This was a charming little hotel and the best thing about it was it's location right off West Nanjing Road Station which made getting around super convenient. The area around the hotel's was also buzzing with activities, retail shops and restaurants. Room wise, I was lucky that they decided to upgrade me to a Pizzazz Corner Studio, which at 84m2, was huge in every regard. The room was very tastefully decorated with the only flaw being uneven housekeeping which sometimes did not replenish used... Read more

The location of the hotel is very convenient. Across the street there is a metro station, line no. 2. We booked a spacious well decorated suite room with balcony. We only had difficulties with the whole lightening system. It was too bright in the bed room and not enough light in the living room even if we were able to dim the light. The hotel is located a very nice old building with only about 6 or 7 floors. We prefer these kind of indivudual hotel as we do not like the anonymous 1000 rooms hot... Read more

Cachet Boutique Hotel in Shanghai once again excelled in terms of customer service, friendliness and an overall feeling of a cosy, warm and welcoming hotel. I stay in lots of hotels throughout the year and this one is often a highlight for me as the staff and the general set up make this feel more like a home from home.

This hotel is a Fantastic Boutique Hotel in the heart of Shanghai. I have stayed here twice and the service, food, beds etc are all a very high standard. The only issue with my last stay was there was nobody at the front desk when I arrived.

Saw this hotel on agoda with good review and reasonable price so I gave it a try. Main entrance on side street and lobby at 3/F so you have to look for it. Staff speaks good English and I was upgraded to the Executive Floor and stayed 2 nights. The room was huge with pantry and the bathroom is spacious and clean. The lobby, corridor and room is very dark and moody which may not be some people's cup of tea, but I'm fine with it. Though I am on business, it would also suit anyone (single or co... Read more

I recently stayed at Cachet Boutique in Shanghai for just one night. I chose this hotel purely because it was a mere 3 -minute walk to my meeting. Considering the heavy traffic on Nanjing Rd, it was a big plus. The entrance was a little bit inconspicuous. Both the taxi driver and I did not spot it right away. The check in counter was on the 3rd floor (I think there was a sign there). Since no one was at the bell counter, I just went up directly. The lift interior was dark and mirrored. I would... It has been more than 9 months since my last visit and would say the service level is still there.... breakfast has been improved with hot items able to be selected from the menu. The team is helpful and courteous. Two things would like to see some improvement.... better air-con in the meeting room for breakfast, some smile from the server during happy hour and would be nice to keep the nuts at the counter instead of just cheese.... happy to stay at the hotel again....

...met every need. No restaurant but didn't need one with so many other eating places to choose from. Complimentary drinks and happy hour in the evening made the stay were pleasant. Enormous beds, clean well furnished and luxurious rooms with breakfast made to order. Quiet and extremely comfortable with the reception located on the third floor. Not for the budget conscious traveling China. Staff could not do enough for us - a great stay.

My first visit of Cachet Boutigue Shanghai in November 2015 did not left really a positive memories. During booking via agency it was indicated 42m2 of room floor but the one I actually got was maybe around 15m2. Upon I open window it couldn't be closed anymore without a room service and screwdriver assistance. Once I try to open locker below TV the doors fall out of hinges onto floor and nearly miss my bear foot. There were other issues as well but as I always do; I always give a second chance ... My boyfriend and I stayed at Cachet this month during our vacation to Asia. We backpacked through most of the trip but decided to splurge in select cities. Through my research I found Cachet and it looked like it would be the perfect amount of fancy and uniqueness. I was right! The size of the hotel makes this feel like it has a personality not like other hotels that are so huge and the same as any other place. The room we stayed in was the standard room. It was big and had a little kitchen and ... Read more

Great Boutique Hotel but without the luxuries of a normal 5* hotel. I had a room with an internal window which meant no natural sun light - it was the cheapest room but it drove me mad over the period of my stay. The breakfast is OK but on the basic side as it's a small hotel. Discrete and in a good location. As long as you get a room with a window I'm sure you'll enjoy.

My recent experience in Cachet Boutique in Shanghai can be considered a very good one. The hotel is a very peculiar place considering its design and I really appreciate how the hotel has been organized. Nice rooms, very spacious with seating area and sofa. Large comfortable bed, kitchen area with hob, microwave and kettle and always a good touch - a nespresso maker. I had an excellent stay at Cachet Boutique Hotel. Friendly staff, great service, spacious rooms and superb location. Breakfast area is in the lobby, which I assume can be a bit crowded if many people but during my stay it was very calm. Excellent choice of breakfast dishes with fresh juices or smoothies. I also enjoyed the free evening snack and wine/beer between 6-8 pm.

I just love this hotel. Basically home from home. This is definitely the best hotel I've stayed at in Shanghai. Metro, Restaurants, Shopping ON YOUR DOORSTEP. Big rooms,,comfortable beds, fairly good internet. Room has everything from toaster, iron, kettle, cooking hob, cutlery and a few pots and pans.

Overall stay was great, only comment was breakfast - it is limited in choice and the same all thru the week and Just average in taste. Omelette lacked taste. Chairs were too low for the dining table and table was small for the breakfast. Other than that service and rooms and location was superb! Receptionist very kind to lend us RMB for the taxi when we discovered our money was in Taiwan yen! Great service.
