This is the only hotel at SCL and people may not have a choice. This hotel is below the standards of a Holiday Inn Brand. Key card was not working and room numbers are confusing between the wings. The bathroom (shower only) is disgusting as the tiles have stains. Guests stay at this hotel because they are tired and need a layover for next day flight. The hotel does not help. It took me about one hour to check in, go to the right wing to find my room and resolve the key card issue. I arrived at ... Read more

We had an early flight the next day so opted to stay at the Holiday Inn at Santaigo Airport overnight. It was a comfortable room and we received good service. There was a problem when the hot water stopped working, but we eventually overcame that and were able to bathe. We dined in the in house Chilean restaurant- and had a very good barbeque with excellent wine for a reasonable price. We were keen to have a swim in the pool but were required to buy a bathing cap each in order to do so, so gave ... Read more

This Holiday Inn is just accross the road from the airport building - you can't get any closer to the airport! The location is such a bonus because Santiago airport is quite far from the city and the taxis are rather expensive. It's chaotic at the airport arrival with all the taxi drivers wanting your business and they will rip you off whenever they get a chance. Therefore it feels really good to walk out of the airport and straight into the hotel. The beds are very comfortable. The room spotle... Read more

I was generally quite impressed with the fit out of the property. There are some great individual elements, though don't ever forget your keycard, you would be stranded without it. After a long flight stuff around, the airline presented me with some food vouchers and it would have been amazing to use these as a room service option, but no, you have to eat downstairs. Having to eat 3meals here with the length of the over lay, the vegetarian options are very limited, which is a shame as the balan... Read more

Checked into this hotel because of the need to depart at 2am morning flight. Excellent locations, friendly service with most staff speaking good English. The room I was given was facing away from the terminal building and despite part of the room still facing the runway, there was no sound at all of any take off and landing. Very good sleep and sound proofing. Room is large and bright and nicely layout. Will be good to have a water heater jug instead of just a coffee maker. 2 bottles of compl... Read more

We have been in and out of this hotel a number of times over a few years. Apart from easy location regardless of time of arrival it is incredibly comfortable and well managed. Given they have a monopoly for accomodation they go to a lot of trouble to provide good service and thoughtful things such as comfortable lounge while you wait to go to airport for your flight. It is only since I have been using other airport hotels in South America such as Lima that also have a monopoly that I appreciate ... Read more

Nicer than any Holiday Inn I have seen. Price is slightly on the higher end, but still competitive for an airport hotel. Front desk staff was great, Had to store bags as flight came in early morning, they kept bags in secure room for no extra charge till check in time. Hotel is attached to the airport, short walk to international and domestic terminals. Very Clean and Modern, Newish building. Free WIFI, good connection speed.

The HI at the airport is a regular stay during trips to Santiago. A crosswalk away from the airport terminal, its quite convenient. The hotel and its rooms are quite nice, but more important to me is customer service. This hotel excels in this area, especially Elizabeth Silva who works in reception. It is great to arrive to a familiar face who recalls your name and takes an extra effort to ensure your stay is a positive experience. I will continue to return! Thanks!!

I stayed here many times when I spend few hours in chile and need a good base for a shower, some food and sometimes a quick nap after a long trip. Friendly staff. Good breakfast. Better option in those cases than staying at the city Just cross the street in front of the airport and you are there. Not a typical airport hotel. It has clean and fresh rooms, it is quiet and the food is decent.

I stayed there only one day (stopover), and the hotel can be reached very easy (walking distance from the terminal). The staff is very friendly and (mostly) English speaking. There is a nice bar and lot's space and chill out. I experienced trouble paying with my (Dutch) MasterCard and MaestroCards, so make sure you have a back-up plan to pay the restaurant or bar (cash or maybe VISA?).

