air conditioning, modern design, lovely rooftop deck. Some reviews have said the rooms are small; perhaps there are several categories, because my room (404) was spacious. I also loved how the front desk will call their colleagues at Ananda hotel and request... Read more

My friend and I really enjoyed our stay at this hotel, great service, clean rooms and loved relaxing on the rooftop patio at the end of the night. It was a convenience location, everything is within walking distance. Feels very safe walking within the walls, even late at night.

This is the perfect hotel for a solo traveler in the heart of Cartagena and close to everything including the cathedral, museums, restaurants, bars and various plazas. The hotel is tucked away in a very well lit street which is safe to walk at any times of the day or night. The staff was very friendly and multi-lingual. The check-in process was safe and hassle free. My room was small but clean, quiet and very comfortable. I also enjoyed the free breakfast in the morning although it was located i... Read more

Excellent service provided by Andrey, who reserved everything we needed from the desk, and the sir (I don't remember the name now) who accompanied us to the Santander avenue with our bags. It was a Friday, and as usual in all big cities around the world, there was a great transit traffic. I booked a taxi for 19h, as I had a flight at 20h30, but unfortunately the taxi couldn't get in time because of the traffic jam. I asked for help to this sir, and he promptly told us to not worry: took our bags... Read more

My wife's cousin invited us to join them , great choice... Cartagena was great, Delirio hotel was great, staff was very pleasant and we all enjoy Cartagenas food and activities . Front desk agent ,Carolina, was simply outstanding to us four. She helped us in every way.. The hotel is sited in the center of all, the only thing that I would've like was to have a softer Mattress. Besides that, excellent!! JJC

We spent a few nights at the Delirio Hotel on a recent trip to Colombia. The staff was very accommodating, and they rooms were reasonably nice. Some aspects of it were in need of some attention (we had issues with our toilet not filling up, but I believe this was due to water pressure). They location is perfect for exploring. We could walk to nearly everything, and if we had any questions, we could always ask the hotel staff. The rooms were clean, if a bit small, and the rooftop deck was a nice ... Read more

This hotel is in the heart of the walled city and close to everything. The rooms are comfortable and have everything you need. The rooms are small, but that is expected in this historic center. Breakfast is included and there is a nice variety of items. I will stay here again.

I was a little disappointed with this hotel. You can tell that it was once chic and cool and sharp, but its age is showing, and I am sorry to say management needs to step in! We were upgraded to the top floor, not adjoining suites, but adjoing balconies so that is how we went from room to room. Nice balcony to look down into the street and watch Cartagena go by, good skyline views too. The beds are okay, room size okay, but the linens, incuding curtains and shades are worn and frayed. The bathro... Read more
