Holiday Inn Vancouver Centre continues to be the hotel of choice on any visit to Vancouver. Yes, there are other great hotels in Vancouver but for overall satisfaction value and service, the Centre cannot be beat. From the friendly and very well trained front desk personnel to the floor service people and, of course, Paul for evening room service your stay will be very satisfying. Centrally located with easy transportation access and out of the downtown core, the traveller can go anywhere with e... Read more

Holiday Inn Vancouver Centre was a good choice for us for our two-day side trip after visiting friends in Seattle. The room was clean, the bed was comfortable and we had all the amenities including good WiFi and a view of the mountains. There were plenty of restaurant choices in the neighborhood, including the restaurant in the hotel. The location was great because it was easy to come and go and we didn't experience the crowds of the downtown area. I would definitely recommend this hotel to ... Read more

Came to Vancouver after staying in a higher end hotel in Vegas for 5 days prior (Cosmopolitan) - wife and I both agree the Holiday Inn was much more pleasant, easier to use and more comfortable! Very convenient with many nice restaurants nearby (try Rogue!) and a comfortable walk to Granville Island. Rooms very quiet with excellent beds and pillows.

Take another hotel rather than thisThe hotel tells that they have an indoor heated swimming pool and after we went in it was very cold . The breakfast is not great . The rooms are very small. Too expensive for the amenities offered

Just two blocks from the Train, conveniently way to get from and to the airport. The place is fine, what you expect of a Holiday Inn. From the Train Station you can be in downtown in 15 minutes after a 5 minute walk.

I took a couple of rooms for a family function and was pleasantly surprised by the cleanliness and restaurant. Check in was easy as was the check out.. the restaurant is very good with a fairly extensive menu and good prices. Location is great as well.

Stayed here on our way to Saskatoon. Easy check-in, clean rooms. Very quiet and comfortable. Walking distance to good restaurants and a Skytrain terminal. Unfortunately did not eat at the restaurant, so cant rate this. Friendly staff. Will stay again if I'm in the area.

My family had a family emergency in Vancouver and we flew in on a few hours notice. We are a family of 5. We were needing to be near Vancouver General Hospital and this hotel is right behind it. There are only 2 hotels within a 5 min walk of this hospital. We found a suite (I'm not sure if it has actual suites with kitchens) with 2 queen beds and a sofa pull out. I find most hotels have 2 doubles, but this was 2 queen size beds which we prefer. Everything was fabulous. Black out curtains, it w... Read more

Beds are a little hard for me. Pillows were amazing. Clean quiet place. Friendly staff. Spacious room. This was perfect for our trip. Walked to dinner and back. Walked to a park. Breakfast in the morning was good but overpriced. We enjoyed our stay and are booked to stay a night on our return from our cruise.

One week by year, I'm in Vancouver for a business trip.I do it since 2011. I choose Holiday Inn west broadway year after year since the beginning. The location is perfect to take the bus and subway. The hotel staff is kind and helpful A quiet room, a nice balcony. Everything was perfect as usual!

We found this Holiday Inn to be centrally located and a convenient walk to almost everything in downtown Vancouver. The staff was helpful and the room spacious - not the newest decor in town, but very nice. We would stay there again.

Checkin procress is preety smooth, the hotel is very close to the Vancouver skyline train station. So it is easy to go anyway such as cruise port or airport. The room is bit of old, but very clean and neat. The beds are very comfortable also. Nice place to stay if you visit the city.

I really enjoyed staying at the Holiday Inn Vancouver Centre and found it to be professionally operated. The self park in their on-site covered parking lot was extremely handy (don't take a ticket as they'll put the $20 bucks charge on your hotel bill). Check-in was cheery and very informative, with a gift as an IHG Rewards member. I asked for and received a high floor, far from the elevator and very quiet. Rooms are spacious, clean, and very well presented with lovely modern furniture. The balc... Read more

We booked this hotel because we were part of a group meeting in Vancouver for a few days. We thoroughly enjoyed the central location and the room was spacious and nicely decorated. The two sinks in the bathroom were great. The WiFi worked well as did the TV. As IHG members, we received a free morning newspaper at our door. We came in from the airport by SkyTrain and walked the three blocks to the hotel (weather was lovely!). We bought day tickets for the transit system and had fun exploring the ... Read more

It was a comfortable room, the employees were great. Probably need to plan on using public transporation, uber/lyft, or driving if you stay here. There are some great areas around if you go up main street (again, drive there) for some awesome shops, great thai food, and more!

