Very nice clean place to stay, under ground parking, very secure. Stayed here 3 nights when husband was in hospital. Felt very safe. Very close to everything. Would recommend this place to anyone. Staff very friendly and helpful

We were travelling from the UK on a family road trip (2 adults, 4 kids) from Toronto to Chicago and stopped here for one night on our way through. We were made very welcome by the reception team. The rooms were clean and tidy with all the normal facilities available. Our kids particularly enjoyed the swimming pool which we hadn't realised was part of the hotel's facilities. There is also a small gym, although we didn't use this. The hotel is centrally located, which made a short walk down t... Read more

I stayed in room 622 recently while in Windsor on business. The hotel itself is OK, clean, the staff friendly. When you first arrive at the hotel, it's easy to miss the entrance to the parking area and the three spots where you can stop while you check in. Since the hotel is located on the corner of Park and Ouellette streets, this can cause a bit of a headache. Park street is one-way at that point, so if you miss the entrance you have to go a block farther west

The hotel was decent. Location was perfect for what we were looking for. Rooms were clean and we were put on a hight floor so the noise level wasn't awful. Bar was nice as well. We arrived late and the girl at the desk withour a name tag seemd pretty annoyed to be working. We arrived around 930 on Friday, May 6th. Parking was pretty sketchy and I'm a bit surprised at the charge considering the condition of the under ground lot. It seemed incredibly in safe and pretty much disgusting. There is... Read more

We stayed here for one night because my daughters were going to a concert at Caesars. We took the Tunnel over and were pleasantly surprised that the hotel was literally a quick left after customs. Unfortunately even though it was right at the corner, the parking lot was a bit ridiculous. If you have more than one car, choose the smaller one as the spaces are tight and the turns in the garage show lots of paint from cars having difficulty maneuvering the turns. It is a good thing the weather ... Read more

I spent 2 nights here and was pleased with everything; great location right downtown (so easy walking to the riverside for great views of Detroit), comfortable beds, and reasonable price. Staff were friendly and helpful. I'd stay here again.

Unfortunately, our experience was a negative one, with the main problem being parking, or the lack thereof. After having checked in earlier, we returned from out outing after midnight on a Saturday night and first discovered the street was closed down. Apparently it happens every Saturday night, but it hadn't been mentioned to us. So we had to find another route in, only to discover there were no open places to park. I don't understand why a seven story hotel would have just one small level of p... Read more

First of all, the staff was really lovely, helpful and friendly and the beds were comfortable. We stayed for two nights and the hotel is in desperate need of upgrades. The carpet in our room was sticky which grossed me out. We went to have a snack in the restaurant next door and the smell of grease was so strong that I couldn't even enter. Parking was difficult although we did manage to get a spot in the basement the second night. The location was convenient but I am sure if I had researche... Read more

My husband and I recently stayed at the Holiday Inn in Windsor, Canada, for one night. We had not been to that area before. It was very nice. All of the employees that we talked to were very friendly and helpful. The room was spacious and very clean. The bed was comfortable and had numerous pillows to choose from to use, ranging from soft to firm. We had our two small dogs with us and was going to be put in a room on the ground floor, but since we are members of the Holiday Inn Rewards we were u... Read more

The located is in the heart of downtown Windsor which the best place to be in Windsor. Lots of restaurants, bars, and cafes are located in the area along with other businesses. The hotel is otherwise very basic and the rooms have the basic minimum. But if you're going to Windsor this location is where you want to be.

The only faults I could find with this well located CBD (downtown) hotel after I arrived on the excellent, fast and with catering onboard Via Rail train from Toronto was that at times the personal computer in the business centre did not work - it did eventually - and that my room 711 lacked a safety deposit box - do USA and Canadian hoteliers think theft from rooms never occurs? Apart from these minor blemishes, the hotel was excellent. Filipina Eliza and caucasian Graeme plus Ian on overnigh... Read more

This is a nice hotel conveniently located downtown but also with very easy access to the River Road that separates Windsor from Detroit. We did find the entrance to the hotel from Ouellette to be a bid hidden and we drove right by the first time and had to circle back. The ground floor restaurant does a decent job of breakfast but we found the food in the late afternoon to be wanting. The wings were not very good. The hotel is reasonably priced and parking was free.

The hotel staff were very friendly upon checking in. If you drive a big vehicle like we do - pick-up - parking is a nightmare and extremely tight as you're in a parking garage with extremely tight turns and limited spaces for parking. Cigarette smell throughout because it comes in from the areas where people are smoking in the parking area - picked up the smell everytime I was in the hall. Rooms weren't overly clean in fact a couple we were with were assigned a room that hadn't been cleaned e... Read more

Hotel is well located a little dated but rooms are large and bed is very comfy. Staff is very friendly. When parking is full on the 2nd level you have to park downstairs which is not connected to the hotel and have to walk outside to get to hotel but in winter this could be the better parking. Great pizza place around the corner on pelissier and university.

The holiday inn was nothing special but there was nothing wrong with it. Spent the weekend in Canada with friends for a birthday. The location of this hotel is great as it's very central between bars and the casino. The price was not terrible. Would stay here again. Graeme at the front desk was super helpful!

Decent hotel. A bit dated but seemed clean. Staff were good and it's a great location for trips to the US. we walked 1/2 block from Canadian boarder on our return!!! Will stay here again mainly because of this convenience. The prices were very competitive.

Forgot a short that I bought a day before I checked out for $80 plus tax. I had called the hotel the same day to request that they collect the item in my room and we can figured out shipping but they said they couldn't find it. This must have been stolen as it was reported a couple of hours after I checked out.

right in downtown, walking distance from all major restaurants and bars. If you are visiting to have fun in windsor, this is a best hotel. Hotel doesn't have a pool or big room, but location is the best one

When I checked in I was greeted by people with a smile, they were very professional and at the same time cool enough for my 23 year old daughter. The hotel is centrally located and a perfect spot to make day trips to Detroit. There is a hidden gem in this hotel. When you go for breakfast and Renee is your server you will be treated as a king. She understands what a customer wants, She is super friendly , professional and she has a smile that melted away my morning temper, WOW . To start a perfe... Read more
