First off I do have to say that I had a couple issues during my visit, but they could not have been avoided and being a frequent business traveler, I do expect such things... When I arrived the computer system was down so they had to go through a manual process to check everyone in. The two desk clerks went beyond to get everyone booked in a short period of time, while disruptive, these things can happen in the information age. At least they were able to do manual check ins which is better tha... Read more

Lovely hotel, clean, easy access, etc - all the things one might expect. However the price of $189.00 without breakfast is too much. On top of that, I use a walker and the disabled room consisted of a grab bar. Had to call the desk for a tub chair to use the shower. We stayed at four American hotels on our trip back to Canada and all had walk-in showers in the disable access rooms.

I have stayed at this hotel a few times now. Every time the staff is nice, check in is very quick. The pool is a little chilly but the kids enjoyed it. I wished the breakfast is included like it is in their competitor across the street, but the restaurant that is located inside the hotel has good food.

Arrived very late & got upgraded to a king suite from a standard room. Very courteous & efficient check in/out. Handy to bridge to USA & highway 401. Being next door to Tim Horton's is also a big plus for any Canadian traveler, too!

Lead to believe that the king suite had a kitchenette. The "kitchenette" had a microwave, a refrigerator and a mini sink. No stove or oven, no utensils, no dinnerware. Could have stayed at the Ramada for 1/2 the price and got a similar room. FYI, the wallpaper in the room makes you feel like you're in Willy Wonka's chocolate factory (or a circus).

My boyfriend and I just needed a place to sleep while visiting family, and the Holiday Inn was perfect for that. We both found the bed extremely comfortable, so much so that we had a hard time getting out of bed in the morning! I love that they have 2 softer and 2 firmer pillows so you can have one that suits your needs. It was very convenient having drinks available for purchase in the lobby, as we arrived back to the hotel late and needed a quick refreshment to take to our room. Our room was c... Read more

This was my second time staying at the Holiday Inn & Suites Ambassador Bridge while on business in Windsor. Upon entering the hotel and interacting with the front desk representative, I was reminded of the poor customer service I encountered the first time I stayed at the property. I would strongly encourage the general manager to provide a good dose of customer service and hospitality training to his staff - look at your customer, smile, let your customer know they are valued because there are... It's a very good property. Good size rooms, very clean, easy location to find and get onto 401, Tim Hortons next door, cool pool area and open to 11 p.m. Check in and out a snap. Hotel restaurant was good, but not many clients around. Beds were very good. It would have been an excellent experience but I felt it was overpriced. Now that may not have became a factor until, on Father's Day,of all days, they refused my request for a 1 p.m. Checkout(12 is the usual). My daughter wanted to go to the poo... Read more

We stayed at this hotel three years ago when we went to Windsor to look for a place for our daughter who was about to start Law School at the University of Windsor. Now that she was graduating, we got a great U of Windsor alumni rate. We got two adjoining rooms (comfortable and clean) with a connecting door which made the family trip a fun one! We asked for late checkout and they kept our luggage while we went to attend the graduation ceremonies. The rooms are a looking a bit tired and the ele... Read more

This hotel was a nice. Good location. Places to dine near by. Hot tub and pool. No breakfast offered at hotel. Free WiFi. Close to riverfront. Not to far from the border. Room was nice. Lobby area was also nice. A few younger people staying at the hotel to go out and party a little noisey but over all wasn't horrible.

My sister, myself and my 2 teenage sons stayed here. We had connecting rooms. We were quite happy with our stay. Even though no food was included, the room service was timely and tasty. The beds were very comfortable and the room was very clean. Hint: Ask for a room away from the elevators. There was a fair amount of loud traffic throughout the evening. Nothing continuous, just lots of families chatting loudly as they went to their rooms.

W stopped here on our way from Kentucky to Barrie, ON. Very easy to find after crossing into Canada. The hotel is clean, quiet, and comfortable. They were very crowded so there was a short wait for our room, but the bar was handy. The staff made us very welcome. Enjoyed our stay. Worth stopping here again.

