Absolutely wonderful! Highly recommend to stay when in Vancouver Canada! Wendy, Kathleen and Kevin treated us like royalty as all of Canada. On the top of list to visit again. The 12th floor suite overlooked Stanley Park, Coal Harbor and to the left you could see Whistler Mountain Ski Resort thst sponsored 2010 Winter Nordic Olympic's.

If you want to feel like being at home, then you have to stay at Lord Stanley Suites. From our arrival day until our departure day, the staff was always helpful, friendly and kind. The suite was spotless, compfortable, excellent matress and our suite had a beautiful view, like a framed picture. Continental breakfast is included as well as WiFi. The location is near Robson St., Denman St. as well as Stanley Park to have a nice walk or just a block from Georgia St. where you can take the bus and j... Read more

Lord Stanley is just one block from multiple restaurants and shops and two blocks from a grocery store. It is situated in front of a marina and park. The view is breathtaking. Our room was run down and didnâ??t smell good but the location and view more than made up for it. There is a decent continental breakfast available every morning. The staff was very friendly. The price was much less than most hotels in the area.

Overall I was satisfied with my stay. I was looking for a hotel close to downtown at a reasonable price and the Lord Stanley fulfilled this need. I arrived before check-in and was able to park my car until the room was ready. The room was nice, but the air conditioner was very loud, so I had to turn it off. The TV is in an awkward position, so I had to angle the couch to be able to see it. I had an amazing view of Stanley Park, and it was located on a quiet street. Staff was friendly. I di... Read more

Solo traveller, stayed 4 nights in a Value Suite in May 2016. Hotel was easy to locate - I had planned to take the 20 minute bus ride from Pacific Central Station but it was a nice day so I instead chose to walk across town(70 mins). Was able to check in early with no issues. The room was clean and the bed was comfy. I made use of the kitchen for breakfast and snacks. They've got all the basic kitchen needs covered, with a dishwasher too! The sun room overlooking the harbour was a great place to... Read more

We were impressed even before we got there. The directions for public transport (train and bus) from the airport we downloaded from their website proved accurate and easy to follow for first timers in Vancouver. The reception chap when we arrived went out of his way to help us settle in, gave directions to the supermarket and liquor store, provided some extra tea bags and even a cup of milk. We booked the one bedroom suite which we thought wasn't particularly cheap but it turned out to be goo... Read more

We stayed here and absolutely loved it. From the minute we got here we felt like we were at home. The staff here is great and very friendly. Every night we came back to the room we were greeted at the front desk with a "welcome back home" and "how was your day". This was very nice to have a personal touch like that in such a big city, this made us feel very welcomed. The location was great and my dad and myself walked everywhere from here. We were able to walk to his meetings at Canada Place in ... Read more

We felt at home the minute we arrived. The staff on he front desk were very helpful. The suites are set in a residential area very close to Stanley Park and ideal for bike rental and getting the public transport to other areas of Vancouver. Well within walking distance of waterfront restaurants. Continental breakfast included however this was very carb based but gave you a good start for the day.

A tidy set of small rooms (was originally built as a condo) made for a great stay for my wife and I. Fantastic views of city, inner harbor, and Stanley Park as you would expect from the second floor from the top. (It's not especially tall). Quiet building with attentive and helpful receptionist/manager always at the ready in the small lobby. Furnishings and finishes weren't amazing or anything, but modern, clean, quiet, and with a location that was first rate since we love being near Stanley Par... Read more

We loved our stay here - we had an apartment overlooking the bay on the penthouse floor with the most amazing views. It had everything you could need from dishwasher to washer/dryer and was very comfortable ... Except that the bed was a bit narrow. The staff were more than friendly and helpful and, if you are looking for an apartment in Vancouver, I can't recommend this more highly. Breakfast is included in the daily rate but that was a disappointment - such a small "minus" that is barely worth ... Read more

This location can't be beat. They checked us in several hours early. The desk staff was friendly and the breakfast was fine but don't expect eggs or much fresh fruit. We had a one bedroom suite with windows and balcony overlooking the lost lagoon and the park. It was close to restaurants and bike rental shops. The small washer and dryer were a great help. The only negative was that the small bathroom didn't have place to put a cosmetic case down.

On the plus side: good location, fairly quiet, nice looking suites, a 10 minute walk or less to amenities. On the minus side - shower curtain smelled, I chose to wash it myself, sometimes put clean towels that were torn with holes in them, rooms not so clean, when you leave, you have to clean it yourself, surly, moody staff with attitude and you are well advised to not get into conversations with any of them unless you want to be rudely and unfairly judged. Looks good on the outside but just ... Read more

Aircon is in living room only and one of those portable ones added to the room No blackout shades in bedroom and just blides Hence, really bad for a place to sleep Front desk manager had very poor attitude. When asked why one bedroom has black out whilst another does not, he said noting he can do about it, I am only front desk clerk

The front desk staff offered a warm welcome, we'd arrived early so hadn't expected the room to be ready, but they provided access to the parkade and stored our luggage while we went off to enjoy ourselves. When we returned the room we had was facing the Marina and Stanley Park ( over looking the busy W Georgia St) which offered excellent views. All that we needed was in easy walking distance, though public transport was also easily accessible. The suite was well appointed and had we stayed longe... Read more

A great place to stay, an awesome location and a unbelievable view. Travelled with our 10 month old and they could provide us with a crib so was great. Travelling as a family it's always great to have home like set up. Close to grocery store and plenty of great places to eat all walking distance. Little things like the shower when turned on sounded like a screaming pig, the toilet had a crack in the bowl and leaked onto the floor (we just put towels around it so it didn't feel like we were sta... We stayed at the Lord Stanley for three days and we wishing we had a few more when we left. We really enjoyed this hotel and if you are planning to explore Stanley Park, there could not be a better location. It is within a block of the mouth of the park and has great views that overlook the park and the harbor. The hospitality presented by the man at the front desk was some of the finest we have experienced at any hotel in any city in all of our travels. I am bummed that I cannot remember ... Read more

Mixed use residential and guests. The good: super friendly, helpful staff, secure parking (extra charge) and secure bicycle storage. Very clean, nice grounds, full kitchen, washer/dryer. Excellent location for Stanley Park, bike trails, English Bay, fireworks viewing, Canada Place, shopping and eating on Robson, Denman and Gastown. Good value at this location. Not-so-good: rooms facing Georgia Ave suffer from traffic noise. A/C unit was a loud, portable noisy monster that didnâ??t manage to coo... Read more

We booked here because it is one of only a few places in downtown Vancouver that offers a bedroom, and the location is excellent. Be aware that this is NOT a hotel, it is a building of privately owned condominiums that are rented out by their owners through a management company. It doesn't make any difference to your stay, though, except that there is no pool etc. What's particularly great here is the gated underground parking; Vancouver has a real problem with vehicles being broken into so th... As a family, we have stayed at the Lord Stanley approximately 15 times on our annual summer vacation to Vancouver -- from the time our teenagers were toddlers. Here's why we keep coming back . . . The location is perfect for leaving your car parked in the basement and exploring the city by bicycle. The West End restaurant scene is fantastic for all tastes. Also a large grocery store, pharmacy, liquor stores and even a medical clinic are just a block or two away. We've needed all over the ... Read more
