Xi'an is a great city, home of the Terra Cotta Warriors and this hotel is in a great location within the city walls. Excellent room, facilities, happy hour, breakfast. Our favorite feature of this hotel was Concierge Ivy Li, she is our new standard in customer care. Ivy was helpful, decisive, and her follow through was amazing. Don't miss walking the city wall. We would definitely rebook (mostly due to Ivy).

Hilton Xian is a good choice to stay in Xian. We stayed there for 4 nights. It is conveniently located. Everything is within walking distance. To the left is the interesting Yong Xingfang food street; to the right is the Muslim Street, and food is cheap and interesting. You can also walk to the East Gate of the Walled City as well as the Bell Tower and Drum Tower, symbols of the old ancient capital of China. The hotel room is very clean and spacious and the beds are most comfortable. We had a comfortable stay at the Hilton in Xian. The location was convenient for us. Main sites within city walls at walking distance for us, but could be far for some (15-30 min walks to bell/drum tower and muslim quarter). Prices for drinks, foods and other services excessive. So we did not try these. In town sufficient better priced quality restaurants available. WIFI very slow. Although a common problem in Chinese hotels, this was very slow and not fit for a 5* hotel.

My stay at this hotel in the center of Xi'an and being on the executive floor was a great choice. The staff was very helpful, fluent in English, and the facilities were 5 star. The location was also convenient to shopping. Several tourist sites were in walking distance. I recommend this hotel in Xi'an without any reservation.

My wife and I stayed 2 nights in this beautiful hotel. From entering the lobby, to be taken to the Executive Lounge for check in, the staff were extremely welcoming. Our room was very comfortable. There was an excellent range of items for breakfast and a wonderful display of cakes and pastries, with many guests taking photographs of this. Checkin was easy and quick, we then had to make our own way to our room, I expected to have been escorted there and shown the facilities. We waited and waited for our luggage to be brought up to us, so we decided to go out of the hotel and have a quick look at the immediate area, when we got back our luggage still hadn't been brought up. In the end we went down and asked for it to be taken to our room, which was then done immediately, not a good start. Room was OK, nothing special, it was clean... Read more

We stayed here for 2 nights on our China tour. The hotel was fine, no issues, but nothing really outstanding either. It didn't compare to other hotels we stayed at in Beijing or Shanghai. First, I lived in Xi'An for 6 years relatively close to the Hilton. Now I go back for business trips quite often as usually stay at the Hilton. It is the best option for my business trips and probably for most people's tourist trips. Location: Together with Sofitel (Normal & Legend), which is just down the street, these are the only 2 luxury hotels within the city walls. That means that you can walk around inside the city walls easily and get a feel for a more traditional life. You can als... Read more

Sizeable rooms very well fitted out with nice bath and a large separate shower. Everything was spotless. We were off the main street and looking into a central garden so very quiet. On one occasion they ran out of baguettes and it took almost 40 minutes to get some. We had dinner in the buffet restaurant one nig... Read more

We stayed for 2 nights at the Hilton Xian and really enjoyed our time in the city. Check in was quick and easy. Upon arrival, we were met at the entrance and our bags were immediately collected. The receptionist was very friendly and immediately upgraded us to the executive floor when we showed our hilton honors card. We also got welcome cookies and fruits. Our room was very comfortable and had two double beds. The bathroom is modern with rainshower. We found the concierge very helpful and we al... Read more

This hotel in Xian has the most wonderful lobby. Our room was very comfortable and had an amazing bathroom. Instead of a wall it had a window into the bedroom. Luckily it had an electric blind for privacy. The breakfast had everything you might want to eat and there were quieter rooms to eat just outside of the main breakfast room. The only downside to this hotel was the service. It took ages to get served in the bar even with several people serving drinks and not all of us got the nibbles e... Read more

We stayed at the hotel for 3 nights. The hotel manager made great efforts to ensure we had satisfactory experience during our stay: we are pleasantly surprised that the room was set up with an extra bed for our son without us requesting it, and very much appreciate her giving clear instructions to the taxi drivers on our behalf. The staff in the club lounge were very attentive and provided personal service when we were there (very much appreciated.) We also liked the a la carte restaurant on th... Read more