Whenever I am in Windsor and need to stay overnight on business this is my hotel of choice. However recently I must say that the property is looking a little worse for wear, in particular the carpeting on the third floor was full of stains and quite frankly did not give a really good impression. Other than that the rooms are clean and the beds are comfortable. A positive of this hotel is the wonderfully friendly staff that can't do enough for you. I would still recommend this hotel despite the... Read more

The decor of the hotel and rooms is quite dated. My IHG profile requests rooms away from the elevator and I get the room with two doors.... One is an entrance right in front of the elevator and the other leads to the vending and ice machines. It couldn't be any more irritating. You hear every "ding" when someone stops on your floor, every conversation, and every Ice Bucket run. It's situated between a crazy busy road and an industrial complex where trucks load and leave the warehouse at 5 a... Read more

Stayed here while on business travel for 1 week. The room was great. I had a king room, which had a dividing wall that created a living room area where I could relax on the couch and watch tv instead of sitting on the bed like most places. there is also a fridge and coffee maker so I was able to store food and drinks. There is free coffee in the morning near the main desk. The restaurant was too expensive for breakfast, however there is a Tim Horton's in the Parking lot. Easy to get out of the ... Read more

Not a problem. The problems started when we finally got the key for that room. Apparently the front desk did not check it in properly so the next day is was black listed by housekeeping for service. I stayed at the Holiday Inn Windsor Ambassador Bridge from August 8-11.  I had a king room that was very spacious.  It had separate living and sleeping areas with a couch and two chairs in the living area and a king bed in the sleeping area.  There was a small fridge and a Keurig machine included in the room and there was quite a bit of storage (two dressers, one in each space and a very big open closet with hangers).  The bathroom was a decent size though the bathtub was looking a little wo... Stayed here for two nights on our summer road trip. For the price breakfast really should be included or at least some sort of continental breakfast offered. The restaurant attached is newer and offers a pretty good selection so that's an option. The hotel itself needs major updating. Carpets are old and stained leaving a funny smell in some areas. Staff is friendly enough though. Cute indoor pool

Some people might say that ito just face wash bUT knowing that I have another night to go and I literally can't leave even face wash out without it getting taken doesn't make me feel comfortable in the slightest. There isn't anything good to say about this place. My reservation was for a room on a high floor with a king suite. From the person who greeted us (Alicia) as we first walked in, to the housekeeper (Tammy) who did a great job making up our room, all the staff we met were friendly and polite. The bed was comfortable, the sofa bed was okay. We were supposed to get a room with 2 queens, but instead we got a king. They upgraded us to the executive king (we think, we really can't tell the difference, on the web, between king and executive king, is it only the TV?) and that helped. Very good Hotel - I am not sure, if I have been upgraded to a bigger room, but I had plenty of space (includin a couch). Bed was very good, TV average and bath room very good as well. Did not try the work out area, but heard good things about it. Air conditioning did not really cool down the room and was pretty loud. Never the less, I would stay here again!

We stayed at the Holiday Inn in Windsor while on a family trip to Detroit, Michigan, and Toronto, Ontario. The hotel is very nice. We enjoyed our stay even though we were only there one night. We looked around and the pool area was very nice. There is a Tim Hortons next door which was nice and convenient. We walked there for coffee and breakfast in the morning. We would definitely stay at this hotel again if in the area.

Recently stayed overnight for business, likely the worst Holiday Inn I've stayed at. Heating system noisy, mold on the shower curtain, used tissue stuck to side of Kleenex box, my colleagues TV did not work, ordered breakfast, standard bacon and eggs with toast, served on freezing cold plates so everything was cold, pathetic.

Stayed here earlier in the month - it's an older hotel and nothing special but there was no hot water and no water pressure in the morning. I couldn't take a shower. That's a really fantastic way to start off my day. No empathy from the staff either - just a lacklustre apology and shrug. I won't be staying here again.