The bad: I found the staff unfriendly, but I realize that's a subjective experience. The ugly: the food was horribly overpriced for the terrible product they served. Given its unique availability, the service was good and everything was clean and tidy (being a newly constructed hotel). For the price one may expect more, but its location cannot be replaced. We stayed there for a few times waiting for a local connecting flight, and had to pay full price for the night for staying a few hours. Given the lack of a proper lounge in SCL, this would be the only option. So if you are a party of 3+ people, this would be a good choice. But it would be nice if the ho... Read more

My wife and I traveled to this hotel as a stop on the way to the Atacama desert - service was rude and unhelpful, rooms are mediocre, only redeeming quality is the location. Stay in the city where the hotels are much nicer, if you can.

You can just walk across the street in front of the arrivals area and into this Holiday Inn, a modern, clean, convenient place to stay if you arrive very late or wish to sleep there before an early departure. This hotel is very modern, well-appointed, with clean, comfortable rooms. It is a bit pricey, due to its location. Reception can be a little hectic if there are a lot of arrivals, but front desk staff is friendly and efficient. The breakfast buffet is decent, nothing spectacular, and wa... Read more

The Inn is directly opposite the main airport terminal so very convenient for those changing flights. It was very comfortable & quiet. Very large room with good lighting. Room was too hot even when air conditioning was set on -10. Nicholas, the trainee receptionist was exceptional - extremely enthusiastic and helpful. The dinner was good but the waiter only average. Breakfast was ok, but no museli/granola available.

My wife and I have stayed at this hotel on several occasions and would do it again. It couldn't be any closer to the airport. The rooms are very comfortable with great beds and the hotel has a great pool and gym. The restaurant serves good food and you can print out your boarding passes and other things on the many computer terminals. Getting into Santiago is easy with a trip on the Centropuerto bus.

As others point out, the location can't be better--just across the street from the international departures check-in. The hotel itself is much better than the average Holiday Inn. Stylish interior with a great bar, restaurant serving excellent food, and very sound-proofed (generic) room with comfy beds. We never heard the faintest sound of an airplane. Free WiFi worked perfectly. Service was cordial and helpful. Not everyone spoke English, but if we needed help, they found someone who did... Read more

We slept here as we had a lateish arrival and an early connecting flight to Rio the next day. Appears to be relatively new construction so the fitout was recent, clean and modern with the room layout standard for hotels but very sizeable with more than ample room to move about and rearrange two large suitcases. Restaurant for breakfast offered a very good selection. On another flight we utilized the bar and barfood as we had a 5 hour wait. Fantastic seafood tapas at a very reasonable price were ... Changed room 3x, outlets didn't work anywhere in my room. Difficult to meet up with Uber drivers due to the location, it's awkward. Food is absolutely terrible. I'd stay somewhere else in the city if you're going to be there longer than one day.

Stayed overnight for an early connecting flight THE GOOD: Super convenient situated directly across the road from the airport. Clean room with 2 double beds and bathroom is spacious and functional. Was able to check in early due to availability, room and location suited our needs as we had an early flight to Easter Island. THE BAD: A bit pricey Would I stay again or recommend? Yes

Five stars, not because the hotel is ultra-luxurious but because it rates as serving its purpose 100%-a comfortable stay right at the airport. The rooms are modern, very comfortable beds, showers no tubs (which seems to be a trend these days). Good desk-tops for printing boarding passes. We thought the restaurant food was very good, and after hours the bar does food. Check-in and out was easy. We had arrived from Easter Island fairly late and were leaving for the U.S. the next day, so the altern... Read more

This hotel is clean, modern, and has all the standard amenities. Check in/check out was convenient. Breakfast had a lot of variety. This is obviously dependent on the hotel's bookings, but we were able to push our check out to 12pm with no charge. It may be pricey, but you honestly don't think about that once you experience the convenience of being a few steps away from the airport (Santiago traffic can be rough).

