Fairmont Hotels are known for quality service and extraordinary facilities. The Fairmont Pacific Rim is no exception. Beautifully appointed modern rooms, a state of the art fitness center, good spa . All in the best area of Vancouver. An easy walk to the Downtown shopping or to Stanley Park. Beautiful views of the Bay I stayed at the Fairmont Gold level where service and attention are even more exceptional. Great Hotel to stay at in Vancouver

I recently stayed for 4 nights in a "gold" designated room giving me free internet, lounge privileges, etc. No request was too small from the front desk to checking out. Efficiency was accomplished without being pretentious. If there is a problem, it is quickly addressed and solved. While a hotel should be comfortable, the Pacific Room went beyond the standard expectations.

Recently stayed a few night at this property Liked : Location , friendly staff , Active lobby , good bar and Sushi Disliked : Key to access room in elevator was a occasional pain. This is a very very nice Fairmont property in Vancouver .... The seemed to deserve the #1 rating in Vancouver on TripAdvisor. The rooms are large modern and have all the business like amenities one would expect. Would not hesitate ( if the price is right ) to stay there again ..... Check in was smooth , friendly ... First off, I actually did not stay at the Pac Rim this trip, I stayed at the Hyatt as that was the hotel my company booked me into. My husband stays between the Pac Rim and the Waterfront when he stays in Vancouver, and always the night before returning, the airport. I am lucky to accompany him fairly often, and share his love of the fairmont chain. Anyway, a group of three of us wanted oysters badly so we decided on the raw bar at the Pac Rim for a lunch while in town on business. we ordered... Read more

Great location, amazing service and best food is how I describe the PRim. Everyone is made to feel special. From the folks at the raw bar to the great team who open the breakfast at ORU at 6:30 am, everything is top notch. Their spa is also phenomenal - ask for Tina for a deep tissue massage. She's a real pro ! Can't wait to be back.

As a Fairmont Platinum member for over 15 consecutive years (staying on average 80 nights a year at Fairmont Hotels and close to 100 nights a year at other hotels), I have indeed had the privilege of being spoiled. That said, the staff and management at the Fairmont Pacific Rim are without question the BEST of the BEST! They ate professional, accommodating, sincere in their ultimate desire to ensuring your stay is the best it can possibly be and most of all, they have this wonderful way of makin... Read more

I recently stayed here for three nights. It is one of the best hotels I have ever stayed in. Clean, techno friendly, elegant, modern. The views are spectacular. If you want a real treat stay on the gold floor. The staff is exceptional. My room was not ready right away but the staff took care of everything seamlessly. Privacy and security are without a doubt top notch. You cannot access any floors without your key card. The rooms are very well sound proofed. The hotel is right across from the c... Read more

I chose this hotel because of the reviews here, and I cannot agree more. It's a first class Fairmont, perfect location to downtown, waterfront and Stanley Park. We stayed in the hotel for a business trip. The staff is very friendly and the check out went extremely well. The rooms are big and nicely decorated. What I found less convincing were the light switches. The IBUS standard offers many opportunities for ambient light but also takes some time to get used to it and to find the right switches for a total switch off.

Stayed here for two nights before our cruise. The rooms are immaculate and the service awesome. Here's what separates it from other options: 1. Proximity to cruise terminal 2. Rooms are very posh with high tech options for connectivity, and smart home type controls of lights, curtains and more 3. Kid friendly 4. Connected to the best Gelato in the city (awarded in Italy) 5. Free car service to drive you around town

When we arrived we did not get that type of room but rather an oval air jets type tub. I went to the gold check in area and explained my concern and that it was a special occasion for us. We were booked into this hotel for a few days for a business function. Our room #1401 was beautiful with a wonderful view of the water. I agree with John D regarding the modern luxury. The lounge in the lobby had many great live musicians that changed every two hours or so. The location is within walking distance or the "hop-on-hop off' shuttle for sightseeing, shopping, and restaurants. This is a beautiful hotel in a beautiful city.

We had a great stay here in June. We arrived at around 8:30/9am, from an overnight flight from Hawaii, and the staff were very apologetic that they couldn't give us our room early, as they were quite full. Of course, this was no issue, as we were super early for check-in; we were just hoping to drop our bags and pass the day off-site. I really did appreciate how sincerely they cared that we would want our room early (again, if possible), and ensured that the cleaning staff prioritized our room. ... Read more

The car service is incredible with luxury cars and attentive drivers. Our needs were always met with umbrellas, water and very good advice at every turn. The hotel itself is beautiful, modern and high tech. We had a beautiful view of the harbor and were tempted to never leave. The food was great... Read more

This is a very nice hotel. Absolutely attentive staff. Was there for convention. Very nice that you can take Canada line train from the Airport and be within a couple blocks of hotel at the Waterfront Station. Will definitely try to return to this property in the future for vacation.

