This hotel is clearly under maintained, feels dirty and definitely cheap.
People in the front desk and everyone working here is extra nice.
Feels like this international chain has a Chilean taste and budget in housekeeping.

Great neighborhood for sure and easy to walk and explore the colorful Valparaiso
The room was basic but clean and I had a great view of the harbor. Staff was a little slow checking me in but other than that they were very helpful.
WIFI worked good and they have two computers for you to use in the lobby

After disembarking a South American cruise, we decided to spend a night in Valparaiso before heading to Santiago. As my elderly mother has some mobility issues, we wanted somewhere that was central and not in the hilly neighbourhoods of Valparaiso. We chose to stay at the Ibis Valparaiso which was centrally located on one of the main thoroughfares of the city, Av. Errazuriz, and a short taxi drive from the cruise terminal. It is located two blocks away from Plaza Sotomayor and within walking distance to 3 funiculars or Ascensors. The hotel backs onto the busy port, so the views are either of the workings of the port, the harbour or the city. As with all hotels in the Ibis chain, it is a no-frills hotel. Rooms are basic but large - the beds were comfortable, the rooms were clean and the wifi was strong. We had a problem with our shower door, and their service promise was to respond within 15 minutes was kept. They couldn‚??t repair the shower door right away, so moved us to another room with a better view! There is a shopping mall a block away with a supermarket where you can buy water, fruit and snacks. There are a few restaurant options in the neighbourhood, but most seem to cater to locals rather than tourists. We had dinner in a local bar and were the only tourists in the restaurant. We were later told by a guide that Valparaiso can be a bit dangerous at night, so we were happy to not have to venture too far from the hotel. While a bit more expensive than a typical Ibis, it is still a good value option. We saw many of our fellow passengers had also booked at the Ibis. We would definitely stay here again when we come back to Valparaiso.

We had 1 night here before going on a cruise. For 1 night and for the price it was ok, but for any longer I would recommend spending a little more to have a little more comfort. Our room was clean and although they were extremely busy, checking in and out was very quick and easy.

I like the cleanliness of the rooms and great view of the harbor, but the front desk staff need to be friendlier and more aware when there is a line up of guests. The breakfast had good variety but the eggs were cold and watery. The location was great! About 2 blocks to Sotomayor Square and another block to Artillery Ascensor. Good restaurants within walking distance.

Booked a two night stay at the Ibis and felt happy with my stay.
Bed was good, room was a good size and the bathroom was adequate.
No fridge in the room, but has a safe.
Basic toiletries provided (no shampoo or conditioner). And towels aren't the greatest.
Overall you get what you pay for and this is worth the coin.

As with all Ibis hotels we put up at in Chile, the rooms ( not very spacious we must admit) and bathrooms are spotless .But in my opinion, for the price, I am quite satisfied .Breakfast keep you going for the day and is real decent.
Our room was facing the bay and at night, the view was magic.
We did not find the area that unsafe. One has to be careful when one strolls around the very poor port area .

Stayed one night before a Cruise. Ideal location for cheap over night . Great value for money,. Staff were helpful, spoke good English. We had a quiet room spotlessly clean with en suite shower, but if you were facing the busy street or docks it could be noisy. .
Ibis ValparaisoStraightforward, clean hotel (and Valentina was amazing!)

Amazing location, easy to get to the hills, harbor, and great restaurants (the best are in the cerros). Room was always very clean, however housekeeping forgot to put on a sheet twice of our 4 night stay. The best part of this hotel was Valentina. She is a true asset to your hotel. Always kind, so patient, and full of knowledge of the area with good recommendations. Always welcoming with a smile. Thank you Valentina and Ibis!

Thumbs up for the view we got after asking to change the room.
Too many people on the reception upon arrival and the receptionist still managed to pick up the phone during our check in while 3 others were looking at her.
Breakfast standard Ibis
The beds are not the same as in Europe.
Some silicone in the shower would be nice.
Still waiting for the points to be credited on my card Le Club AccorHotels.
