Room overall was very clean, but the carpets really could use a cleaning. I didn't feel comfortable either in socks or bare feet! The beds and bathroom were clean. Beds and pillows really comfortable. The power outlets need replacing because I couldn't find a single one that was tight enough to hold a plug so I could charge my phone and tablet. It was also a little inconvenient that although we paid for and stayed 3 nights our cards had only been programmed for 2 nights and we had to return... Read more

We booked a two bedroom suite on the Easter weekend to attend our grandsons hockey tournament. The room was spacious and well equipped. Two outdoor patios (one huge), three TV's, beds were very comfortable. The only disappointment was the jacuzzi tub was only a soaker tub, the jets did not work, would have been nice after hockey to not have to go downstairs to use the outdoor hot tub. The adjoining ONE bathroom caused a little confusion as to who was in it if both doors were not left open upon ... Read more

Although this hotel is a little on the older side, the mattresses were amazingly comfortable. The location was great as we have relatives that live on the West side. This allowed us to walk to their place, via trails off Glen Canyon Park, which is right behind the hotel. The staff here is very helpful and super friendly. It is nice to deal with people that actually enjoy their job and are happy. The feeling rubs off and makes the guests happy!

All I could think of when we pulled up to check in was the Bates Motel. We arrived at 12:45 to check in and there were no rooms available yet. Good thing, because it is in the middle of renovating the pool. very low end hotel. We cancelled our reservation and stayed severe else.

Stayed for one night and thankfully it wasn't any more than that. Check in was fine. Rooms had a weird smell. Beds were ok, but not great by any stretch. Vending machines didn't work or were empty. For the price to stay here, Holiday Inn needs to do a lot of work. The only reason we stayed was because everything else was booked and if it were to happen again we would probably keep driving.

Room was ok, but was nothing special. Hoping to get a free continental breakfast included, but was not included. The hotel is difficult to get to from downtown Kelowna as Highway 97 splits into 2 separate roads (Main Street and Dobbin Road) in West Kelowna (Westbank). Miss the cut-off road and you are off to Summerland or Vancouver.

Checked in. Supposed to get a king. Got a double queen even though I spoke to the reception personally when I booked. Decided on the location because of the holiday Inn standards and they have a restaurant and lounge. More expensive but for the convenience! Check in was a bit lengthy but ok. Room a bit dated and definately NOT thoroughly cleaned. ....Some one else's pamphlets dropped under the desk.....not removed...what else wasn't??? Then went for supper at the attached restaurant to find ou... Read more

Kelowna was pretty well booked up so this was the only Hotel we could get on short notice. Beds were comfortable. Room was clean. Shower was hot. Tv was a flat screen Price was high for the room. I do a lot of travelling and still don't understand why the rooms at the Holiday Inn have no microwaves or fridge. This isn't 1990. Should be standard fare by now. Asked front desk about getting fridge/microwave as we were staying for 3 nights, but were told there were none available. Seems like they di... Read more

Not only is this hotel poorly located, it also lacks even the very basic amenities. There is no fridge and the coffee maker is located in such a way that it is not easy to plug in. The beds were very comfortable me big out carpet was stained/dirty. I have stayed at several area hotels for a similar price and would not recommend this one.

The family was passing through Kelowna so we decided to book 2 rooms for a night at Holiday Inn West Kelowna. The location was good & convenient. Just off the highway 97S. It was accessible to many shopping malls & fast food centers. Reception staff were helpful & efficient. Each room had a 20/- breakfast voucher to offset the breakfast cost. The breakfast was good & we paid an additional 5/- for the family. The rooms were spacious, clean & the beds comfortable. We were pleased with our choice & ... Read more

We stayed at the holiday inn in west Kelowna as one of the last stops on our honeymoon throughout bc To be honest.. This hotel was by far the most expensive in the aspect for what you get for what you pay. At $200/night we were hoping to have a little more. At least a free breakfast. Upon our late check in (10pm). We were given to 2 dirty rooms. Which were mistaken for clean and finally got one on the 3rd try. We were however compensated for a $20 breakfast voucher. However when reading review... Read more

