Nice property, excellent staff, 45 minutes away from down town so very different from 7 mile beach properties. We found it very relaxing good food and drink friendly staff. Very laid back the usual activities for an island vacation spot. Daily bus to downtown is easy to use but limited schedule.

I stayed here the weekend after St. Patricks day this year and loved every moment! East End was just what I needed! It was far away from all of the "touristy" stuff and tranquil. Not saying that I didn't have a blast...I met the best group of people visiting and locals! The cherry on the trip was a beach bonfire with a really great group of folks. Customer service is great, rooms are beautiful and, it's close to a grocery store and restaurants. Already have a trip booked again in August!

The place is in a fantastic location if you are looking for something with a more local flare. Definitely rent a car and enjoy all the island has to offer. Our arrival wasn't amazing like others experienced - the front desk employee that checked us in was luke warm and several other interactions with her were the same. The rest of the staff was super. All the units are ocean front and for sure request the first floor when reserving. Calls to the front desk were terribly slow, most required ... Read more

If your looking for an upscale hotel in a prime location, go elsewhere. This is more of a timeshare property and on the opposite end of the island. No civilization hardly...ugh! Food awesome though. Nothing off property within walking distance and no hotel shuttle. Had to rent car at hotel and drive to opposite end of island to find shopping, entertainment, etc. Every meal or every drink you must sign a ticket for and is tabulated. This includes tips. Unless you pay for the upgraded all-... Read more

The resort is truly a laid back vacation. There are no crowds, no one selling souvenirs. Guest services representative Archie was very helpful. Now the only negative thing is our check out wasn't so good. First the computer was down and we didn't have any form of receipt. It would be helpful to display a sign with us dollars vs. C.I. dollars ex. July 4th dinner was expressed to be $24pp but was really $35pp us dollars, being more specific on advertisement would have been greatly appreciated.

The Wyndham Reef Resort is a great place if you are looking for a quiet vacation to snorkel, relax at the pool or beach and do other water activities. The food at the bar/restaurant outside is delicious. The smoothies are great. The hotel staff are all very friendly. The 2 bedroom suite is very spacious and clean. For activities make sure you do the 7am stingray city snorkel trip with Captain Chris which you book through the hotel. Restaurant suggestions: Italian Kitchen (across the street) a... Read more

We stayed here for seven nights in the beginning of July. We rented a car as it was the same price as a taxi each way. Welcome rum punch at check in then received our wifi passwords from the Timeshare lady. Offered us Barefoot man and Stingray city for timeshare presentation but we declined and that was it, never heard from them again so no pressure there. Our rooms were top floor the furthest away from the lobby you can possibly get but amazing view, soft beds, fridge, toaster and microwave so ... Read more

We had a group of 12 including a teen, and 3 children under 3. They had daily activities for the kids like fish and bird feeding and one other activity. The reef offered rooms with full kitchens and a grocery store was located directly across the street. On this trip we used the all inclusive food program and they were very accommodating for our gluten intolerant member. Additionally there was a dive/snorkel shop right on site, which worked great for our divers. We were able to swim in one of th... Read more

Reserved here because we know Wyndham quality and were not disappointed. Nice rooms, fantastic views, customer-focused staff, good drinks and fun at the bar at night. Being on the East End of the island, it is nice and quiet. It is a short enough drive to get to Rum point for some action and not a ridiculous drive to get to the seven mile beach area.

Eight days of steamy hot and beautiful weather. This island had a lot of animals. Sting rays, turtles, starfish, iguanas and chickens. You must rent a car. It's a British island so you are on the left side of the road. Taxi's are $100us for any place you go. Car rental was $90 a day. (thrifty car rental) There was 4 of us. My husband, myself, daughter 15, son 13. We drove around the whole island. Turtle farm, was a bit smelly, but a must see. Starfish beach beautiful. Then we went to Spotts ... Read more

Our time at the Wyndham Reef was simply amazing! Our 2-bedroom suite was gorgeous & more than enough space for our family of 5 - the 2 full bathrooms really made the difference! The staff were friendly, warm & truly cared about providing the best customer service around. The all-inclusive package is a must! The food was delicious & available whenever you wanted to eat, not on their schedule. And, the adult beverages were to die for! Furthermore, I can't say enough about our concierge Archie Wh... This hotel on the east end is fine if you want a laid back place to chill. The hotel is also a timeshare resort and you get a low intensity sales pitch at check in. They back off fairly quickly when you say you're not interested. But it's mildly irritating. The beach is not great- lots of rocks. Wear water shoes. That said, once past the surf break point, you can snorkel and see an assortment of fish, including tarpon. As the resort has a mix of short term hotel users as well as timesharer... Read more
