Stayed Twice over one weekend while travelling to and from Winnipeg Alone. Staff was very friendly at check in and very informative. I grabbed a sandwich with fries and a beer at the lounge. The food was incredible and I would highly recommend the chicken club. The waitress was great and friendly too. Didn't use them but the amenities looked well maintained (pool, gym). Room was clean and up to date no issues at all, I thought it a bit strange that my second night when returning to Winnipeg ... Read more

This is a business class hotel. Nicely furnished, well appointed with great restaurant and facilities. Not a place to bring the young family on a budget nor the local hockey team which is perfect for those of us travelling for business.

I usually stay here when in Winnipeg. It is quite away from downtown but very close to the Bomber stadium. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The rooms are great, the beds are very comfortable. There is a bar and restaurant attached. The bar recently put in a second flat screen TV. I've offered had free appetizers at the bar during determined hours. The only knock I have on the room is that the curtains let in too much light for me. There isn't a lot around the area some limited restaurants... Read more

I would recommend this hotel for events at U of M or stadium as it is easy to get to (walking distance) and would eliminate any issues that comes with parking, etc. I found this hotel to be clean and comfortable. Pool area was ideal with ample tables. Enjoyed onsite restaurants, etc.

So it's 11pm, I zombie in from a long flight with work still to do and NO energy....and the person at the front desk checked me in with such a sunny attitude with speed and skill - really made my night and got me back to work. Spotlessly clean room - LOVE the contemporary washroom with the big stand up shower instead of old school bathtub. Love the hooks on the mirror as you enter the room and a ledge for your keys and stuff. Such a well designed room. Cool set up in room with a pull out ... Read more

The hotel is hard to reach from the street, especially if you are on the opposite side - you cannot turn into the hotel. You have to go into the parking lot next door, turn around and go back on the street to turn into the hotel. There is plenty of parking but the parking lot is tight and the stalls are narrow. If you go into the hotel on the south side of the building, there is no ramp and you have to deal with stairs and a fire door. I wish we would have been told this at check-in. We... Read more

I had dinner on June 18th at the Park Avenue Restaurant; I had ordered the Pork Tenderloin and after 30 minutes of waiting, the waitress (Ashley A) came to inform me that the kitchen staff had forgotten to prepare my meal. I was wondering what was going on; people that had arrived after me had already been served their meals and were well into eating them while I patiently waited for mine to arrive. The waitress said that it would be at least another 20 minutes before my meal would arrive; I the... Read more

I loved the place the front desk staff were helpful, friendly and very professional. The room was clean, quiet and everything was great EXCEPT the hotel restaurant. Sorry guys thumbs down. Poor food and service was the worst I've every encountered.

We stayed just one night after we arrived via plane and just needed a place to crash. For that purpose it is very good. Phenomenal bed. Blinds also perfect for allowing you to sleep throughout the day. Interior-decoration could use an upgrade for the price you pay. Electronics a bit old. All in all 4/5 - quite good.
