We stayed here for 5 nights while wrapping up our 2 week visit in China. It is pure luxury. The rooms are awesome. The service is good. The restaurant is good but very expensive. Even just for a cup of coffee. The location is just ok It's about a 20 minute walk to Tiananmen Square. Not alot of good restaurants nearby. I would try somewhere else next time based solely on the price of this luxury. I think there are probably better deals to be had elsewhere.

This hotel has the nice location and the best cost performance in BeijingÔľ?We enjoyed the happy hour , gym, free cycling and some other service. I would recommend this hotel to my family and friends if they come to Beijing and next time i will choose it againÔľ? The only problem is that the bed is a little bit small

I stayed at New World Hotel for 2 nights for a business trip and so far is one of the best options I tried in Beijing. Rooms are spacious and you can find all the comforts you need but the best part is the excellent service and the very qualified staff. Everyone is very kind, perfect english, willing to help with indications and super attentive. Once I arrived, 2 gentlemen escorted me to the room and I had my check in done there. The hotel was very well maintained and had very helpful staff who could speak good English. The rooms were spacious and modern and the pool facilities were great. The hotel had a more business-like feel but was within walking distance of the temple of heaven and the forbidden city. My only criticism is that the hotel services (such as airport shuttle and food) were overpriced. They quoted the equivalent of £55 for an airport transfer which ended up costing £10 in a metered taxi.

If you are visiting Beijing for the first occasion, I would strongly recommend that you stay here for the following reasons: Excellent location, good range of western and Chinese food, friendly and helpful staff ( always could find someone who spoke good English), clean and spacious rooms with good air-conditioning and lastly but not least the excellent roof top terraces to have breakfast. Having toured around China we voted this the best hotel of our tour. The food choice and quality was excellent as was the service. The rooms have a modern boutique feel and are nice and quiet. Importantly, they have well respected non smoking rooms. Location is close enough to walk to the Forbiden City.

This hotel is gorgeous, modern, clean and without a doubt the service at this hotel is the best I've ever experienced. As we booked a room in the residence club, we were allowed to check-in in the residence club living room where we were offered drinks and relaxed in the peaceful environment while a staff member completed the check-in process for us. We stayed just two nights for our quick Beijing tour, and we wish we had stayed longer. The room they gave us was huge, it was clean and it was like a two bedroom condo unit, maybe bigger. The hotel itself was really amazing, with lots of food options and great customer service to boot. Will definitely stay here when we come back to Beijing

Overall this hotel was really great but the staff were ridiculously rude. A couple of examples include our check in where the staff member literally and quite visibly turned his nose up at us when we politely declined to add breakfast on to our stay. We stayed here three nights during a month long visit to China. Overall this was our favourite hotel. The rooms are big and spotless. The location and neighbourhood walking is excellent; it's near Tiananmen Square. The rooftop bar affords excellent views of Beijing in an outstanding open air setting. The martinis served are the best in China.

What a fantastic hotel for a really great price. Truly one of the nicest hotels I've stayed at. Really wonderful breakfast, modern and clean rooms and a terrific lobby, pool and spa. The only downsides are 1) cost of car service to/from airport and the color of water that came out of our tap (but only 1x). Amazing stay though!

On third night a note was left saying the water would be off from 1 to 5 am for "maintenance" and to let run for 1 or 2 minutes to let brown water pass. Very friendly staff, speaking English rather well. Good starting point for tourism. Well-equipped roof-top bar, serving decent cocktails @ a fair price. Top-notch Cantonese Restaurant with a great value Deal, CNY 98 for unlimited Dim Sum during lunch time.

We spent four wonderful nights here. This is a relatively NEW hotel in Beijing. Our executive level room was HUGE and beautifully appointed. Check in was super fast (there were three clerks working) and informative. The young people at the desk all spoke English and were very pleasant too. The Executive Lounge in this hotel is probably one of the BEST lounges we have ever enjoyed. We were on the 9th floor and loved that we could just use the lovely interior staircase to go up one flight to ... Read more

Very fresh, modern, in style, superb breakfast. Walking distance to Forbiden city, Tiananmen Square and Hutong. Nice and lively market around the corner from Beijing hotel, entrance from walking street. There good restaurant to taste Beijing Duck. Accross the street from the hotel there is China Contruction Bank to change money and advice to visit 12th floor bar with dance lessons on weekends. We had salza and swing.

Comfort and cleanliness of the room spoiled by the most pungent smell of cigarette smoke from previous guests. There must be prohibition on smoking in the rooms or at least accommodate guests that do not smoke in rooms where smoking is forbidden.

I stayed one night at this hotel 2 years old and had a very good impression about this hotel and this makes my return this time for 3 nights. Very good location only 15 minutes walk to Wangfujing and 5 minutes walk to subway station. Delicious breakfast with various choices. Their Chinese restaurant Qinian 8 is also a very high standard Cantonese restaurant. Try to get the promotion offered by their official website and you can get a very reasonable price! High recommend!!

One of the best hotels in stayed in. The room was lovely and very clean. The staff offered is an upgrade as we were there on a special occasion. We loved our room and the room service was impecable. Never had such lovely in room dining before! The staff helped us book a taxi for the great Wall of China for a reasonable price and we traveled in luxury! The staff are just unbelievable and very helpful, polite and informative. The l9cation of the hotel is also great. I would not consider any other ... Read more

The hotel was clean and comfortable, but unfortunately we did not receive our cash deposit back after we left. There was a lot of back and forth with customer service and they refused to admit that they had made a mistake. Needless to say, it was an infuriating experience and we were in shock by how poor customer service was. Avoid at all costs unless you don't mind possibly getting ripped off of a few hundred dollars.

Excellent hotel !Was on transit. Even though check in was only at 1400 and our flight arrival was at 0600 they allowed us an early check in upon arrival. We visited Great Wall of china and everything was perfectly organized! Excellent hotel only 1/2 an hour away from the airport and still in the city center! Team was very friendly and helpful and the hotel was very clean!

I stayed here for 6 nights in the club lounge with my girlfriend. From the very first night we instantly knew it was the perfect decision to stay: we were greeted by friendly porters who went out of their way to ensure we were informed of all of the hotel facilities and surrounding sights (Alex). The concierge went above and beyond to check that the sights we wanted to visit would be open. The club lounge staff were very personable and attentive to our favourite drinks, whilst the buffet and coc... Read more

This is a lovely hotel with fabulous amenities. We stayed for 5 nights in September and practically had the beautiful spa to ourselves. The room itself was very well appointed with everything you could possibly want. We live in London so we found the prices to be very reasonable although you can expect to pay a bit for the breakfast and in the fancier hotel restaurants. It was one of the best breakfast spreads I've ever seen though. The roof top bar is great and reasonably priced, I think we en... Read more