The hotel room was "fine". Pros- comfy bed and pillows, fairly clean, front desk staff were awesomely friendly, hotel was quiet, the kids enjoyed the pool, the air conditioning worked perfectly and was quiet. If all your looking for is a good night of sleep, this hotel will fit the bill. Cons- horrible location for proximity to anything except leaving Kelowna. No fridge or microwave (this is just silly and cheaping out in this day and age), no comp breakfast, (not even coffee in the lobby). Wi... Read more

I booked this as part of a recent trip to BC wine country en route to Okanagan. The location is good as a starting point to get to Osoyoos and the Okanagan in general. You can get to Mission Hill in about 5-10mins. The hotel is easy enough to find and there`s a Boston Pizza next door. The room was pretty big. No complaints. It was clean and servicable. Having said that, I think the room might have been an accessible room. No big deal, just a hunch based on the placement of everything. The wa... Read more

Upon arriving the card machine was broken and they were waiting on a new one. We had to be let in every time we came back which was super inconvenient for the poor workers at front desk. Rooms were a lil outdated. Our jacuzzi in room was nice but the shower was extremely small. Rugs heavily stained. Could use a really good clean or change. Hotel looked newer in pictures. Price was reasonable, however. Staff was all very friendly.

I thought I booked a King and was surprised that it was a King with a jacuzzi. I need to read the small writing I guess, but did receive an adjustment. The jacuzzi took up so much room that I am pretty sure you would be able to see it from space. Walls were thin, and when the upper floor unit filled their jacuzzi, we couldn't even hear the TV, 3 of the lamps didn't work, but they were fixed the next morning. Pretty lame to have a microwave and fridge on a carpeted trolley, which I suspect could... Read more

Would not stay here again. I booked a room with a fridge. Even confirmed the week before arrival that I would have a fridge. Very important when travelling with Children. We arrived only to be told that rooms with fridges was only a "request" only and none was available. I found the manager to be not helpful at all and argumentative as to whether I had actually confirmed that I would have a fridge. After driving 8 hours, that was very stressful and after much insisting on our part that we neede... Read more

I was traveling with 36 young people and 8 adults on a road trip through the area. We just spent one night here, and I found very comfortable and accommodating. Rooms were clean, beds were comfy. Even though we were such a big group, the people at the front desk were very friendly and helpful, making the check in process easy for all 45 of us I also enjoyed working with the group sales department previous to my check in. I think it was Ron that I was communicating with, and he was very helpful. ... Read more

Closest hotel from the highway, entering from the west (Vancouver). Bright, spacious interior, and exterior. Many parking spots available. Friendly and welcoming front desk. Gym amenities, but really small! Outdoor pool is cool... It's half indoor, and half outdoor, due to a gate that splits the pool. Outdoor jacuzzi looks at the mountain and sunset. Con: no complimentary breakfast served. You'll have to order room service, or head to the attached restaurant, or simply head to town. Its about... Read more

We had booked a pet friendly room, but no longer needed it due to our dog passing. They graciously moved us up to an upper level room with better view for same price. Nice clean room with fun indoor/outdoor pool area. Very convenient restaurant next door where kids 12& under receive one free meal per day. Close to lots of recreational opportunities without being bogged down in downtown traffic.

Booked this hotel at the last minute, while spontaneously planning a quick summer trip to the Okanagan. Staff were courteous and friendly. Room was clean and had all the amenities we were looking for (fridge, coffee maker,...and the all important air conditioning). Located on the south end of West Kelowna, it is comfortable and extremely quiet - remarkable given its proximity to the highway. Our room and hotel environment was clean and the staff friendly and helpful. Clean quiet property located at the southern end of West Kelowna. Ideal for venturing south towards Summerland and Penticton. Unusual room configuration with a large jacuzzi in the main room, bed in a separate room making a "suite" configuration, small bathroom with two sinks side by side. Lots of amenities nearby. A good, solid hotel choice.

The hotel is your typical holiday inn. Nice enough room, clean, all the basics. The inside/outside pool is cool but is starting to show its age. A little bit of paint and cleaning around could do some good there. The gym is pretty sad. Small room and equipement below average. Overall a good place to stay though.
