I stayed in this hotel during my recent business trip. Hotel is perfectly located, close to the metro, shopping mall and art district. Rooms are very modern, spacious, clean and well equipped. Very good breakfast buffet with good selection of local and western items and the impressive fruit station.

Room was great. I was upgraded to the Executive Floor where we had essentially our own private dining room which served a great breakfast and supper and had snacks and drinks available all day long. close to airport in a city where traffic is a nightmare

Great location next to the Indigo mall and Jiang Tai underground station. Hotel has a modern feel & has all you need..... but unlike many top hotels you've got no access to your friends & family coz they don't like Google. I have been to many international chains and presumably they use their own international servers thus enabling your access to what is your usual way of life. But not at EAST. Almost but not quite there!

Having lived in Beijing for nearly a decade, this was my first staycation in East. The hotel is located in the north east of Beijing, and is known for its great bar, restaurants, and proximity to Indigo Mall and neighboring art districts. Didn't realize how close the mall was to the airport, subway and other attractions too. The room was spacious, well appointed, quiet and well designed. The amenities, water, shampoos, ipod in room, were all welcome additions. Our favorite was the bathtub tha... Read more

Check in was simple and easy, unlike some hotels I have experienced in Beijing. Been a few times to this city but Concierge gave me many suggestions that I never heard of before and was really happy about his suggestions. The room was clean and most of all very quiet. Will ask company to make sure they send me back to same hotel the next time Im in Beijing!

Stayed here one night on a business trip. The hotel is very new, modern and clean. The rooms are very slick - maybe TOO slick. It took me a while to figure out how to unlock the door and find the fridge and closet. My colleague commented "this hotel is definitely form over function", but I think its got pretty much every thing you need. Breakfast was good with a wide selection to keep everyone happy. The price is quite reasonable for a nice hotel in Beijing. It doesn't have the full bells a... Read more

as frequence traveller, I connected to hotels almost every other week among the world especially europe and asia. an experiences come to my conclusion, to be a good service provider this is must for every 5 stars hotel, but somehow you can feel it's just feeling like SOP instruction. nevertheless the Easter hotel is diffference, they are not just good service like any other area, but they are more to be your friend and always try the best to look after you. therefore "always good to be back to ... We are in and out Beijing quite often. East is the only hotel in Beijing We have chosen for the last four years. It is like a home away home. I would say what really makes East different from others, it is human touch. People are so friendly and helpful.

The East hotel is great. When I arrived without asking they upgraded my room. To a lovely room with a view. The mall attached to the hotel has many restaurants and shops to choose from. It is a very modern hotel that seems brand new. The staff could not be nicer.

East is a nice boutique hotel in the fourth ring outskirt area of Beijing. It has a very nice shopping mall linked to it with everything. But if you are doing business in the 2nd ring area, it is not a convenient hotel. Getting taxi is a bummer here and you must get concierge to call, and you have to wait 5 to 10 minutes. The rooms are nice but not as spacious as you want. Views are so so. It has an indoor pool and a steam room. I found the steam room to be flooded all the time and sto... Read more

This is my third stay at the East Beijing and on all three occasions I have had a wonderful experience. From the moment you arrive everyone at the East is extremely friendly and they all speak excellent English as a non-native speaker I find this very comforting. The location is also brilliant connecting the hotel directly to the underground subway via Indigo shopping mall this makes getting around Beijing very convenient. The facilities are second to none, with 5 star gym equipment; fantastic b... Read more

East Hotel is a welcome break from the international chain overpriced tourist beacons you find throughout Asia as well as from the sometimes shabby local equivalents. East is different and is an extremely liveable and convenient space for work and pleasure. There is a trendy mall connected to the hotel on two levels, the food is excellent, the bar is happening, and the spaces laid out for networking and not working are great. The guest experiences team, headed by smiling Summer, takes a personal... Read more

The high-tech environment and hushed tones in the lobby may scream ‚??business hotel‚??, but things like the music in the background and the style of hospitality speak volumes about the type of hotel EAST wants to be ‚?? the kind that balances work and life. My Urban View room was a spacious 30 square metres (320 square feet) and came with an eyeful of Beijing‚??s iconic skyline. My friend and I have been living on the EAST's executive floor for a few weeks while studying in Beijing. I can't speak on behalf of the other floors' experience, but this has been some of the best service we've experienced at a hotel. I like the room very much, but the service of front desk, it's not friendly. You are here to enjoy yourself to become part of the community and I think that this is part of the lifestyle that they have been promoting, to be a friendly hotel to make you feel comfortable, that is most important.

Having now stayed in almost all Swire Hotels in the region (the Upper House, the Opposite House), I can confidently say East Beijing represents the highest quality the Group has to offer. I stayed in the hotel for 3 weeks on the executive floor and the staff responded to my every need quickly and with noticeable warmth, engendering in me a feeling that I was staying in more of a private residence than a hotel. I've stayed at East five times in the past year. It's a cool, funky experience, warm hospitality and very comfortable rooms. Fantastic value. If you go are having some meetings in the neighborhood I recomend this hotel, but if you go for tourism is far away from the city. Having say that yoy have the "metro" very close to the hotel and it is around 35 minutes to go to the center. The hotel is really good, very modern with big rooms and very good service, price is afffordable if you compare with other hotel from the same level in the center. Service good, and you have a mall close the hotel.

Just a short overnight stay due to transit at Beijing Airport. Chose this hotel as it has an easy access to the airport, being next to the Airport Expressway, and yet not too far from the city, rather than staying at the Airport District.
