This hotel was recently renovated. The room was very comfortable and well appointed. The room was quiet and the beds were very good. We had breakfast in the restaurant and the food was delicious and the service attentive. I will return to this hotel again. Parking in the parade is a challenge: tight quarters......my suggestion ....park on the third level.

Hotel is good overall. Had some run around to find pop machine on 4 th floor. Rooms relatively clean somewhat updated. Show some wear as this is an older hotel. Front desk was ok. Parkade stairs leak water all over if going to 2nd level parking. 2 Ned level meeting rooms are nice. Hot tub is a warm soak at best.

Sound was well controlled and the room and bed pleasant. Def will be a guest here again. Friendly staff and a pleasant stay. Hot tub had very low powered jets. Otherwise a nice little gym too. The restaurant had a nice hot breakfast.

I attended the newly renovated restaurant last night. Terrible menu terrible food. The people were extremely nice and very thoughtful. I will never be back. The tables are small so if you order an entree and wine with four people at the table there is no room for salt, pepper, or a water glass. You are constantly jiggling the plates around.

We loved the executive king room ! It had a comfortable sitting area with a sofa, chair, and coffee table. We were on the top floor and it was very quiet. We had bugs coming up through our bathroom sink drain but management sent someone up right away to deal with this issue. There are no towel racks in the bathrooms of these newly remodelled rooms. Germs grow when one leaves a soggy towel folded up so towel racks would be sanitary.

Stayed here last night on way home from long road trip. The rooms were very tastefully done and the hotel was newly remodeled. Very sharp and clean looking. The restaurant was awesome. I had a pierogi pizza that was good enough to die for! And the staff in the restaurant was the best service and friendliest I have had in years. Also the staff in the restaurant was very busy even though it was slow. They were cleaning and checking on us frequently. Very impressed. Usually when it's slow in a... Read more

Roomy for 2 parents 2 hockey players age 9 & 10 and hockey bags - need to air out every game. Typical HI from lobby to room. Stay many throughout year. Lots of plugs about desk and night table to charge overnight. Have 4 Iphones, 2 Ipads, camcorder, and laptop. Roomy washroom. Fridge store pop and other. Microwave. Grocery store across street. Many food establishments walking distance and 5 minutes driving distance. Only down, no breakfast and with family with kids needed.

We had a lovely stay in this hotel. The staff are very helpful and the amenities excellent. Breakfast buffet and menu very good. The big plus for us was the laundry - great when you are travelling distances and need fresh clothes. Location was good too as we could hop on the bus to go into town.

I stayed for for 5 nights as I attended a conference. After the first night I noticed a stain on the comforter. They changed the bedding when the room was cleaned. The hotel did not offer any extras for the restaurant down stairs. You would think that with 5 others from the same organization attending the conference, they could have received at one free breakfast coupon. On father's day I asked about the father's day special breakfast I saw advertised. The person who sat me stated it was not in... Read more

It was a clean hotel, but the customer service I received at check in was not the best. I had to check in late (11pm) and when I went to my room on the third floor with all my luggage my key card wouldn't work. I had tried it a couple of times when someone in the room yelled "Wrong room!". I left my daughter just outside the elevator so we wouldn't have to carry it all back to the front desk. The front desk clerk apologized half hardheartedly and seemed more angry that "someone" switched my ... Read more

Booked 3 nights through Priceline for business. Hotel was very busy during our stay. Room was typical Holiday Inn fare. Beds were comfortable with lots of pillows. Tv was a large flat screen with multiple viewing options. Bathroom was clean. Room was clean. Parking was close next door in a multi level parking garage. Gym was good. Been travelling so much lately that all the hotels seem the same. Location suited us. Nothing great or nothing really bad about hotel. Breakfast was a little pricey.

