San Francisco is a good budget option and I liked the location. Went to the Museo National, and also walked up septimax to the Museo de Oro, and plaza. lots of things to see in this area. Not safe at night, except going towards the north is OK.

I like this hotel because it's very easy to get to from airport. There are many local places to eat walking distance during daytime. Value is great and free hot breakfast and free wifi is a good benefit. The staff are very friendly. As most Colombians are. Great country and people. Visiting from USA

I check-out a week earlier from this hotel due to the fact the this hotel is terrible with customer service starting with the operations manager, upon check-out He send the bell-man to my room while I was at the front desk, to check that I did not take the tv control remote, towels, etc. etc. make me feel like a thief, he stated that they do with everybody upon check-out, what a horrible policy of a hotel with a lot of potential, the operations manager was rude, I did not want to argue, it was n... I just came back from Bogota, September 5th, me and 2 other girlfriends stayed in this hotel. The hotel is located right in the center of the city, this has both pros and cons. Pros, it is located just 10 minutes away from the central park of the city, Simon Bolivar park, Museo del Oro, Museo Botero, and 20 minutes distance from the National Museum. Cons, its location is also a bite dangerous late at night or early morning, since the hotel is at the center of the city and right in front of a Tra... Read more

My first time in bogota was extremely fun. I choose this hotel based on the reviews i read about. And to be honest the staff was outstanding in helping me with tours and restaurants to eat at. The bus terminal was right outside the hotel that's a plus, taxi run all day and night, i was able to walk around and visit many if the churches, and museums that was a big plus. Bogota is a wonderful place, the people are so nice and I love the food and poker beer.

Excellent location. Short walk to the National Museum and many other sites. Amazingly efficient and friendly staff. They don't speak English but bend over backwards to help you using Google translate. I had a minor problem with the bathroom faucet that I mentioned it to the staff. They had a plumber repairing the problem within 15 minutes! Room was very clean. The mattress was firm and they had a selection of pillows that included my favorite "memory foam". I slept like a baby. WiFi was e... Read more

The Hotel is near many different nice locations for visit with the Monserrate mountains about 15min walk away. About 30min by taxi from the airport. The free breakfast is quite limited, also the free internet gets disconnected every now and then. There is almost no traffic from outside the hotel from 9pm and there is security at every corner of the street from 4pm until late. Behind the hotel is a bit shady, but you dont need to go there. The streets are loud during the day as it is the main st... Read more

Hotel is clean and simple. Our twin beds were VERY uncomforable, squeaky, and the headboard makes alot of noise. Know some Spanish, no one in hotel speaks English. The hotel is centrally located in Bogota. The streets at night around the hotel are not places you want to be. Convenient mass transit right across the street. Several taxi drivers told us how if beggars come up to the window and you dont give them change they will take the mirror off the car. Uber taxi service is functioning ... Read more