Pricey transit-hotel at the airport. Convenient for early flights. Distance to town centre is 20 minutes. Stayed for 2 nights. Nice beds, bathroom with powershower. Restaurant open till midnight. Good food. Breakfast-buffet ok. Had to pay for a cup of cappuccino during breakfast. Tasted awful. When asked if the cappuccino was ok, there was no reaction to our negative response. Not only bad manners, but also bad service.

I stopped here twice going to and from Australia to Brazil. It is just opposite the terminal arrivals area - very close but you will get wet if it is raining. The hotel was reasonable price and had an efficient and friendly check-in service. I could check in when I arrived at 1 pm as my room was ready. You do have to enter Chile through customs and immigration as the hotel is outside the airport. This means that there is one major disadvantage if you are Australian and perhaps one or two ... My experience of Holiday Inns in the UK has been quite mixed, so I was not filled with great anticipation or excitement when needing an overnight stay at Santiago airport en route back to the UK. However, I could not have been more wrong! The hotel is a 2 minute walk from the terminal, great check in process, very well appointed rooms, good linen on comfortable beds, and big, powerful walk in showers. As you would hope, the rooms are actually sound-proofed against the noise of the planes - in... Read more

The Holiday Inn Santiago is an excellent hotel located right in front of the airport. It is awesome for business purpose. The installations are perfect. Great restaurant, awesome lobby and bar area. We stayed in this hotel on 3 different stays as we used Santiago as the base for our trip in Chile. The price might be step but considering the location and service we received, this hotel offers good value for the money. We just walked out of the terminal and then crossed the street to reach this hotel. The service was excellent. I have to g... Read more

Our tour group booked us a day room here before our evening flight back to the US. What a pleasant surprise. The room and bathroom was very clean and comfortable. The lounge/bar area was very spacious and modern. We enjoyed the sauna and indoor pool for a while. Definitely a nice respite before a long flight home and way better than having to hand out uncomfortably in the airport for hours!

The rooms did not have a refrigerator . They did not have self service laundry. The hotel laundry service was obscene in cost. The food was fair but limited. the best quality for this hotel is it is 30 yards from the airport entrance which is located directly across from the hotel, but you are far from downtown.

Extremely helpful, friendly, & excellent English. Rooms are clean & tidy, have a tv and safe, and well soundproofed. No noise from airport at all. Food at hotel restaurant was excellent. This hotel is conveniently located in front of Santiago's Airport. We stayed for about 10 hours in-between flights as we chose not to go to the city this time. Rooms are basic but comfortable and clean. We dined at the restaurant, which was okay, albeit being rather limited in terms of options. Overall a good experience and would definitely stay here again.

We stayed there for a single night in between flights and I must say that for an airport hotel it is very good, super convenient and meets the expectations. Besides that, it is located less than 3 minutes walking from the airport entrance (just across the street). When we got there I was a bit annoyed because there was a queue for the check in that looked like a busy train station at rush hour (and it was almost 11:00 pm). Nevertheless, the 2 employees (definetly could be more) responsible for ... Read more

The service at the hotel was great particular Caeser who was was the barman/waiter. He was very polite and understood English. We took the airport bus into the city (16,000.00 return for 2 people). We stayed (2 adults and 2 children) twice at this Hotel during our 2 weeks in Chile; first before going to Easter Island and second coming back from Easter Island and before flying the next day back to Europe. We spent two or three nights in this Holiday Inn between various Chilean stays, and found it remarkably comfortable and very together about 04.00 hours check-outs and very early breakfasts. All obvious, but so unusual. Help with suitcases to the terminal buildings from the hotel, no problem. You can see that I think that this particular Holiday Inn has a lot going for it, compared to the usual!!

We stayed here because we had a short overnight layover and wanted to be close to the airport for our early morning flight. The hotel is walk-able to the airport (across the entrance), which was very convenient. The rooms were clean and comfortable, but no frills (which is fine for the short stay). As we had a late arrival in to Santiago, we just wanted a quick dinner and decided to eat at the hotel bar. Our bartender, Cesar, was wonderful and recommended a delicious bottle of wine.
