I am a pretty tough customer when going to new places. I am a loyal Country Inn and Suites client - where they know me by name and what I need and like. However,I needed to check out the Days Inn for my company as we will be having a meeting there in June. Overall it was an Average stay - nothing outstanding. The sheets and pillow cases had some stains and the room was averagely clean. It was quiet even overlooking a busy Winnipeg Street and the Airport. Breakfast was not ready by 7 the da... Read more

I came here for one night before a flight out the next day. Staff were all very friendly and efficient. The room was spotless, beds were comfortable. Even though the hotel is close to the airport we hardly heard the planes, and when we did it wasn't bad. Only thing I found a little odd was there were two breakfast start times; a 6AM start time for the continental, and then a 7AM start time for the hot breakfast. But I understand it can take longer to prepare, oh well. Either way, I will definite... Read more

Stayed here one night for early flight in the morning, five minutes to airport. Very clean. Nice clean pool that my son enjoyed. We were very early for breakfast but still were able to make coffee, toast etc. Free WIFI worked well. I would stay here again.

I have stayed at this hotel three times in the past couple months. I have always had a pleasant stay! The staff have always been very nice and hospitable and the breakfast has many options. The one thing I have noticed is that there are not any recycling bins in the rooms? Otherwise, I would recommend this hotel and I will continue to stay there when I visit Winnipeg!

Parking spaces were too small to prevent bumping the next vehicle otherwise no problems. Also signed up for Wyndham rewards several weeks ago but staff could not locate #. Window blinds were ineffective in room darkness

I chose to stay here because it was close to the airport, reviews seemed good, and complimentary shuttle and breakfast were included. The area itself is quite industrial and is hotel-heavy so it's not the greatest scenery, but again, I chose this hotel for its proximity to the hotel. I flew in at 9am and they didn't have a shuttle driver that early, but they have an agreement with Unicity Taxi. You can take Unicity Taxi and the hotel will give them a voucher. I thought this was really great!... Read more

The rooms are clean and comfortable with full amenities. It was close to the airport, restaurants and shopping. The treat for us was the personable front staff and the great food cooked up by the bartender/chef. We hated to say good-bye to them. They made us feel at home. Free wifi and parking is a plus not to be taken for granted today. As B&B owners ourselves, we know a good place when we find it.

Well it was okay, but not great. We were told our dog was welcome and had to pay a fee of $10 a night for dog, which was fine, but then we're put on 4th floor non- pet friendly room and was told later that night we had to move to the 1st floor which is what I asked for in the first place but was told they were full. Lounge was closed the whole time we were there.

I stayed at the Days Inn & Suites in Winnipeg from May 30 to June 5 and I have to say I was pleasantly surprised. The Staff was excellent, especially the evening staff. The rooms are large and very clean. The weight room has a treadmill and a bowflex but not much in the way of free weights, but for a week away from home it worked well. If you have kids the small waterslide will be a huge hit as it was with my daughter. This was my first stay in a Days Inn but after a very enjoyable week in th... Read more

I recently stayed a week in the Days inn by the airport in Winnipeg, All the staff that I came into contact with were friendly and customer service oriented which was nice to see. Our room was on the forth floor and had a nice view of downtown Winnipeg. The room was clean and comfortable. The morning breakfast was the standard that you see in most hotels but the eggs here tasted better than other places. Good Coffee as well. The hotel is close to the airport and shopping and any other plac... Read more

I had a short night to spend near the airport (arrival at 1AM and departure at 8AM) and the Days Inn with its free shuttle was the cheapest choice near the airport! It was also really good for the price I paid. - Quick check-in - Modern and clean Days Inn room - Breakfast really good for an hotel who offer it with their rooms. In addition to the regular continental they had also sausage, fries potatoes and scrambled eggs. - Quick check-out. - Shuttle: to the hotel: as it was late, I use a c... Read more

Excellent Hotel, very good staff well priced & located. However parking remains a problem with visitors to bar & other parking in disability parking. In winter people are allowed to park vehicles while they are on holiday outside Canada. No recycle program. Lighting in rooms bad - no overhead lighting.

