The search is over ‚?? I‚??ve finally found my Santiago hotel. Up to this point, my favorite South American city has been lacking a go-to hotel. From Las Condes to Providencia to center city, each hotel has been missing something. Enter Hotel Ismael 312 which brings class, value, and location under one roof.' One block from the Metro station, the hotel is ultra-convenient to just about everything. The hotel sits amongst a block of apartments just off one of Santiago‚??s finest parks. The f... Read more

I just spent the last weekend at this hotel. It has handsome modernistic decor with some very interesting art on the walls. In particular the 9 story mural opposite the elevator. there is a small roof top pool and patio. Great location; everything of interest is in easy walking distance. The staff was very welcoming and helpful and spoke good English. We arrived early Saturday and were given our room early. This was greatly appreciated because we had been traveling overnight and gave us an oppor... Read more

In this small cosmopolitan hotel. Friendly, helpful and English speaking. We had a room on the Main Street not facing the park which with hindsight could have been changed but as we were out and about and had only 2 nights here was not a game changer. The bathroom with attractive frosted glass was well planned, the toiletries more than adequate and the bed was comfortable. There was a dead rose which did not get any livelier in a vase on the desk but we would certainly return if the need arose. ... Read more

Stayed here for 2 nights. Could not fault the friendly and inviting staff. All day lunch was a nice touch, altho finding out that what was on the menu was not necessarily available was not so great. We had a 6th floor room on the side of the road which is busy and noisy so a park side room would be preferable especially if you are, like me, a country girl unused to city noises and an exceptionally light sleeper. The food was good (not fantastic) and the coffee passable for a coffee snob like me.... Read more

We can't say enough about the wonderful staff! Everyone was so helpful and fun. They were accommodating to our every need. The corner rooms, garden side are lovely with amazing views of the Andes. There was water damage in the rooms from the design of the showers. It was noticeable but did not take away from our stay.

We recently stayed at the Hotel Ismael 312 with our 3-year-old daughter. The location of the hotel is perfect (it's across from a park with a couple of art museums and a playground, and not too far from a metro stop), the staff was helpful, friendly, and courteous, and the room was modern and clean. As other reviewers have mentioned, the bathrooms don't lock and are only separated from the room by frosted glass. While these features don't make the hotel ideal for family travel, it is the perfect... Read more

My husband and I were thrilled with our choice of Ismael 312 for our five nights in Chile. It's a first-class boutique hotel -- great location, elegant design, friendly and helpful staff, exemplary service, good breakfast. We loved walking to restaurants and shops in the lively nearby neighborhoods or taking excursions to sites throughout Santiago on foot or via the subway and then coming home to our comfortable room overlooking the beautiful park and Cerro San Christobal. The hotel staff were really nice during my stay. However, the invoice and receipt they gave me had mistakes on dates of my stay. I sent 4 e-mails - I was so appalled by their response - they said that they charged correct amount, and did not take responsibility on their mistake on details in my invoice. If this didn't happen, I would have given them 5 stars review. However, if they cannot produce correct invoice, that's a big fail.

This was one of my favorite hotels ever. The location was central; it was super comfortable and beautiful; the breakfasts were delicious; and the manager, Jose, was so pleasant. Our flight left at 7 pm, but he let us stay in our room until it was time to go to the airport. He also gave us a great restaurant tip of Bocanariz, a great wine bar near the hotel. The staff was so friendly and helpful, too. This is what a hotel should be! I can't wait to stay there again. We had a park view, which I wo... Read more

I stayed a month in hotel Ismael 312 through july/August. The staff was really nice and always ready to help. The shower is great and the room is nice. The location is the best since many good restaurants are at walking distance. If you enjoy the Chilean night life bellavista is just around the corner. I think staying in this part of town is a lot more fun than staying in las condes. I would highly recommend this hotel to everyone visiting Santiago.

I got to the hotel and they said they had no space although I already paid for it and reserved in advance, they said the only solution they had for me was to send me to a hotel a 35 minute walk/ 15 minute cab ride away. Not even in the same neighborhood. I didn't even get to pick the hotel, it was a fait accompli. And I got in at 1010 so I ended up in a totally different neighborhood that I didn't want to be in, in a hotel I didn't want to stay in. This hotel is a scam.
