The accessibility to the hotel was quite challenging since you have to better use of bus facilities. The hotel was located behind McDonald's outlet in Huangshi West Road. The easiest way to reach the hotel is by using Train Line 3 from Baiyun airport, and then get off at Baiyundadaobei Station. You choose exit C2 then walking towards a closest bus stop in front a local mall and choosing Bus 168 from there. You may stop at Ma Wu plaza then walking a just short distance towards McDonald's. I have stayed in ibis many times in different locations but my exprience at Ibis Huangshi Guangzhou was not good.I stayed from 15th oct 2015 to 19th oct 2015 in room no. 716. No doubt the hotel is at a good location but the room conditions are very bad. I had to change my because the wall was spilt with red marks all over with hand print as well..it gave an impression of a hand covered in blood..i just couldnt wait for another minute and told them for a room change. The curtains of my room was s... Read more

Having recently joined Accor loyalty, I was quite looking forward to staying at ibis. A budget hotel is all I wanted for my visit to Guangzhou. The room was comfortable, the service was top notch and the food was excellent. My only complaint is I was blatantly told no points will be given for my loyalty programme. The city was easily accessible, and I believe people coming for trade purposes in this city will find this hotel meeting their needs pretty well.

This hotel should not be part of the Accor Group. I have been a member of Accor for a long time and use their hotels all around the world but this hotel was very poor. It was grubby. The front desk staff were extremely unhelpful. They use antiquated pen and paper systems. I cut my visit short. It was cheap but the distance from public transport meant I spent twice the room rate on taxis over the day and a half. I will not stay there again.