The Hilton Xi'an offers a level of service that very few European hotels can compete with. We were welcomed on arrival by the guest service manager Eva Wang, who upgraded us to an Executive package thanks to my HHonors membership. Eva was extremely efficient and helpful and made us feel at home right away. The Executive lounge was an oasis of calm in an otherwise very busy hotel (our stay coincided with Golden Week in China) and the staff were attentive without being intrusive. Aside from the ta... This hotel is off the HOOK. We love luxury and this property delivered it at a great price. The first room I was given smelled like it had been smoked in so I call the desk and within minutes someone was at my door and took me to a very fresh room. Everythingg was perfect. The best of everything. We had to leave early both mornings so we didn't have time to eat the included breakfast. The staff had the kitchen prepare a take along sack breakfast that was just what we needed to start the day. Hat... Read more

We visited a few hotels in the Xi'an area, none stood up to the Hilton. That being said, this isn't the type of Hilton that will stand against some of the more luxurious ones within Asia. The staff were friendly and the lounge provided decent snacks and drinks. If you're only staying for a couple of nights, it's not a bad place for your homebase.

Hotel looks an average Hilton hotel we just had a few issues which made our stay not very good. The room needed some work it looked the worst for wear, the electric curtains did not work, switch covers had fallen off, the room was cold we kept asking for it to be fixed in the end we got told to rap ourselfs in a blanket as rooms can only be cooled they cannot be heated. On check out we had to get the room searched to made sure we had not taken anything, this was a first for me, the person search... Read more

I stayed in the Hilton Xi'an for 2 nights in September. The stay was excellent from the ample buffet breakfast, comfortable beds, well equipped fitness center, and sparkling clean bathrooms. The central location made it easy to walk around town. Don't miss the dumplings and seafood across the street from the hate. The hotel personnel were helpful with requests such as the Wi-Fi. You couldn't ask for more.

Hotel location is around northeast of Xi'an city, close to Yong Ning Fang, streets for delicious foods with Tang dynasty feel. The services of front desk, concierge, lounge and breakfast are all great, deserves full score. Front desk led us to the lounge for brief rest, and brought luggages to our room. The lounge staff is kind and helpful, proactively called to see the check out time and arranges breakfast at front desk when we left early. Fully recommend Hilton Xi'an and we will come back.

My stay in Hilton Xi an as a Diamond member was memorable, one of the best experiences in the Hilton chain. Special recognition for Raven and Victoria, who work in the Executive Lounge. Both had a very warm and efficient treatment for me. Very comfortable rooms, excellent breakfast and efficient staff.

We recently spent a few days in the Xian Hilton, and I cannot recommend it highly enough. Everything about the hotel is excellent, but especially the staff. Unfortunately I fell ill whilst I was there, and Kitty who works on the front desk was fantastic. Nothing was to much trouble, and she made our stay as good as it could possibly be. We left and later I discovered I had lost my wedding ring. The hotel searched and found it, and Kitty and Ben worked to get it back to me . They really went abov... Read more

This was the second time we have stayed at the Hilton. I just don't understand negative reviews of the hotel. The people are lovely, and the hotel itself is stunning. Several staff members remembered us from our first stay, which surprised us. If you like to walk, you can easily get almost anywhere in the city. You can easily walk to the train station to get the bus to the Terra Cotta warriors. The danger in doing so is the great street food on the way. Impossible to resist. The staff a... Read more

We stayed for 4 nights at the Xi??an Hilton in the middle of an 8-week trip throughout Asia. We have seen many high-end hotels in Asia but we were unexpectedly blown away by this Hilton hotel. a. Location: this hotel is located right in the heart of the old city, a few hundred meters away from the east gate. Although there is a subway station close by, we decided to walk from the hotel to most of the sites we visited in the old city. A good way to really feel the city. You will be in the cente... My husband, mom, and I stayed here for 3 nights and we were extremely satisfied with the service, the staff, the room, the executive lounge, the cleanliness, and the abundant variety of breakfast. When we arrived, they graciously welcome us to their hotel. They gave us a couple of bags of treat. The bell boy brought up our luggage and the concierge escorted us to the room (that never happens). In our room, there was a plate of fruit and dessert waiting for us. The concierge went over some... Read more
