The buffet dinner food is very good. It looks simple but everything I try is very good. Breakfast in the restaurant is excellent. I enjoyed eating their noodles with some toppings that they provided. The best noodles I ate in Shanghai! The mall next door is also excellent. The club room also has very nice atmosphere. I enjoyed everything during my stay here. Even their bathroom amenities are pretty and smell good! The staff at the lounge is friendly and accommodating. I will come back!!

Location is pretty good, in the same building as Zhongshan park shopping mall. Fashion stores, restaurants, supermarket, banks are all within the same building. Altogether this makes a great business hotel . Rooms are quite spacious, clean and service crew are friendly. Price wise, very value for money compared to those hotels near the bund.

The only positive here are happy staff trying. Poorly cleaned bathroom on arrival, key staff not speaking English in the restaurant & cafe, average food served cold & an average location. Really expect better from a 5 star hotel. One star for trying.

Had stayed in this hotel for 4 nights. I changed my room after the first night. It's because the plugs near the bed aren't working. The air-con is very noisy. Some cupboard doors in the toilet are worn out. It's abit shock to me, as this is a room for a 5-star hotel. The new room is much better, as those problems which I mentioned above did not occur. However, I do think the hotel should renovate their rooms, as its abit old. Service: the staff can speak good English. They are helpful and poli... Read more

The hotel is not located in the very city center and not far from the Hong Qiao airport. The hotel is huge. The lobby is located on the 25th floor. The highest guest floor is 58. The view is cool both at day and at night. The rooms are spacious and clean. The breakfast is great. The lobby is too cold, like in a Chinese hotel. The people are nice.

Our stay in Renaissance Shanghai Zhongshan Park Hotel was such a ‚??surprising‚?? experience. My friends and I stayed there one night in two separate rooms, and we checked in separately. The second time when we checked in, the receptionist Jimmy was impatient, somehow rude with our questions over hotel facilities, tourism information and so on. We did asked some questions, but we did not expect a disparaging face. For our doubt over free wifi in room, he told us that they always charged for wifi... Read more

I stayed there last week for business. Everyone is very nice, especially Dillon from the Front Desk, making sure my reservation is well taken care of. And the lounge stuff were nice too. The hotel is located above Zhongshan Park Station on metro line #2/3/4. Very convenient to both highspeed train stations and airport. I walked 10K from the hotel to the Buns one night to see the splendid view on the way.

I really enjoyed staying here. It was connected to a mall (with a grocery store, shopping and restaurants) and the mall is connected to the 2,3,&4 lines of the metro. This is really convenient to getting around Shanghai. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The breakfast buffet is great. Very good selection of Eastern and Western foods.

One of the largest buildings in western Shanghai area, which always makes it easy to locate if you venture around the area outside the hotel. Unique hotel with the lobby on the 25th floor. Hotel is connected to a 9-story shopping mall and is adjacent to a great area park location.

I am not that picky but when I have my assistant check and confirm.... Then nothing... Does not go over well. The executive lounge is ok also, nice atmosphere but crowded in the evening. This is probably my 4th or 5th time staying in this property. In general, I have no complaint about the property, except for the fact that they don't have swimming pool (at least none that I know of). Rooms were very nice, clean, bathroom was clean, shower (tiles came off the floor, but nothing too bad) and a bath, check in was fast, a little strange that the hotel starts on the 25th floor, so you need to ride the elevator up then check-in, then another elevator to your room. Staff were downstairs to direct us to the 25th floor so it was ok. The Bar was great especially the waitress Ria I think her name was, and the singers were good. As was mentioned by many other hotel residents, the convenience of location of this hotel is awesome, and you just need to exit the metro station and go directly to the hotel via a shopping mall, which, of course, offers many palatable choices. The twin-bed room I stayed in was a bit small and it's really difficult to hire a cab for most part of the day, even when it's 9-ish at night. That explains the easy accessibility by metro.

Stayed here for 3 nights for business last month. The location is very convenient, considered to be the heart of town. A lot of amenities at your doorstep. Hotel is fairly new and staffs were relatively friendly. My only complaint will be the fact that our room didn't come with breakfast and the breakfast was priced on the high side. Other than that, it's a good stay. Wifi took a while to work but after that it is a breeze.

Room is standard, a bit old already. Bed is comfortable. Breakfast however is only average and expensive. I expected for such a large hotel a more comprehensive buffet. Regular coffee it's not good. Ask for fresh coffee from the machine. However, some staff will not understand what you want. Gym and 25 m swimming pool are on the 12th floor, part of a Chinese health club. Pool is busy with Chinese swimmers (reckless), swimming cap is required.
