Booked into this hotel with hubby and we stayed for three nights. Room was huge for a city centre hotel and the bed was so so so comfy. Best sleep for a while. From location point of view it is also one of the best. So close to the centre and you can walk everywhere.

Stayed here for 4 nights - what a great hotel for the price! We were greeted by a friendly and helpful receptionist, the hotel lobby is very modern, as was our room, which was huge and tastefully furnished. The bathroom was large (and yes, as previously mentioned, the shower can be seen fully through the window from the bedroom! But there is a blind which we just kept closed all the time). Wifi was free and the tablet provided was much appreciated to help with sightseeing, restaurants etc.... Read more

A 4 star modern hotel in close proximity to the centre of Vancouver yet quiet with a great choice of eating places. International (China) town not too far away. The hotel is relatively small making it more homely and friendly with very helpful staff especially the concierge who will arrange all your tours. Hotel room is comfortable, clean and modern. Enjoyed our 3 day stay and would recommend to other travellers.

Hotel Blu does a great job of being a simple yet classy place; no fuss/no muss. we've stayed in the Blu in NOLA as well as in Vancouver. i definitely recommend it if you want to be a bit upscale and not worry about things like cleanliness and efficiency. It easily passes all those tests and more.

We just stayed for one night at this hotel, and I'm really not sure what to think about it. It seemed it was either amazing or terrible, depending on what you're rating. We booked a King loft suite, which is two floors and huge. We did this as we were traveling with my two children. This room was amazing- beautiful, clean, modern and comfortable. Would have loved to drag there, however the shower was broken, and they didn't have any more of this room, so they moved us to a king signature suite, ... Read more

The room was clean and the bed was comfortable, if a little soft. The glass viewing wall between the bedroom and bathroom was strange, thankfully there was a roller shade to pull down. When I asked at the front desk if they had a restaurant guide for the area, I was told "There are lots of restaurants in walking distance." But, though they had a map with every hotel in the neighborhood (except apparently, their own), there were no menu guides or restaurant lists so we could tell what might ... Read more

The good location downtown is this hotels main selling point (and the fabulous breakfast). Other than this the hotel is mediocre and is overpriced imo. Reception staff were not great on arrival and there was no concierge or offer of help with our bags. Also we had to wait for the valet parking guy as he was unavailable on our arrival. Hotel has no bar area for guests which was a major downside for us

I chose this hotel as requested by my son ( because it's his birthday), even the rate is too high. He enjoyed the pool the first time we stayed here, but not the recent. Filthy. Not sure what are those white stuff floating. O.O . However, room was clean and front desk staff were very helpful..

Love to visit Hotel BLU when we are in Vancouver. Great location, beautiful decor, and, until now, great views. Many of the buildings in that part of town are lower in height, so you're not looking at an urban jungle out the window. We really like that. We love the open air and sunshine around the hotel, and the view towards False Creek and Terry Fox Plaza -- and the awesome light show at BC Place at night!
