It was an amazing dinner in jing yaa tang. It had a few guests left when we came to have dinner here. That's why we can get our food and drinks as soon as possible. Some more the service by Cher(hopefully it's the correct spelling) was perfect, she showed us how to take the duck correctly. What's more, when we were confused that how to settle down our bill,Cher separated it into three ,that really helped us. Thanks to the whole team to give us a so nice time as well. Thanks again to jing yaa tang.

The staff are really top notch. Front desk especially incredible - they went out of the way to help me check in online for my departing flight. House cleaning staff so thoughtful - left various drawers and doors half open to show me where there was a stereo, or a pair of slippers. Staff at the restaurant for breakfast were also so accommodating - it was a culture of yay-sayers - don't say they don't exist. I also loved the stainless steel swimming pool + gym in the basement - no icky basement s... Read more

A beautiful hotel and my preferred one in Beijing. The location is fantastic in the middle of sanlitun. The architecture is beautiful and the large rooms (70 and above) truly immense and beautiful. The service is Swire level which means great. Cathay Pacific business class on the ground ! The hotel has gotten a bit older after 10 years of running and a subtle renovation would not hurt, but it remains great. Breakfast is quite simple and perhaps a bit expensive for the choice it offers but qualit... Read more

Stayed at the hotel for 3 nights and enjoyed the experience. Highly professional staff and made me feel very welcome. Check in was very smooth with perfectly bilingual staff. The guest experience manager, MJ looked after all my needs. Had a noise issue with the first room I stayed in and they moved me immediately to a quieter side of the hotel. Stayed in a 17 series room that is on the quiet side of the hotel. They have very high quality amenities in the bathroom. Products from Australia. Room i... Read more

The service is just amazing. I simply don't know where to start. From the complimentary drive to the restaurant because there was too much traffic for taxis to get to the hotel to the tiniest details every where of sublime service and hospitality. The first day they put 2 face moisturizer masks on the night cabinet with a hand written letter saying "it was a dry day" the next day they topped it with hand cream and then lip balm. When Calling service for something they were instantly there,... Read more

Part of Hong Kong-based Swire Group's fledgling hotel chain, the Opposite House opened almost a decade ago in Beijing's Sanlitun neighborhood, the capital's high-end retail and dining hub. An antidote to the anonymous chain hotel, the hotel is a small, design-oriented property with sleek rooms and polished service, and is an ideal choice if you're looking for an indelible sense of place. A note on location: Sanlitun is convenient for shopping and dining, but is not within walking distance of ... Read more

The location is perfect. The hotel is a short walk from many of my favorite restaurants and bars. The rooms are very clean, bright and contemporary. All the amenities are included and housekeeping is quick to replace or provide anything you need. Although the rooms are a little minimalist for my perfect score the service throughout more than makes up for it. Frank Fang, the assistant director, was very friendly and on top of everything. From the time I checked in I think the entire staff ... Read more

This hotel is a breath of fresh air in a city full of stuffy old school hotels. This design focused hotel offers modern & contemporary luxury which doesn't compromise on service at all. The staff are great and the technology of this very user friendly. I prefer this location over hotels near the Forbidden City as there are many shops and trendy restaurants near by and its a good escape from the tracky tourist traps near the main attractions. I feels locals would frequent this area, not just tour... Read more

Opposite House has been our first choice of stay since the luxurious brand opened in Beijing 6 / 7 years ago. Now living outside of the city, sometimes it's easier just to stay downtown when meeting with friends or having late business meetings. OH's contemporary look and feel has drawn us back time after time. But it's more about the employees, we just love them. They know us by name and by nature. There's always a gift in the room, or a glass of champagne waiting for us. It's the small details... Read more
