nice and central location. average as I would expect a 3 stars to be. Small room and small and old bathroom. Was just ok for 2 nights. I did not have breakfast there so I can't evaluate. Was very well located and that was the reason for my choice.

I just spent two nights at Moda for business travel. First the pros: friendly and helpful staff, amazing breakfast @ Cibo, cool room with character, great location that is walking distance to everything, good rate. Now the cons: the elevator is currently out of commission for over a month (however, management nicely comped our breakfast when we approached them), my second-floor room was quite loud at night as it was right over the bar downstairs and the hotel lacks a gym (which many boutique hot... Good location for downtown Vancouver About 15 mins walk to the subway station and 5 mins walk to the bus stations Lots of good places to eat within 5 minutes walk Hotel is well renovated and looks modern, but is clearly in a very old building The lift is really old and small, and very slow The bathroom was freezing and the tiles suck the heat out. We did visit in winter though. Room is warm enough with the heater going. Not too bad for the price.

The convenient and inexpensive parking is this hotel's best quality. The room rates are inexpensive but probably not a good value. The location is good if you are there for an nearby entertainment venue and plan to get wasted and walk the streets howling all night like your fellow revelers. Otherwise, budget hotels in other neighborhoods would be a better choice. During the day, the area is populated by business people, service workers, street people and a few tourists. At night, the street peop... Read more

Luckily we were only here for a night, this place is pretty run down and very average! Our room had a terrible smell that lasted the whole time we were there, the bed wasn't comfortable and the bathroom needed an upgrade, the shower hose was spitting water. We were that happy to stay but it was only a night, but definitely won't be staying here again and definitely do not recommend it!

Booked this for a one night stay while attending a show at a nearby venue. The location and value of this hotel if great. The room is average. It was clean and had all that was needed for a single night stay. The room is small but again is good if you are just using it to sleep. The staff was pretty friendly.

Front desk was friendly. Lots of curl appeal and in a great location. Unfortunately our heater wasn't working and when we called down to report it they said there was a flag on our room which makes me wonder why they didn't tell us upon check in. They provided a space heater which did an OK job. The blanket and pillows look like they had been in a automotive roadside emergency kit and were far below average in terms of my expectations. For around 120 a night over new years I guess the value ... Read more

Loved this hotel. We had a deluxe king room which although small had everything you could ask for. A huge bed (larger than our own super king), the room was beautifully clean and the staff were very pleasant and helpful. It has a restaurant and a sports bar attached and also a liquor store at the end of the block- very handy.

A decent hotel with good rooms, nice staff, a great location and good prices. Our only complaint after staying 3 days was that the bathroom floor was too cold. Ask for a second bathmat. (And here are the last 15 characters.)

I've really enjoyed my stay and would definitely recommend the Moda Hotel to my friends and business partners. Excellent and friendly. Well located in downtown Vancouver. Lots of shopping close by and easy access to transit system.
