Beds were very comfortable and the staff was helpful but I wasn't expecting a $30 charge for parking my vehicle

The hotel comes across "old". A very basic and uninteresting breakfast is served in a small room without windows in the basement. The room was quiet and the people in the reception friendly and helpful, apart from that nothing extra.

We stayed in this hotel for three nights following a cruise. We arrived early hoping to be able to store our bags but we were able to check into our room which was great. There was road work being done on the street in front of the hotel, but it wasn't an inconvenience since we were walking and took a cab from the pier. The room was spacious although the king size bed was a bit tightly placed into the room space. This is an older hotel and has a lot of character which I found charming, but t... Read more

Great location downtown, just a few block from cruise terminal and Gastown. Great management at desk and rooms small, but nice and clean with tasteful appointments. Hightly recommended!

It's slightly off the beaten path, but walk about two blocks and you're right in the hustle and bustle of downtown Vancouver. The rooms are reasonably priced, and the staff was very friendly and accommodating. The free breakfast was good but the breakfast room was way too hot. The rooms need some work, and my window opened to the alley so there was no view. It met my needs adequately, though, as I spent most of my time touring. There's a great diner right across the street and a classical music ... Read more

Lodging in Vancouver is expensive. This hotel gives you a good location to walk and explore the city at a reasonable price.

The surrounding area is not so nice. The staff were awesome. There is no restaurant within the hotel so you cannot have room service unless you order from the restaurant next door. There were little bugs running around in the bathroom, couldn't see on the dark carpet. It looked like a bullet hole in the ceiling. The rooms are very tiny. It was very noisy and the a/c was very noisy everytime it came on. I was awakened at 4:00 AM by the snoring of the person in the room beside mine. The wa... Read more

Had a wonderful time at Ramada Limited in Downtown Vancouver. The hotel was okay, but the service was very good! If you are looking to enjoy a hotel and be pampered by its amenities, this hotel definitely is not the one for you. However, if you are looking for GREAT location so that you can enjoy Downtown Vancouver spending most of our time out-and-about, then I'd highly recommend this hotel!

Staff friendly and helpful. Hotel conveniently located. Some staff members should have had a better knowledge of some tourist services. Breakfast average. Bed very comfortable. Room very clean.

Staff are very friendly and courteous. Good location to Gas Town and downtown. For business needs this simply works for me. This is not The Coast or Ritz but they've always treated me very well and for that I couldn't ask for anything more.

I've planned to stay for 2 weeks but left early due to the unacceptable room. The windows were blinded so that the guest wouldn't have to look at the concrete wall about 1,5 m from the window. Basically the room had no real windows. The floor was uneven and had a massive slope towards the door. Due to the lack of daylight and the brown/beige decor the room felt like a cell. Breakfast was included but unbearable, with the breakfast room in the basement. All plastic packed convenient foods. The on... Read more

On the positive side, it was renovated and clean, walking distance to all amenities and waterfront. Room and bathroom were super small, we had a hard time finding space to open our suitcases and when we opened the curtains we could not see outside the window was frosted glass because our view was a brick wall. For $199.00 plus tax, mmmm...... Continental breakfast was included but wasn't impress with the waffles and it was down in the basement, again very small space and felt like you were in ... Read more

This is an older hotel, but the room was clean and comfortable. The complementary breakfast was extensive and more than satisfactory. The hotel is very central to downtown Vancouver, but not located in the most up-market part of town.

This hotel was quite charming in an old time way. It was very solid with antique wood trim and squeaky floors that made me think of grand hotels of the mid 1900's! Our room was well appointed with a nice, comfy king size bed and a desk and chair to read by. The bathroom was large and newly renovated. Due to the age of the hotel, the room wasn't designed to hold a king size bed, but it worked out okay. Just a bit tight to get around it. The location couldn't be better. Close to restauran... Close to the waterfront, gastown, and The Pacific Centre shopping complex. Rooms were clean and the beds were soft (with lots if pillows!). The outside is older but it seems the rooms were recently refurbished.

The building is very old. When someone is walking next to your room, my bed was trembling. I could hear people talking and close doors... It was really noisy outside. I had to change three times for a decent room. Exception: staff was really helpful and the location is great! You can visit Vancouver by walk! Unfortunatly I would not recommend this hotel.

The location was very good, it is walking distance to literally everything downtown. The building is old which is fine, but there were some drawbacks. The handle of the door to our room fell off, the locking mechanism didn't work consistently and we had to call the front desk for a maintenance man to come look at it, he didn't seem to care. The people at the front desk were fabulous. Always very helpful and good with information which was appreciated. Overall I would stay here again.

The old Niagara Hotel has been renovated beautifully. The room was very quiet (considering location on busy downtown street). The king size bed was the most comfortable bed EVER in a hotel. Highly recommend the Ramada Limited Vancouver Downtown.

I was booked into Ramada on the 31 May for one night and when I landed at the Vancouver Airport at around 8:30 in the morning, I was a bit concerned about what I would do till the hotel checked me in at 14:00 or so. I took a chance and landed up at the hotel and presented myself at the reception. I was ready to hear the oft repeated words asking me to come back at 2 and that I could leave my luggage with them if I wanted to. But to my delight, the young man at the counter told me that I'm in luc... Read more

This was my first time staying at the Ramada Limited, and it was a most enjoyable stay. The location is very convenient, as it's within easy walking distance from the Waterfront Skytrain station (which is perfect for getting back and forth to the airport). It's also easy to reach the Vancouver Convention Centre and Gastown. There are lots of great Pubs and restaurants within easy walking distance. The hotel staff were always cheerful, efficient and very helpful with any questions. The hotel... Read more

The location is close to Transit, Downtown, Gastown, Yaletown and Chinatown. The hotel interior is very pleasant and modern. The room was small but ok for a short stay. There was no fridge in the room and the bed was very comfortable but the bed springs squeaked when you turned over. Some room noise heard from room beside us as they must have been up for an early departure. The continental breakfast included was excellent. I would definitely stay here again.

The ramada is two blocks from Granville street and two blocks from gastown. It is walking distance of both waterfront and Vancouver central stations. The hotel is pretty average. The complimentary breakfast is nothing too exciting. The rooms are pretty bland. The free wifi is rubbish. It disconnects regularly. For Vancouver the ramada represents good value for money. For everywhere else in the world it is overpriced.

This is a moderately priced hotel in a really good location. It is just 3 blocks from the Gastown steam clock. The hotel is older but clean. Parking is awkward because you have to rely on offsite valet parking. The breakfast was not very good. The elevator broke during our visit, and could only be used with having a staff member run the elevator.
