We stayed here for 5 nights, and what a property. From the moment we walked in it was clear this wasn't your average corporate cookie cutter hotel. The artwork in the lobby alone was more than you'd find in some galleries, and the owners personal taste and aesthetic is on display. The hotel is luxuriously furnished, and the rooms are finished with flair and some nice touches like a massage chair which is also looks like a designer masterpiece, not like those you see in airport lounges. Stayed 3 nights 6/21-24/2016. Even if you're not a fan of modern art, the amazing art in this hotel will put a smile on your face. The rooms are quite elegant, clean and comfortable. There's just a few minor details I'll call out, but staying here is such a pleasant change from any traditional hotels- even the best. Many of the front desk staff while trying to be helpful have relatively weak English skills. Always patient, I often had to ask the person I was trying to to speak with to find me so... Read more

The hotel and shopping mall in which it is embedded is filled with masterpieces from renowned artists such Dali, etc. We enjoyed the breakfast on the 16th floor overlooking Beijing, the tea ceremony and the cocktail in the evening. This hotel is amazing for multiple reasons: 1. The design - Outside, front desk, elevators, bars, rooms, floors, restaurants - everything pops and makes your jaw drop. We loved the different themes of each floor. Our room and terrace had furniture that I would put in my own house. The little extra touch of elegance with the plush towels and robes just added to the overall appeal. On the 16th floor there was a free candy bar that was well stocked. Stayed at this hotel for a couple days during a trip to Beijing. It's decorations and environment are very modern and good looking, the service is also stellar. Love the design of this hotel. You don't feel like you are in China if you know what I mean. Reasonably priced for the quality you get. Rooms are spacious and you will appreciate the attention to detail mostly thanks to the designer's contribution. The only bad thing was the bath towels weren't the plush and fluffy hotel quality kind. They are the one thing that felt like China... thin and hard. We stayed at this hotel for 3 nights. The hotel has modern styling, spacious rooms and hallways and surroundings decorated with contemporary art. The staff is mostly friendly and helpful. As with other hotels in Beijing breakfast is included, and the hotel provides both European and Chinese style breakfast. Complementary afternoon high tea is also available for guests. A negative was on a cloudy morning we asked to borrow two umbrellas from the front desk, and were demanded a 600cny refund... Read more

Unique place showing modern and contemporary art, with each floor has its own style. The service was perfect. The perfume and background music gives a very relaxing feeling. The adjacent mall has nice stores, fine restaurant, and a French bakery,

This hotel is located inside the upscale Parkview Green building, containing a shopping mall on the lower floors. Reception is located on the ground floor, with rooms on the upper floors. It's in an area close to many embassies. The building is modern, and embellished with modern art throughout. Our room was equipped with all manner of conveniences. Power drapes, massage chair, uber fancy toilet, etc. The level of service was very high, from the front desk, to the bar, the breakfast area, and h... Read more

The hotel has a unique design and ambience inspired by art, from the lobby, restaurant and hotel corridors. Hotel facilities are state-of-the-art and impressive. The staff are friendly and provide for excellent service. I'll definitely stay there again.

Highly recommended to people who like art. The hotel is decorated full of art pieces. The hotel is in a huge mall where has everything included. Both the hotel and the mall are well-designed. For people like me, who are at their 20s, we really like to stay in a place where is convenient, cool, and has great service. Inside the room, there's an iPad for us to know about everything. The balcony is so big and cool. Eclat provides me everything and I love the place. Also the people in Eclat are nice... Read more

The interior Design is very special and allows the visitor to take a lot of nice pictures. It's a great hotel to relax after a busy day of sightseeing or work. A shopping mall and restaurants are in walking distance. The breakfast at the hotel (Asian and western) is very nice and also the bar is a great experience. Stay here when you are looking for a more individual design touch and want to have a comfort of a 5 Star Hotel!

I can't say enough wonderful things about this hotel - it's situated in a quieter section of Beijing, which was a welcome change for me, but still convenient. Its biggest draw, however, was its amazing art collection and gorgeous, thoughtful rooms. The art is breathtaking and the hotel is adjacent to a great mall that also has curated art throughout. The rooms are perfect in ways you never thought you wanted. I opted for a terrace room, which meant a terrace inside the mall - it's hard to ex... Read more

I absolutely love this hotel, everything from the check in experience to the room has been nothing short of spectacular. If you're interested in seeing some truly stunning contemporary art, the hotel has numerous pieces by both Chinese and foreign artists. I also got the chance to walk around some of the suites with Chris (manager) and he was able to show me the exquisite luxury of each one. We first visited the Miami suite which was decked out in more of a California surfer vibe than Florida b... Read more

I have the luxury of staying at many of the world's finest hotels but was awestruck at the beauty and luxury this hotel provided. There is magnificent artwork every where you turn and the room is exceptionally spacious with each having a private lounge big enough and beautiful enough to rival that seen in a small house. The staff is solicitous and always smiling. Breakfast was included and was quite good. If you do not see items to your liking on the tables, a menu is provided to meet your prefe... Read more

It's not the first time staying here , the reason coming back is neither the fancy art work display nor staff, only due to the convenience of location. The property and decor of the hotel is perfect, nevertheless, for a small & luxury hotel, staff matters most, i'm quite of disappointed that front desk staff are lack of enthusiasm and willingness to offer the warming attitude towards clients. It's more like speaking to a vending machine rather than real people.

To start with, this boutique hotel is full of original paintings and sculptures, including those from Dali and Andy Warhol, and ranging from modern Chinese to Surrealism. You can almost imagine being in an art museum as you walk along the hallways in the hotel. There is simply so much to see in the hotel. The experience is enhanced by a staff who is courteous and helpful, ready to accommodate your wishes when possible. The Chief Butler, Chris Ji, helped us settled in after a long overnight fli... In Beijing is another rising boutique hotel - Hotel Ă?clat. Classy is subjective, however, in this case it embodies it as it is replete with Salvadore Dali statues - some original, and some authentic replicas. Either way it is surrealist art that lines this hotels surrealistic ambience. A much needed breath of fresh air in a sea of cookie cutter hotels devoid of an image and sterile. Moreover their staff are always on the ready to accommodate any of their guest's needs and that culture is spread... Read more

As all other reviewers say, this is a unique and memorable hotel. I agree with all the comments made. Staff were super helpful, especially Chris (who gives you the tour), Max and various others at the front desk who went out of their way to help us organise taxis and get us to where we needed to. Important in a city where language can be a problem. Only a few things to watch out for: 1. Breakfast service - was slightly slow and sketchy and the first couple of days they kept getting our ord... The hotel is very modern and there are some technical gadgets that are really good. The rooms are very small and narrow. The price is absolutely not justified and the service is horrible. For the exceptional hotel selection, which offers Beijing, you should not book the hotel Eclat. It is not worth.

From the moment you walk into reception you know you are in for a treat. There is funky sculptures everywhere. The room had very cool inclusion. We stayed in a balcony suite which had a full living overlooking the very hip shopping mall. I had a very mixed experience at this hotel. Here is what happened. 1. The hotel itself is stunningly beautiful and interesting. Amazing art everywhere you look, including the grounds surrounding the hotel. 2. I booked a Deluxe Room with Terrace. The price was $350 per night. When I arrived, the room was stunning. However, the photos from the website are misleading. The hotel is depicted as a tower of glass, and the photos of the Deluxe room show a beautiful sky over the terrace. However in re... Read more
