Very comfortable stay!!! Great service!! And the pool area was awesome!!! Very fun water slide. This hotel is one of the better hotels in Valemount by far. I would not stay in any other hotel in Valemount. Whenever I go to Valemount this is where I will stay!!!

We stopped here overnight . I looked online and phoned the hotel to see if they would give me the same rate booking through them directly. Nope! This never makes sense to me but whatever. The room we booked was a very reasonable online rate and came with free breakfast and free internet. Imagine our surprise when we got to the room to find a sitting area complete with fireplace, fridge, microwave. Then a look in the bathroom revealed a 2 person Jacuzzi tub. Service here was great and the roo... Read more

After staying in Kamloops CBVI I was worried on what we were going to get when we stopped here on the way home. But we were very happy with the room and service. Price is right as well. It's right on the highway and very easy access. If you are in the area pick this hotel.

This inn was a last-minute choice when we had a change of travel plans. When we arrived at this inn, we were unfavorably impressed. After checking in, we went to park our car at the side of the building. When we got out of our car, we saw a white kitchen garbage bag lying on the ground, with contents falling out of it. That was my first unfavorable impression. The second was the garbage can next to the entrance door which was about to overflow with garbage. There were problems: My husban... Read more

My family and I were on a road trip and needed a halfway point to stay overnight and Valemount seemed the best option. I chose the is hotel based on price. While other hotels were almost 300 a night, the Value Inn was 140 plus tax. You get what u pay for but as we only needed a place to lay our heads it was okay. Old towels, frayed carpet, smoke smell in the hallway, poor bathroom but we slept okay on the average beds and we're out by mid morning. Nothing special but okay

Perhaps if you really need to stop over in Valemount, then not much choice. Plastic cups, plates and cutlery at breakfast (a first for us). Beds awfwl, pillows awful, no sinks in bathroom, not sure who designed this place..

If you want to spend your hard-earned money, stay somewhere else! Poor quality beds, dirty sofa (stains), ripped carpet, noisy fan in bathroom and you can hear the neighbors! Wifi service is slow, although supposed to be fast. Would not recommend for the atrocious price of $199.00 for a jacuzzi suite!

This was probably the most average place I've ever stayed. The rooms were okay but not great. Breakfast was okay but not great. Staff was okay but not great. It's a pretty typical small-town hotel that (generally) is set up to cater to people working in the area.

I booked the hotel and THEN read the reviews so I was a bit worried but was pleasantly surprised. Room was clean, and quite lovely. They've obviously made some recent upgrades. My only complaint would be the horrible plastic utensils for the continental breakfast. If you're not going to provide stainless steel knives to cut my waffle, at least spend a little more and get higher quality utensils. Otherwise, all the staff were very accommodation and it was a great stay.

At reception the network was down and we had to come again for closing our account. The complimentary breakfast was served in cardboard cups and plastic plates. As there was a coach of far east visitors leaving at the same time we had to rub our elbows to get some seat and food. Just accross the road the is a park beside the visitor centre with spawning salmons.

We stayed here on our wAy through, because we were to tired to drive any further. The rooms were good but not quite finished. Trim was missing along floor, and stuff like that. Also there was a ginormous spider on our balcony that looked prehistoric and someone had to of noticed it and should of moved it, my husband had to kill it! The breakfast promised waffles and there were none!

Our room looked over the pool - however it is an indoor pool! This meant the air conditioning was sucking in chlorinated air that made our eyes sting. There was a serious amount of noise and screaming from the pool and the only window opened over the indoor pool area pulling in yet more stale chorine fumes. It was immediately across from a corridor window where everyone stopped to look! Definitely could not be opened for very long - when did Room 212 last get a breath of fresh air! Curtains... Read more

Tired driving down the highway to Vancouver, Me and my wife decided to spend the night at Canadas best value inn. Our room was very dirty, carpet wasn't vacuumed properly, there were popcorn behind the beds and blood stains on the sheets. Breakfast room was over crowded and very noisy , so we decided to skip it. Thats not it, we brought our concerns to the front desk guy at checkout but he seemed uninterested and looked away(laughing) without offering any apology. This was very unprofessional. I... Read more

Don't skip the breakfast! You'll get a chance in your life to try the worst coffee! To he fair, if you are only looking for a place to sleep overnight, this could be the place. It offers nothing more. Don't expect too much.

Although it has a brand new sign the place is run down. We were met at the front counter by an indifferent person who was not forth coming with any knowledge of the area. When we got to our room you could smell that it had been a smoking room and was very dated. The AC did not work and the bath room was dirty. We attempted to use the swimming pool and it was ice cold, the hot tub was warm and the entire area was dirty. We ask the front counter were we could dine and was informed that there was a... One night stay while travelling through - won't stay again. room was in need of some repairs to drywall. Mattress was way too soft. Both bedspreads were visibly dirty with "unknown" filth. Sheets were clean but very wrinkled. Towels were grungy looking. Glad to check out and be on our way in the morning. When we complained about the bedspreads, a replacement came very quickly and the staff member was very apologetic. Clearly not her fault but she was sorry. Yuck!

This is best hotel so far we stayed , while we were on vacation from Winnipeg. The rooms were nice and clean upto the mark . Breakfast was bonus and our kids really enjoyed the pool. Checking was petty easy and the night person was very nice and friendly. We really enjoyed our stay.

The bed were very comfortable suitable for having a great nap. I specially called them to know what quality beds they have. Ignore other reviews i would say this is the best place in town!

Stayed for one night with tour group. Didn't find the hotel very clean nor comfortable. Will not visit again. Not much in the vicinity but wifi is free and speed is alright. More of a transit stop when traveling from Rockies to Vancouver

Great nights sleep! The front desk lady was wonderful! She (Prap was her name) went out of her way to help and made us feel so welcome! The breakfast room was a bit busy so she went out of her way to apologize, make us a key so we could eat in our room we had checked out of already. Thank you for caring, Prap.

On arrival reception staff was efficient, informative and welcoming. On entering our room (119) we were greeted with an overwhelming odour! We were given a new room (105) immediately. This room was a triple queen. The room provided toiletries and towels however, the towels were not the whitest and in fact had make up stains on one. The beds were comfortable however, did check to see if the bed linen was clean as it was obviously not ironed. This room also had a couple of mound patches on the cei... Read more

We stayed one night before going on to Jasper then down to Banff on Hwy 93. The front desk staff were efficient, the room was a deluxe king suite, first floor room with a gas fireplace. Huge Jacuzzi tub and toilet in the bathroom with the vanity sink and counter in the entrance hall. Personally, this does not work as I am an early riser and therefore would disturb my sleeping wife while brushing my teeth in the bedroom. The room had a couch, coffee table and tub chair, all very comfortable. Lot... Read more

If this is your only choice keep on driving!! It is cheap by Canadian Rockies standard and there is a reason for it. Untrained staff, needs repair and not so clean! The only highlight is there is lots of parking for anything!

Stopped here for the night after a long drive down the Southern Yellowhead Highway coming through the Canadian Rockies. It was a sight for sore eyes! The hotel is within walking distance to just about everything in town. The staff were helpful and courteous and the room was clean, comfortable beds, and good breakfast in the morning. All for a great price. I'd recommend this hotel without reservation! Good stop over!
