This is an excellent hotel with excellent service. You cannot go wrong with them. Everything is clean and luxurious. Food is the only issue unless you are used to the local food I was very impressed with the service and staff support. They really can help make your trip to China most comfortable.

Thanks for the housekeeping staffs to make this happen. Club lounge service was great too. Servers always remember what you ordered and brought to you in timely manner. This is an outstanding hotel and from N.A. standards extremely reasonable for the caliber of the hotel. The staff is amazing. Sarah Winter and Murphy Mu - the front end management were so helpful. It is a little tricky to manage all the logistics in a new country and Sarah and Murphy were a wealth of information. The breakfast buffet has everything you would want and more. The hotel location is ideal and close to the subway. Be sure to use the Hyatt Car Service for the Airport Pick Up. ... Read more

We had a great stay at the Hyatt in Beijing! We were there for an adoption. The staff was amazing, accommodating and the rooms were beautiful! The beds are a little on the hard side but they will fluff them up with a few duvets for you if you ask. The restaurant there is amazing! Seriously - some of the yummiest food I have ever had! The location was amazing! Right near walking street and shopping areas. We were very comfortable in our suite!

We stayed at the Grand Hyatt for two nights - and liked it. It deserves to be in the top hotel list for Beijing. The location is next to a huge upscale shopping mall. Our room was clean and modern. The internet worked perfectly. I now have two Beijing choices: Fairmont and Grand Hyatt - both equally good. About the only thing that I did not like was the expensive Chinese restaurant in the hotel. The dinner food was lousy and the service was even worse. The waitress and her helper messed up our ... I've stayed here many times. The swimming pool on the bottom floor is AWESOME! It reminds me of Rain Forest Cafe with the crickets chirping and all the lush vegetation. It's hard to believe you are at a Hotel pool! There is a large upscale mall attached with a large food court and other restaurants so, it the weather is bad, you don't even need to get your feet wet....plus no chance of being hit but the wild drivers....lol!

We stayed in a suite on the club floor at the Grand Hyatt for about 7 days. Our room was fine, with a view over a nearby medical school that has attractive traditional Chinese architecture. We found the club room to be convenient and the staff, eager to please. Communication in English was a bit of a problem but everyone was pleasant and helpful. The Grand Hyatt is well run, comfortable and ideally located for the business traveller in Beijing. The lobby is always buzzing and a good place for informal meetings. The food is good and the service is excellent. My one quibble is that the hallways smell of heating oil in the winter.

We enjoyed our stay at the Grand Hyatt. Breakfast buffet was very good and the ambience was fine. We also ate at Made in China and enjoyed Peking Duck - the best we have had. The area is busy and is adjacent to a shopping center and other local shopping. The only real negative was an altercation just outside the hotel entrance with a women and some of the hotel staff. She was aggressive - but the staff punched and kicked her in full view of all the guests in the lobby- for almost an hou... Read more

The Grand Hyatt is conveniently located to all main attractions in the city. While there are many wonderful restaurants, the Grand Hyatt has a beautiful mix of restaurants with outstanding food options. The staff is courteous, knowledgable and genuinely sweet. It made my husband and my stay extremely memorable and comfortable. Thank you.

Very relaxing atmosphere, pool and gym outstanding and room very quiet. Breakfast with a very wide range of meals, but too expensive. Would recommend it again. Metrostation to be reached within five minutes to walk Rooms are very clean, although some of them are now looking a bit less modern.

Hotel is well located, and premises well maintained. Rooms are spacious although rather clinical and without any local identity. Bathroom is tight. Staff was professional and helpful, but both check-in and check-out took longer than necessary., note that this is a busy hotel. Breakfast was the least appreciated part. Confusing lay-out and quality of food average compared to other hotels of that level in Beijing. Overall a convenient business hotel one can book without taking risks, but should no... Read more

I found the staff to be very stuffy and unfriendly. They watch you as if you were going to steal something in the lobby Big High End mall below hotel ,convenient when raining. Room not as clean as i would have expected.

