My husband hit the proverbial nail on the head when he called the hotel fecal. It stank, a mixture of cigarette smoke and eau de corpse. The walls were exfoliating with actual footprints upon them. The bathroom was too horrible to speak of in polite company. We checked in, and though it involved financial loss, immediately checked out. DO NOT BOOK THIS HOTEL UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES.

Just stayed there for three nights. The locationnis good and cheap for a quick business trip but i've got food poisoned with the breakfast they offered me, be careful. Other negative point, no hot water in the room and not the bathroom wasnt very clean.

It was a simple and economic hotel, only to take a rest and to sleep, but its location is excellent to buy and eat something, due to many stores, Carrefour and restaurantes. It was good for my staying 4 day at this hotel in general.

The only poin i give to this hotel is because their location and this they problem list while i stay: 1. The pillow sheet is broken and they didnt change it until we check out (im stay for 5 night) 2. The kettle is really dirty and there fungus inside 3. Really rude staff from front office, housekeeping and restaurant staff(they can yell at you) 4. Never ever pay for and eat there breakfast its not worth it (the food it's bad, they always out of plates, knife, fork and cup even they only using p... Read more

This is the saddest and most pathetic hotel I have ever been. They had charged a good amount for the stay. The front desk seems to be too busy to help you and is shabbily dressed. Irony is they charged us RMB 120 more just to split the beds (We had booked a double standard room) and instead wanted twin beds. The breakfast is more pathetic. Difficult for vegans. They have a tiny dirty omlette making pan and people cook beef, pork and eggs everything in it. Yuck... ITs so dirty. No continental bre... Read more

The Hotel is near to Shanghai New International Exhibition Centre and it take 10 minutes by Taxi with charge RMB 15.- and also neighbour of Laya Plaza and just opposite Tang Mall. We should take taxi to Shanghai Science Technologies Museum paid RMB 15.-, then we can take Metro Line 2 to anywhere in Shanghai.

Easy to reach. Nice location. Rooms just enough, not big. Good breakfast. Just on the other side of the road is Thumb plaza, the expat area with lots of reastaurants and bars. Good food. A very large Carrefour and in the basement a food-market. Also to be visited.

We stayed in this hotel for just one night, pretty much because of cost and because we were under the assumption that it was near a metro station, it is a bit of a walk to the station - and I like to walk - and the room is absolute crap, super small toilet (almost like an airplane toilet with a shower cramped in) - reception is ok, and staff was fine ... otherwise it just bad ... use only if the location is important for you. Otherwise there are hundreds of better options

IBIS LIANGYANG has a good location (despite non so close to a subway station), nearby Thumb Plaza and Laya Plaza in Pudong. Supermarkets, Shopping Mall, wide choice of restaurants and bars all within a few hundred meters. Century Park is just 5 minutes away. About the hotel: we all know that choosing IBIS you are not looking for a luxury accommodation but, instead, for reliable standards, in convenient position and affordable prices. We also know that, the IBIS Standards might have a flexible ra... Read more

After disembarking from a lovely cruise we were booked in here for the day, as we had very late flights. The staff had difficulty with English. We had to move around builders working in main reception. The room was dreadful, it was dirty, in bad decorative order and only allowed 2 green tea bags for our stay!! No chance getting coffee or ordinary tea eventually was given two more green tea bags. We were grateful not to be staying the night. Hotel is very cheap but I can understand why.

Lousy staffs, lousy breakfast, lousy room, everything is lousy. My rate is inclusive of breakfast but the staff told me it was not included when I want to have my breakfast. The worst experience I have ever had with Ibis.

i think i have had about 10 of those cards pushed under my letterbox and they even sell condoms in the reception area. There is mould in my bathroom, the internet is awful and the place could do with being knocked down and made into flats.
