A gorgeous hotel located about 15 min walk from "The Tower". A little on the pricier end with very friendly staff. Great views of the mountains and the city. We were also told by locals this to be one of the best hotels in the city. Everything was great except for the tiny pool. VERY IMPORTANT: If you are going to take a cab, hail it from the hotel and do ask to be dropped of at the entrance of the hotel. Cabbies in Santiago (4 out 5 we took) unfortunately cheat tourists by trippling the meter... Read more

We stayed here for two nights. It is located in the high end, hotel-filled Las Condes neighborhood. The hotel's main entrance is actually not on Isidora Goyenchea. When you enter on Isidora Goyenchea, you feel like you are entering an office building and have to go up to the 4th floor to check in. There are multiple elevator banks, which is confusing and was not explained to us at check in. The hotel is luxurious though some of the decor in our room seemed quite worn. We stayed over the week... Read more

Excellent and trendy hotel. I loved the decor of the rooms, and especially the bathrooms with no shower doors and a separate toilet room, as well as a humongous bathtub. The hotel has at least two excellent restaurants. We went to Osaka which was outstanding. Breakfast is excellent as well. Beds extra comfortable and rooms nice and dark with the curtains closed. Towels large but a bit hard Excellent WiFi. On the down side - there could be more lighting in the room. We booked two Spectacular ro... Read more

I spent three nights at the W and it met my expectations for the price point. Very trendy, in a nice area that has quite a few options for dining and walking distance to two malls. We had a wonderful king room and it was spacious enough with a nice large bathroom. Make sure you get to the pool early if you want a seat in the shade. I think the hotel just lets anyone come up and use the pool and have lunch so it becomes crowded very quickly. I noticed what looked like students just studying and ... Read more

I travelled from Canada with a buddy of mine from the States - we got to stay here on his points. As expected, the ambience, the room, and the service was excellent. However, what made this exceptional was that one of the staff, a Senegalese guy named Bamba, made the extra effort to help drive our rental car to the closest gas station and facilitated navigating the local area with much greater ease. It was really nice and they went out of their way despite the fact that I'm sure they knew we ... Read more

Advertised and heavily promoted as the best hotel in Santiago it was found to be no better than average. Expensive, but average. There is better for cheaper in Santiago. My wife and I stayed for a special New Years Eve and found that, to get to reception from the basement carpark required using 2 seperate elevators, it may have been easier but signage didn't suggest it. Then, after checking in (the desk staff were very helpful and fully bilingual another elevators was required. Subsequent tri... Read more

With SPG Platinum status, we were able to get our room upgraded to a suite and this was definitely worth it! With a beautiful huge living room and an equally big bedroom, an open bath tub to soak in while watching TV and great proximity to the city center, this was one of our most memorable places to stay. The pool on the rooftop with great music and beautiful city views, with the mountains in the distance, is a must do!

Might not be the nicest but definitelly the trendiest hotel in Santiago with a nice roofdeck and several restaurants. Located in El Golf part of Las Condes which is one of the nicest and most European-like parts of town. The room (thier most simple category) on the 10th floor was great and the customer service was very attentive and pleasant. Hotel has a nice fresh scent and although not new, has a new clean feel to it. View from the roofdeck is amazing on a nice day (panorama of Santiago an... Read more

What a disappointment was our arrival in the hotel. We expected a W hotel, like Amsterdam, las Vegas... But we got a worn out W hotel. Not very clean, neither the rooms, nor the rooftop bar. Everything a bit damaged, not really attractive. But the worst was the guy at the night reception, he lied to us, that the rooms where next to each other, he told us the hotel was full, so he could not change anything etc etc. Worst reception ever. We complained to the hotel, and the offered us a better roo... Read more

The hotel common areas are gorgeous and the staff are friendly- made our stay so much better. If you've stayed at a W, you know that you're going to pay for everything- breakfast, wifi, etc. Nothing is complimentary, even in a country where those things are standard. No problem with us, we expected it. What I wanted out of this hotel was the pool on the roof, which did not disappoint. However, I was extremely disappointed in our room. We stayed in a cool corner on the 9th floor, which was horren... Read more