I liked it. I got in on a late flight from Churchill, and there was only one person at the front desk. So getting checked in took a bit of time. But everything else was good. They had a good breakfast, and they had pretty good exercise facilities. I didn't get to use everything, and they let me keep my luggage at the front desk, as my flight to Mississauga wasn't until 3:45. Being so close to the airport, I expected a shuttle, but for less than $130 after taxes, you can't go wrong. A taxi... Read more

The hotel was in a great location but the noise all night was unacceptable, many many complaints were made as the group on the floor above was very noisy all night long next time I will know better and just call the police and not leave it to the hotel to control the situation. Breakfast was ok, beds were hard. No outside garbage bins so no place to dispose of dog doodoo bags I guess since most people don't bother to pick up after their dogs this hasn't been an issue? Price seemed to go up mu... Read more

We stayed here for two nights. For $106/night. It was a last minute booking and they matched the price that was on Expedia. This is for sure a 3 star. There is a mini fridge and microwave in the room and free breakfast in the morning. For a family of 2 adults and 2 children, it is a good deal. The cleanliness of the rooms need an improvement. There was a blood stain on the duvet....which actually doesn't have a duvet cover.... But merely covered with a flat sheet. There was a brownish colour... Read more

The hotel has wonderful management!!!!! The breakfast has hot and cold options. The evening front desk staff (T) was frustrated from the get go and we had to come down three times as our key didn't work. When we called down to the desk for the WIFI password she sternly told us the password and hung up with out a goodbye. The pool area is small, the railings to the pool are rusty and the hot tub was very dirty. The rooms are nice and clean and the beds are very comfortable.

Our stay at this Winnipeg location was good. I expected a quieter room in regards to the outdoors since it is so close to the airport -- this was not the case there was outside noise that we could hear in the room. The towels in the room were not great (very well used). There was good supply of pool towels but they had to be left at the pool or returned promptly to the front desk -- we were approached as we were getting on the elevator with our kids to remind us to bring back the pool towels. ... Pros: clean, spacious rooms, was greeted by friendly staff at check in and check out, good hot/cold breakfast, free wifi and nice pool area Cons: lounge was not open in the evening when it was suppose to be (apparently that staff member was dealing with a computer issue). Guests were rudely told to eat somewhere else. When I wanted to purchase a soda I was very rudely told to use the vending machine which was sold out of almost everything. To which I was told too bad go somewhere else to pur... Read more

Just stayed one night here and it is located close to the airport and walking distance to restaurants. If you are looking for a cheap hotel and is well maintained, this is a good option for Winnipeg. It has a pool with water slide so it's good for the family. Breakfast is included but you are better off going to Tim Hortons for your morning coffee.

We stayed three nights while we visited Winnipeg. We got a great price so it was with staying in the airport area. The rooms were very clean with daily service. There were lots of families in the hotel and it was very quiet. I didn't notice any noise from the hallways it street. The wifi worked great our entire stay. The breakfast included with the room is a great deal with lots of hot and cold options. The pool is great for kids because it has the paddling pool area but the main pool is not too... Read more

Had a great stay! Tara and Tom on the evening shift were very pleasant and helpful, especially when we asked about the local area. The saltwater pool and hot tub were fun and relaxing after an adventurous day! The saltwater is, surprisingly, not painful to the eyes, and it's much less harsh than chlorine. As a downside, the breakfast was only okay - not bad for a free meal, but the waffle maker just didn't cook well at all. It is close to several good restaurants, such as Augustino's Pizza and ... The two of us went to this hotel and stayed there for nine days around Canada Day of 2016. The most annoying aspect of this hotel is the enormous noise generated by the kids running around in the corridor of the floor where my room was: One night the kids ran from one end to the other end of that corridor at 3 am. The children upstairs are horrible, too. They would be banging their feet against the ground in the middle of the night. To simplify the rest of my review and for your own determin... Read more

My husband and I are both teachers and before going back to work we wanted to take our kids on a little vacation away from home. I chose this hotel because it had a pool with a waterslide, free breakfast and was near some stores we wanted to visit. We were quite pleased with our stay. We loved the pool and waterslide!!! We spent a good amount of time there and the kids never got tired of their surroundings. A nice sized pool, a great slide, a smaller kid-sized pool and a hot tub were all great... Read more

I have stayed there several times in the last few years, and never have any disappointments. Rooms are clean, beds are comfortable, and the front desk staff is always friendly and helpful. The free breakfast is usually scrambled eggs and bacon or sausages, porridge, cereals, along with muffins or toast. They have adequate parking and offer shuttle or free taxi to the airport when required. I will continue to use this hotel for my Winnipeg visits.

Drove all the way from Saskatchewan to renew my passport, upon arrival, I was promptly greeted by Tara and proceeded to check me in to room 215. Unfortunately, my keys did not not work and i have to go down twice to get a new key. She was very apologetic because i have to go down again for the second time and decided to just give me a new room which is just across the hall. Room 216 is great ! Breakfast starts at 6 am and has a wide selection of hot and cold items. I could have stayed at the Sa... Read more