Very nice hotel but pricy. One perfect example of getting what you pay for. Not central location but thankfully Vancouver public transit is decent. Being away from downtown and other attractions is a bonus if you are looking for more relaxed and quiet place to spend the night.

Nice area around the hotel, short walk to Granville Island and False Creek - downtown accessible from here in a fun Aquabus. Near the hotel are buses, Skytrain and taxis to downtown too. Rooms are clean and comfortable, don't bother with the balcony rooms, there is no furniture to sit out there on. Views away from Broadway might be better. Breakfast was good, just what we needed.

At close to 300 a night I expect better service than a roadside motel yet this hotels had inferior service to the motels I stayed in along the road to Vancouver that were less than half the price. Cool, unfriendly staff and a very small room. The day we left we wanted to make a coffee but there was only enough supplies for one in the room. Don't try to order a drink for the room from the bar downstairs! I was coolly told by the bartender who looked me up and down that they prefer you call room ... Read more

This is a great hotel in a good location, within walking distance of some nice shops, attractions and restaurants. The rooms have been recently updated and are very nicely decorated (the bed in particular was super comfortable!). Everything was also very clean and I had a beautiful view from the window in my room. In addition, I found the front desk staff to be quite friendly and helpful throughout my stay. The price per night was also pretty reasonable compared to many other hotels in the area.

In a quieter location, two blocks from train station along West Broadway and a quick ride to Canada Place. Lovely rooms with awesome views of the city and bay with great sunsets as an extra. Rooms were spotless and well furnished. Excellent breakfast included. Meals in the restaurant were very tasty and well priced. I would throughly recommend this hotel.

Stayed here with my family in two rooms. As usual, the holiday Inn gives you what they promise, great staff, clean and comfortable accomendations. The pool is decent and water is clear and warm. Unfortunately, parking is extra and the restuarant is to be avoided at all cost! Unless of course you like your food overcooked and unedible (seriously) and restuarant staff seemed unconcerned about it when confronted. But, other than the food, (plenty of places near the hotel are good), I definately re... Read more

We stayed here for a few days while visiting Vancouver. The hotel was very clean. The room was very clean and housekeeping kept it that way. The staff was very nice at the front desk and in the restaurant. The location is not in the downtown area of Vancouver so you will need to take a taxi or bus to get to attractions. Our stay met all our needs but glad we only slept in the room since the quarters were a little tight for two 12 year olds and me. The beds were comfortable, room clean and staff very helpful so, after getting over the high price of Vancouver hotels generally, it was a good stay. We enjoyed the walk to Granville Island, along False Creek and the easy Skytrain access took us quickly and efficiently to downtown sights or (going the other way) the airport. I stayed at the Holiday Inn for four nights, it was quite nice and simple, but the only problem was when you were sleeping the air conditioning would turn off because you wouldn't of been moving, which made it kind of hard to have a good nights sleep. My family and I stayed in this hotel and it had a very friendly environment. We stayed on the eleventh floor and we had a breathtaking view of downtown Vancouver, the mountains and the ocean. There was a nice publicly used laundry room and a big indoor pool. The only disadvantage for my sister and grandmother was that the air conditioner turned off when movement stopped in the room like at night which made the room sort of warm but not too bad for me. This hotel is located two blocks from the Canada Line, which is a convenient and inexpensive way to travel to/from downtown and the airport. In addition, there were taxis parked in front of the hotel both times I needed one. My room was located near the elevator but I did not experience any problems with noise. The bed was very comfortable (and I'm usually picky about beds). The air conditioning unit was loud, unless you turned it to the "fan only" setting. The room had a large desk/dresser wit... Read more