My second trip to the Grand Hyatt was just as good as the first. Excellent location for tourists - a pleasant 10 minute walk from the Forbidden City and Tiananmen Square, or around the corner there is a popular pedestrianised shopping street with a food market. The hotel itself is located above a large, modern shopping mall and is connected to the subway station. The lobby was always busy, and very clean. The pool and gym area is well maintained, the changing areas are large and well stocked w... Read more

An elegant hotel, with hundreds of rooms (not so big but comfortables), with discrete service. A nice breakfast buffet and a regular bar inside. Near for several attractions and dozens of restaurants and great stores.

I booked 6 nights at the Grand Hyatt Hotel Beijing as part of my holiday with my Partner. As a same sex couple we had no problems with the Grand Hyatt - we didn't have the awkward single versus double bed conversation. The facilities are fantastic, the staff are extremely helpful and the hotel itself is walking distance (15min) from the forbidden city etc. The indoor pool is a real treat. We booked a car to collect us from the airport. A person met us at the gate, escorted us through security an... Read more

My reservation was originally until Sep 1, 2016. However, since my business schedule was changed, I was planning to change my international flight. Before I changed my flight, I asked the front desk if the hotel will only charge me until the day I check-out, instead of Sep 1. The lady said yes, the hotel only charge until the actual date I check-out. Based on this, I changed my international flight. On Aug 26 just several hour before I checked out, I confirmed with the front desk, however, a gen... Read more

After a hectic and noisy day in the city, it is always nice to come back to the quiet rooms and relaxing atmosphere in the club lounge. The food and beverage service in club lunge has been decreasing over the years, but it is still at an acceptable level. The pool is probably the best in Beijing and the gym and spa facilities are excellent. The hotel is not new, but renovations and maintenance is keeping up with the time.

Awesome location, service and everything. This is the Best part of the city. You have got everything at your foot steps. I stay here a few days every month when I visit Beijing. Problem with your eye glasses right before an important meeting? Forgot laptop charger at home? Within 10 mins work, you can get all of these taken care of! On top of that, a walk through Forbidden City after 3:30pm as exercise is just heavenly, sun set right outside of Forbidden City is very beautiful. Grand Hy... Read more

A truly great hotel in an excellent location. This hotel is in the center of everything, just steps from Tiananmen Square and Wangfujing Shopping. Best of all though is the polite and unobtrusive service by the staff who all seem eager to delight their guests. Arrived early at 7 am from a long flight and while my room was not ready, they went out of their way to allow me to change and go on my tour. Got upgrade to Club level as a Diamond and the lounge is fantastic with excellent variety o... Read more

Grand Hyatt Beijing is well located in the heart of Beijing, close to all kind of shops, restaurants, and malls. Staff was kind and helpful all the time and promptly responded every request we had on our stay, even when they are not fluent in english, they really try hard to understand and help you. Breakfast is awesome, with so many options and very well served, there is no doubt you will have a great morning. Sauna, gym, pool and jacuzzi facilities are beautifull and were well mantained and... This hotel is in the perfect location if you are looking to visit the key tourist sites in Beijing. I had very high expectations of GH Beijing after an amazing experience at GH Hong Kong earlier this year, however was slightly disappointed here. The room we were allocated was tired and the room smelt of cigarettes (after requesting a non smoking room). Many of the staff did not speak English hence getting the room changed was more or less impossible. The pool was a stand out here, really lovely... Read more

Going on a holiday in Beijing needs a lot of planning, however with a hotel so close to shopping and some tourist locations sure makes it so much easier. The room is spacious and modern, the Grand Club staff are all so welcoming and pleasant. Dragon Air lost my suitcase and was not cooperative in getting it back to me asap, thanks to the Concierge staff who chased it up for me, I got it back much earlier than stated.

It was such an exceptional experience staying at this location. We were here for two weeks and we loved it. We were on the 18th floor right above the Club level. As diamond members, I can say our brand loyalty was rewarded. Libby and Gana in the club were both friendly, efficient and attentive. They took care of us, engaged us in conversation and genuinely enjoyed talking about our day and our experiences. The food was amazing every night. We only ate lunch out on the tow starting and finishing ... Read more

Stayed here for several nights during a business trip. We were busy during the day and into the evening, but when I returned to my room, it was like an oasis of calm and relaxation. Wish I had brought my swim suit, as the indoor pool and spa was spectacular!
