Best hotel in the valley. It's clean, it's new, has friendly staff, has a great water slide and pool for the kids, great hotel packages ( we picked the pizza package ), free hot breakfast, and all for a very reasonable price.

45 min drive from halifax, with a jacuzzi, under $200. What else is there to say? Quick checkin/checkout. I think the third or fourth time I've been, will be back. Breakfast was mediocre at best, though the pancake machine was kind of cool.

We paid for a king suit but had to stay in a double room due to my brothers room being given away to another guest and it was his wedding night so my husband and I gave our room to him and his new bride.

We travelled with a group of band students & this hotel was very accommodating to us. Rooms were on same floor, all very clean & well maintained. Breakfast was great... Standard free hotel bkft...they even provided a small banquet room for our group to eat & have activities in. Front desk staff were very friendly & helpful. Thank you for everything!

The hotel is one of the modern ones, and unless you get a room on the top floor, the chances of a decent night's sleep are low. It was like a herd of elephants upstairs - not just the room above, but the whole floor seems to 'thump'. It finished about mid night, and started again at 6 a.m. Sadly, the design of these modern hotels means that the only option is a top floor room. To add to the woes, there were about 35 - 40 children staying. To be fair, they were well behaved, but at breakfast in ... Read more

Check in took over 30 minutes as there the person working the desk was on the phone. Did bother looking at the people waiting at the counter for over 25 minutes. At check in decided to upgrade to a family suite... if this was an upgrade I would not like to see the other rooms. The room was dirty and smelled awful. The paint on the walls is all peeling, the bunk beds had stains all over them with what looked like could have been old milk spilled and there was a big ball of hair in one of the be... Read more

Just a note around the dispensing machines in the shower and sink area. When showering I do not wear glasses so larger type face on the bottles would be more appropriate and easier to read and not lead to using conditioner as body shampoo. As well the bottles are very difficult to squeeze the liquids out of. I should think it is impossible for many elders and young children to access the products you so graciously provide.

Fairly new. Smooth check in. Comfortable beds. Clean bathroom. Ground floor windows only open about 6 inches so if you want window that opens fully, go 2nd floor or higher. Nicely set out breakfast area and helpful breakfast attendant when pancake maker didn't work. Good value hotel. Tim Hortons, Macdonalds and Jesse's Pizza walking distance.

When you are walking up a hill to get to the motel, and one of the receptionists - just leaving after her long day atwork - turns her car around to offer a ride, you know you're at the best place possible!

Couldn't sit in pool area to watch children as there were ants all over floor and crawling on me... Hot tub looks dingy and like needs a good cleaning.. Rooms are decent, service is decent. Breakfast isn't great but better then nothing. Poop towels located behind desk and staff not overly prompt at offering them to you even when standing in your swimsuit waiting for 15 min!!

Simple hotel with friendly staff. Our room was a bit problematic as the AC unit was so loud we had to turn it off. It wasn't really hot so it wasn't a big deal for that night. The location was good, easy to get to and close to amenities and highway. Staff seemed friendly, but we are not needy people and didn't ask for anything from them. Our room was located next to the stairs so you could hear some noise (slight) when people walked/ran up/down the stairs. We could also hear noise from the ... Read more

Upon entering our "family room" there was dead bug on the floor of the bathroom under the sink area, that day swimming at the pool the chairs were filthy and clumps of went hair and dirt were all over the floor near pool filters, that night thinking they would be cleaned up to return the next morning and see nothing changed! It was the most uncomfortable and disgusting hotel I have stayed at!

When seeing my Daughter and Grand Daughters I always stay at the Super8 in Windsor. The Staff knows me by name and has always been very helpful and friendly. The rooms are always ready and clean and I enjoy staying in a home away from home.

We love this hotel. Every time we stay here it is clean, the staff is great, and we have a pleasant stay :) great pool with water slide for the kids and hot tub for the grown ups. Breakfast is nothing special (boiled eggs, cereal, toast etc) but does the trick and is served starting nice and early, and the coffee is yummy!

You know when life is good - the bed is so soft and comfy and the pillows are fluffy? And you sleep so well that you don't want to get up so you call for a late-checkout? This was THAT kind of stay. Highly recommend.
