This place was centrally located to local attractions like museums etc. First timers to Colombia and We arrived in nighttime and area looked kind of shady, but the next day you could see that it wasn't just that area at all - but pretty much entire city looks like this. actually very beautiful with its high hills and beautiful street art. I was almost certain i had booked room with balcony, but when we got there they gave us no balcony. However, based on the room they gave us, was clean and spa... Read more

Stayed here several nights. Rooms are spacious and clean. Breakfast is delicious (eggs your way, arepa, fruit, juice, coffee, croissants) and is served amiably and promptly. Multilingual staff are helpful and attentive. Location is central, a few minutes walk from the majority of tourist sites and safe to walk around at night. There is a little street noise, so earplugs may be advisable for some. They give walking maps to guests, which is always appreciated.

We stayed at Casa Deco recently and it was brilliant. The staff are very friendly and helpful and the hotel amenities are great. It is in a great location in the centro historico and a short walk to historic sites, graffiti tour and bike tour

Hotel Casa Deco is perfectly positioned to explore Candelaria, a hilly district of historic houses, good restaurants and museums, which is my favorite part of Bogota. The staff is excellent, some English is spoken. Breakfast offers welcome choices other than eggs, but the coffee is weak, as is typical. This is a great base for exploring the Candelaria, and taxis are waiting should you wish to go farther.

My daughter and I were looking for a safe place to stay in Bogota that was within walking distance of everything that we wanted to see in the La Candelaria area. We found that at Hotel Casa Deco - and so much more! The rooms are comfortable and spacious. The breakfast that is served every morning is delicious and a wonderful way to start the day. The staff could not have been more friendly and will go out of their way to make you feel at home. And, it is truly in the perfect location to all... Read more

We spent a beautiful couple of nights at casa deco. The location is great for the Botero museum, central plaza, and Bogata bikes (a great way to see Bogata). The staff at Deco is very helpful, breakfast is great, and the hotel is beautiful.

The staff were very friendly and helpful with recommendations for sightseeing and dinner etc. Fresh fruit at breakfast was a bonus and the rooms were very clean with comfy beds. However, the location of the hotel on the corner of a busy crossroad is annoying at best. Fortunately there is little to no traffic after around 10pm so you can get a decent nights sleep before they start up again around 6am. Originally I was going to give the place a four because it was a very enjoyable stay and there ... Read more

The Hotel Casa Deco is the perfect place to stay while visiting Bogota. It is located in La Candelaria, the historic district, and is located within walking distance of many great musuems and restaurants. It is even walkable to the base of Montserrat and is only a block from Bogota Bike Tours (a great activity!). The staff was very welcoming and helpful and attended to anything we needed. Wi-fi was spotty in the room, but worked fine on the terrace and in the main areas. The terrace is beautif... Read more

Right in the heart of old town, you are easy walking distance to most major attractions. Felt safe walking around unti 10:00 pm, but did not got out, except by taxi, after that. Taxis are dirt cheap! The area has many hostels and bars. I am sure the kids that stay in them are very nice. I had no problem at all. But the tend to travel the streets in packs and later at night pour out of the bars borracho! The area is a bit noisy on Saturday nights, but otherwise fine. Our solution was to g... Read more

The Casa Deco is a great place to stay in the Candelaria district of Bogota. We stayed in the purple suite, which is a delightful, top floor room- very spacious and had access to a terrace with a nice view. We also enjoyed the breakfast each morning. The staff was friendly and professional and most spoke at least a little English. The owner Gianpaolo was often on the premises and generally had time to discuss everything from touristic highlights of Bogota to the fine points of buying an emer... Read more