Situated on the Pembina Highway with easy access to just about any part of Winnipeg, this Holiday Inn, though not excelling on any particular dimension, provides reasonable accommodations in the mid-price range. The staff deserve praise for adjusting the days of my stay at no extra charge when I made a mistake on the dates I was to stay there. I am grateful for this consideration and flexibility. As with many towers, our 7th floor room was sealed, and the piped in air was lacking a little oxyg... Read more

On pasts stays this place is always quiet even when it is packed. Clean modern rooms just what I expected. Pool and hot tub are nice as well. I have not tried the restaurant but I don't stay in Holiday Inns for the food.

After a long day of driving this hotel was a welcome rest. We stayed only one night (long enough to sleep). Not a lot to say. The front desk staff were helpful and friendly. The room was clean and comfortable. What you expect from Holiday Inn.

We made last minute plans to stay overnight in Winnipeg. Pembina is usually pretty central for our needs so we chose to stay here for the first time. Great choice!! Very friendly people. Check in took 5 minutes max and the rooms and bathroom were immaculate! Will definitely be choosing to stay here again!!

I liked this holiday inn. It does not have the free breakfast, but has a nice dining room. The elevators are fast, front desk staff was courteous. Some days we had fresh cookies, some days fresh fruit, some days nothing. The motel seems to be over 20 years old, but it was quiet, clean, and comfortable. The parking lot was a pain-in-the-butt for my vehicle. I have an F-150 pickup, and the parking garage was awful. If you have a normal size chicle, it will probably be fine. On checking out, t... Three Family members met for lunch at the EnoBar +Kitchen of this landmark hotel on Pembina Hwy on Wed. Afternoon. The new decor of the Bar/restaurant stood out with Contemporary design and a sense of expectation of a hidden gem. We ordered the Charcuterie board to share, a delightful but double fisted juicy burger that comes with a selection of side salads, cheese swirls, aromatic amaretto battered Cauliflowers served with almond slices all served with our affable Server Brad. Our third stay in Winnipeg and once again an enjoyable visit. This hotel was genuinely nice, they have clearly upgraded it and so it appears new and modern. The rooms were very very nice, far better than most other hotels in this price range. Reception was a bit dull but pleasant nevertheless. The swimming pool was a hit with our children and it was genuinely nice for us too. The water was warm, the ambiance great and this hotel has set the bar for hotel swimming pools, in the city. This was a very nice hotel that has recently been renovated and was very close to our office in Winnipeg that we were visiting. Comfortable bed, spacious rooms and free wifi, which was a little sporadic. Breakfast is not included in the rate and you can do buffet or order off the menu. Showers had pretty good water pressure.

My wife and I have stayed here many times over the past 4yrs. This place has always been clean and comfortable. Staff has always been kind and courteous. We have also appreciated the breakfast served on the main level. Parking can be tricky here. Spaces can be tight when those with larger vehicles take up more space. We stay in room 810 and enjoyed our view to the south. Fridge, microwave, Keurig in the room, LG flatscreen, soft beds and firm pillows, and a really warm shower to begin the day! W... Read more

I heard from colleagues that this hotel was pretty run down, but they have recently remodeled it. I thought the remodel turned out very nice. My bed was comfortable, and everything about my room was quite nice, I was very pleased. I loved the lobby and also the restaurant. It had very good food and service, and was abuzz with different business groups. The location was great, as a first time traveler to Winnipeg I hopped on a random bus right in front and ended up downtown. Safeway is across t... Read more

I have stayed at this location quite often (27 nights in 2015, 11 nights so far in 2016). I'm an IHG Platinum member. This trip I suggested a business colleague also stay in this hotel. I booked on line through my IHG App and pre-paid for my room. When I got to the hotel, I was given a room on the third floor. First night was fine and provided a quiet, restful sleep. After that, it went down hill. A floor full of kids (sports team I believe) were placed on the same floor. Slamming doors, loud v... Read more

Had not stayed at this Holiday Inn since they remodelled. We were impressed with the new look. The room was clean and the bed comfortable. We had the buffet in the restaurant for breakfast. It was very good, the basics. I do recommend that you pay for the breakfast when booking the room as it is a good deal. An extra $2 if I remember correctly.