My wife and I rarely get away, and were truly looking forward to our stay at the Fairmont Pacific Rim. The Fairmont is a fantastic hotel. The service was impeccable. Unfortunately, the Spa had virtually no availability, even though we stayed their for a week. We were also woken up at 3AM by a misdirected call from the front desk, making it very difficult to sleep. I am hopeful the Fairmont will look into and resolve these issues. For a hotel of this high quality and service level, it is th... Read more

The only bad experience I have: I ordered a burger at the lounge/bar area on the main floor. It took them 45 mins to serve it to me. I had to ask 3 different ladies in gowns to check up on my order until it finally arrived. It also took them half an hour to finally offered me and my mom popcorn while waiting. I find the servers to be a little snobby to me maybe because I was only on my track pants and a sweater that time. It seemed like the servers had prioritized those who wore suits and gowns.... After a stunning and relaxing drive down the Sea to Sky Highway from Whistler to Vancouver's Airport, my flight plans were chewed to pieces by The Lion's Gate Bridge traffic jam. While sitting in gridlock, accepting my fate, I decided to take the "when life gives you lemons" approach to the situation and headed to the Fairmont Pacific Rim for the night. What a great decision, because the experience was top drawer from the moment I handed the keys to the Valet. I was received warmly at the front ... Read more

I cannot speak highly enough of this place. With a great downtown location, the hotel has a modern, luxurious decor, yet is very welcoming from the moment you arrive until you depart. Their service was intuitive, attentive but not over-bearing. I had an accident in the hotel bathroom, resulting in a cut to my hand, and they dispatched someone right away, dressed my hand with bandages, and moved me to another room, with speed and courtesy. They exceed your expectations, with a friendly genu... Read more

Pros - roomy suite, great choice of decor. no check-in line, helpful desk clerk and concierge. Cons - noisy lobby. Would have been 5-stars, but Room 806 was advertised as a Harbor View. It is not. Most of the "harbor view" is blocked by a building directly in front of it. You are looking at its roof. Pretty amazing that a world class hotel needs overhype its room description just to make a few more bucks. First and last time at this hotel for us.

I enjoyed a stay here last week to celebrate my girlfriend's birthday, as we have done for the last couple of years. From start to finish, this was another amazing experience at this hotel. The service provided by the friendly staff is top notch and the facility itself is beautiful. We enjoyed the Gold lounge repeatedly and found the food absolutely delicious and the staff extremely welcoming. I would recommend this hotel without hesitation to anyone wishing to enjoy an amazing escape.

The hotel is one of the best we've ever stayed at. We have traveled the world and stayed at some pretty swanky places. This hotel is modern but still full of warmth. The staff is excellent from the doormen to the housekeeping team. The lobby bar is also great for a drink and some live entertainment every night! Our kids loved all the automated features in the hotel room operated via iPad! Great location. Could walk most places and close to the convention center and sea wall!

Luxury lies in details. This hotel dedicated great efforts to provide the guests satisfactory experiences. We were very impressed by the professionalism yet warmness demonstrated throughout the management team and staffs. A box of German manufactured candy with GM's beautiful handwriting greeting card were delivered to the room when we arrived. A small size cute and fluffy bath robe was provided for my son. I can go on and on with all the staffs on good floor, the front desk, the concierge and t... Read more

What a beautiful hotel! We upgraded to the Coal Harbor Corner Suite and it was definitely worth the extra money. The room was luxurious and the attention paid to us just right. The breakfast buffet was amazing. We are still talking about it. This was a special mother/daughter trip and we will have memories for a lifetime. My only suggestion would be to allow spa services for individuals under the age of 18 with parental permission. We had to visit another spa so my 16 year old could join.... Read more

My family travelled to Vancouver from Calgary so that I could attend the Fan Expo Vancouver as an Exhibitor helping to sell my brothers graphic novels USNA and USNA II. As President Club members of the Fairmont hotels, and with the Pacific Rim across the street from the Convention Centre, it was a natural for us to treat ourselves to a superb property. Our experience did not disappoint. We splurged and got two rooms on the Gold Floor. We were warmly greeted by name, by Patrick at the front door... Read more

A stunning hotel with exemplary customer service. I arrived on a Saturday afternoon and before I even got out of the cab, the bellman had taken my suitcase out of the trunk and looked at my luggage tag for my name. He greeted me by name and advised that he had called the front desk to tell them I had arrived. At the front desk, I was welcomed, given my keys and Gaelle walked me to the elevator taking my luggage with her. The rooms are beautiful with rich wood. I had a king bed with harbo... Read more
