We tried to find a place that was good value, well located, and yet not totally run down; and boy am I glad we found this place. It worked well for us as a base to run around. Located close to the well known night market, and a number of major Sites, we walked easily to most places we wanted to see, and took the nearby subway station (10 min walk) to anywhere else further. Note that I knew a good amount of mandarin, which made communicating easier with the staff. Their English is not particula... Read more

Hi I am from Indonesia and I stayed in this hotel starting from Jan 2 to Jan 6 2017 and I booked the twin room. Hotel price was good. The location is pretty great. It is around 750 m from Wangfujing Subway Station exit C (you can just walk). from exit C you just walked straight (Beijing Hotel will be in your right) until there is the first junction and then you go right. Just walk straight for like 100 m and you can see the hotel. It is also really close to Wangfujing street. There are minimark... Read more

Tianan Rega hotel is located in so convenient place where you could easily reach to wangfujing street, Tienanmen square and also to the metro stations. As the hotel is located in a center, you could easily visit many attractions by Metro without much difficulty. the Hotel provides nice and clean rooms and the staff members who work in the hotel were really friendly. Tianan Rega hotel offers real value for money.

Obviously the location of this hotel is very good - 10 minutes walk to Tian An men square and Forbidden City Palace Museum, 10 minutes walk to nearest metro station, lots of restaurants within walking distance. Breakfast is not included. We didn't have breakfast at the hotel as it is quite expensive 80 RMB. If you wake up early there is one breakfast stall open just opposite the hotel, beside the convenient shop, selling some traditional food like ???, ?籠??, ??漿.

We stayed in a basic room. Price was good, clean & OK sized room, comfortable bed. The bathroom had light mildew and slight odor. (This is almost the norm for less expensive hotels in China). Hotel reception clerks speak just enough English to get you to your room and deal with billing, do not expect much more. The hotel is near many top tourist sites, which is both good and bad. Easy walking distance to Forbidden City, Tiananmen Square, National Museum. Wangfujing Street and Qianmen pedestria... Read more

The room was average and windowless but good for the budget. It was so close to major attractions: Forbidden City, Tiananmen Square, fancy shopping street(s), and fun alley of sorts with all kinds of foods...including bugs on a stick! We felt safe here too.

The good: - Very, very decent price - Location: 7-min walk from either Wangfujing or Tiananmen East subway station; close enough walk to the main strip but quiet enough otherwise - Room (Economy room, no window) was well-appointed, comfortable and clean - Friendly and helpful staff - In-house restaurant on L2 is decent, and not exorbitant; 10% discount for guests - Was allowed to check out late-ish and leave my luggage at reception The um: - The decor is something right out of the late 1990s/ea... Booked a no window room, stayed 1 night, everything was clean, the location was really perfect, 5 min walk to Tiananmen Square, staff could not speak english, but that's China... :-) Would recommend for a short stay. A small market is just across the hotel so everything was fine.

Good location, close to Forbidden City, Tienanmen Square, Mall strip, lots of shopping and food within walking distance. Rooms were spacious, but could use a good vacuum. The counter staff is very stiff, not really friendly. But relatively helpful if you make the effort to communicate with them. Phone translation app an extremely useful tool to have.

The hotel doesn't seem to be able to get the numbers right since day 1. Nevertheless room cleaning was great. On the last day they called a cab for us but couldn't fit in our 2 big & 1 medium luggages thus the boot had to be left open till the AirPort. useful information in case you need: airport express 30mins costing rmb25 - convenient but take note of the stairs to climb if you have heavy luggage and elderly, taking a taxi would be better Hotel rooftop bar roast duck & great view - wasn'...
