This is an excellent hotel with excellent service. You cannot go wrong with them. Everything is clean and luxurious. Food is the only issue unless you are used to the local food I was very impressed with the service and staff support. They really can help make your trip to China most comfortable.

Wangfujing pedestrian walking street is a block away. I got in a bit early than normal check-in; no issues and it was seamless. Nice, clean, and spacious room with a comfortable king size be... I requested to wrap the table corner to avoid the kid bumped his head, it was perfectly done after I came back to the hotel in the first night! Very detail oriented service indeed! Thanks for the housekeeping staffs to make this happen. Club lounge service was great too. Servers always remember what you ordered and brought to you in timely manner. This is an outstanding hotel and from N.A. standards extremely reasonable for the caliber of the hotel. The staff is amazing. Sarah Winter and Murphy Mu - the front end management were so helpful. It is a little tricky to manage all the logistics in a new country and Sarah and Murphy were a wealth of information. The breakfast buffet has everything you would want and more. The hotel location is ideal and close to the subway. Be sure to use the Hyatt Car Service for the Airport Pick Up. ... Read more

We had a great stay at the Hyatt in Beijing! We were there for an adoption. The staff was amazing, accommodating and the rooms were beautiful! The beds are a little on the hard side but they will fluff them up with a few duvets for you if you ask. The restaurant there is amazing! Seriously - some of the yummiest food I have ever had! The location was amazing! Right near walking street and shopping areas. We were very comfortable in our suite!

We stayed at the Grand Hyatt for two nights - and liked it. It deserves to be in the top hotel list for Beijing. The location is next to a huge upscale shopping mall. Our room was clean and modern. The internet worked perfectly. I now have two Beijing choices: Fairmont and Grand Hyatt - both equally good. About the only thing that I did not like was the expensive Chinese restaurant in the hotel. The dinner food was lousy and the service was even worse. The waitress and her helper messed up our ... I've stayed here many times. The swimming pool on the bottom floor is AWESOME! It reminds me of Rain Forest Cafe with the crickets chirping and all the lush vegetation. It's hard to believe you are at a Hotel pool! There is a large upscale mall attached with a large food court and other restaurants so, it the weather is bad, you don't even need to get your feet wet....plus no chance of being hit but the wild drivers....lol!

We stayed in a suite on the club floor at the Grand Hyatt for about 7 days. Our room was fine, with a view over a nearby medical school that has attractive traditional Chinese architecture. We found the club room to be convenient and the staff, eager to please. Communication in English was a bit of a problem but everyone was pleasant and helpful. This was my third stay at the Grand Hyatt in Beijing over the past six years. Quality venue, great location, within walking distance of shopping and pedestrian mall Wangfujing Street which has many shops and restaurants as well. This location also close to Forbidden City. Pool is fabulous. Breakfast buffet is very good. Rooms are spacious and comfortable.

Stayed @ Grand Hyatt Beijing in the summer. Room quality was great, service was excellent, really enjoyed my stay. Amenities are nice, the pool is very unique. Location is perfect, close to the center, walking distance to Tiananmen Square, Forbidden City, and more.
