The Greenbrier hotel provides very comfortable accommodations for a stay in one of the best locations in Vancouver. The hotel is in the west end, on Robson Street, just blocks away from Downtown, Coal Harbour and the seawall that takes you to Stanley Park. There are plenty of restaurants, coffee shops, grocery shopping (Whole Foods and Safeway) and shopping within walking distance. The rooms (really they are suites) are equipped with kitchens so you can make your own food. When we arrived in t... Read more

We did not want to pay hundreds a night for a whole week, so we stayed at this hotel a few blocks from the waterfront and about 15 minutes by foot from the convention center. For a longer stay, this place makes sense, but do NOT expect the sort of cushy surroundings you'd find in pricier hotels. Bed--not remarkably comfortable, but we slept well enough. Towels--nothing fancy; they're smallish and somewhat thin, but clean and replaced every day. Kitchen area--actually pretty good: If you have a... Read more

I traveled most of the time and have found Greenbrier Suites Hotel in Robson - a home of comfort and a place where front office staff exercise welcoming service attitude. U109 that we had - area was cleaned regularly, spacious suited for a family. Food and clothing outlet just a walking distance, indeed a right choice of place to experience. I'll be considering this hotel in my next visit in Van City.

This was one of the nicest little suites I have stayed,,, the front desk staff went out of their way to help make our planned events easy to find and explained the different options for getting around. They even printed google maps for us! The room was clean and comfortable...everything we needed from full size fridge and stove to two ever comfortable full size beds!! We will be staying there again!

This place is very old, has no elevator and everything about it needs a remodel. I was making a quick trip to Vancouver from the USA and got the first place I could find. The bed felt like I was sleeping on the floor. For my second night I had time to shop around and For about $10 more I got a very nice high rise hotel that felt very luxurious. The only plus was the staff were very sweet.

Stayed here for 3 days with my husband & Granddaughter. Supposed to be a suite with kitchen. Nothing but a coffee pot & a stove- had to ask for3 sets of utensils & something to cook in. No microwave or even a toaster. Staff at front desk very nice but this hotel is awful. No elevator - we were on 3rd floor - 4th from parking. Charged us $40.00 to check in 2 hours early! Room was ready not like they had to rush to have it made up. Windows did not lock - great with a child! Windows were... Read more

Just spent 5 nights at this property while attending a conference in Vancouver! Location is superb in a great neighborhood for shopping and 10-20 minute walk from everything else! Front desk staff were phenomenal and always cheerful. The lobby coffee was a great element. I did stay in an executive suite on the 3rd floor, while simple, it had everything you would need. For utensils, etc. you do need to ask for them (not a problem). Keep in mind that check-in is not early and 3 PM is the firm time... Read more

We were very pleased with our stay at the hotel since not sure of location or what to expect since small independent hotel. Arrived at hotel after midnight and staff available at desk for check in. Location great as located closer to Stanley Park than to commercial area of Robson. Many restaurants and shops available and great breakfast spot across street. Room clean, housekeeping accommodating with requests and suite included bedroom, large common area with table set with china etc and comfort... Read more

Just came home from a visit to Vancouver and the Greenbrier was a great place stay. There is nothing fancy about the hotel. It is older, but clean. We had a small kitchenette with stove and fridge and coffee maker. There are no elevators, but being that it's only 3 stories tall, it's not a problem as long as you don't come with lots of heavy luggage. We could walk to Canada Place and the Vancouver Convention Centre in 15-20 minutes. There is a Starbucks a block away, Cora's (breakfast and lunch... Read more

We paid 1000 dollars for 3 days , Wi-Fi terrible, no intention of any kitchen accessories no parking, the TV has only a few working channels, staff is friendly but that is not enough after paying so much money...probably better book out of season...not worth more then 70 Dollar's

The location of this hotel was perfect. The hotel is an older building, has no elevator and does need a lot of repair. The room was spacious and the beds were fairly comfortable. There was a vent fan in the bathroom that was on the same switch as the light - so it was on all the time the light was on. That fan was really noisy & annoying. What made this hotel really special is the staff - they were all "super". As far as correcting things~ they had no authority as they would always have to ... Read more

While the rooms DO have a kitchen ( the place is a former apartment building), that's about all it has. No elevator, no a/c and the cooking equipment consisted of a dirty frying pan and a saucepan from the drugstore down the street. No microwave, and the stove allows you to use the burners OR the oven, but not at the same time. We needed a can opener. They did provide one after asking for it at the front desk. There was a dishcloth, an ancient sponge and dish soap in a reused shampoo bottle. Ope... Read more
