I have stay 5 nights in Beijing at ibis hotel Beijing jiangoumen. This hotel is simple n have good location . 10 minutes walk to jiangoumen subway ( line 2) just one station away from tian an men square imperial palace etc. The service of the staff are excellence. They are very friendly attended to detail. It is a small hotel. Room is Nice and clear. The rate was value for money. Alone the street there are good small restaurant and departmental store , super market , cafe etc.

If you are looking for a cheap hotel and don't mind that your room stinks of effluent or that a sign requests you to put used toilet roll in the bin, then this may be the hotel for you. But if you expect to find an Ibis hotel which meets the standards familiar to Europeans, think again. It's cheap but decidedly uncheerful. I will never stay there again.

Clean and comfortable bed with good shower. Nice location close to Silk Street Market, but if you go out of immediate area taxis have a hard time finding it (I always had one of the hotel cards with me which helped). There isn't a buffet breakfast any longer, but the set one on offer was fine.

The hotel is about a 5-10 min walk to the nearest subway/train station . It is off the main road and has plenty of small restaurants and eating places just outside within walking distance . The hotel rooms are average size and a bit cold . Simple amenities but quite cozy . The higher floors offer smoking rooms . The restaurant serves mainly Chinese and Japanese's food , very little American food . You can go nearby for other types of food . There is a large supermarket just two buildings away i... Read more

I stayed at the Ibis in Jian'guomen for 2 nights recently and I have to say even though it is in the "budget" category offered by Ibis I wasn't impressed in the slightest. After a short checkin, I was given my room key by Reception (who unfortunately did not speak much English) - no explanation about breakfast even though I had paid for it in my room booking. The relevance of this will be revealed shortly. I got to my room and to be honest, I was quite shocked by the poor quality of the furnish... Read more

Good I don't like when I called for reservation or ask question they pick up the phone and put me on hold so many time so I have to book the room through the website only. But not much complain pretty good overall

When we travel on personal pleasure or small business trip, we stay at the hotel. Rooms are little bit small, but the price is affordable. Breakfast is good. Closest restaurants are good. We love Chinese cuisine.

Very good location. Just 10 min walk to silkmarket and metro. You can find supermarket and many good restaurant close the Hotel. We been visit Beijing many times and stay many different Hotel , so have to say, this Hotel is good for you money! Of course room rates are always a little high for traveller who use Euros, because rmb is quite strong currency, and change money you have to go bank. Happily there are few just behind the corner. If you go bank, do it early like 10 am.

Our flight was delayed so we arrived at the hotel just before 7:00 pm and were told our rooms had been let to somebody else because we were late. The booking had been guaranteed by my credit card but the hotel said they could not honor that because the website did not transfer a deposit to them. The booking was made from the Ibis website. Fortunately we had a Chinese friend with us as there was nobody at the desk who spoke English. Our Chinese friend shamed them into finding us two rooms. These ... Read more

The Receptionists were so rude and unfriendly. They were impatient when being asked a few questions. The rooms were so untidy. Amenities are really limited . The rooms looked tired and poor maintenance . The room temperature can't be set, it is always at 25 degree . Very hot ! It looks like a Budget hotel and not worth paying for the rate .

I stayed 4 nights in this hotel, last September. It is the worst Ibis hôtel I've stayed in... - check-in staff that do not speak a word of English - smelly rooms, smells cigarette. - noisy rooms - prostitutes (considering the noisy room, i think you can imagine the disturbance...) - no breakfast available (while it was said to be included) Other OK points - bed was OK - bathroom was OK - subway close by I think you should avoid this hôtel if possible.
