Stayed at this hotel last week....checked in at 5am after a long flight. To begin with....the place is a dump!!!.....the front lobby looks ok upon arrival but beyond that...it's a different story....filthy carpets...graffiti on the walls....garbage all over the place and overflowing garbage barrels in the hallway.....wallpaper peeling off walls...room was dingy ....not enough lighting....and they had the nerve to ask for a $100 damage deposit upon check in!!!.....which was refundable. If that's ... Read more

Booked room for one night with one week parking flying out of Toronto's Pearson Airport. The hotel is a total disgrace. Dirty, in dire need of maintenance with paper thin walls. Although it is located in a sketchy part of Toronto there is absolutely no security for the cars. They are left in a parking lot with no cameras, no fencing. Plus the airport shuttle runs every hour on the hour. We stayed a few hours without sleeping due to thenoise from the next room and checked out. When explain... Read more

Upon arriving at the hotel, we noticed children running up and down the hallways, walls were scribbled on, garbage everywhere and groups of people hanging out. Next we were told that the hotel was being used for Syrian Refugees, which we have no problem with. However the lack of cleanliness and lack of calm and quiet, there is no excuse for that. We were unable to sleep and my husband had to go out in the hallway asking for the children to stop screaming and running up and down the hallways. ... Read more

After finally arriving in Toronto all we wanted was to get a little sleep before we had to head to the airport for an international flight. The room had holes in the wall. The faucet handles just spun and spun without a drop of water. there were holes in the shower curtain, wallpaper peeling, the TV was half broken. It had been a long drive from the States so after we were able to digest where we were staying our whole party cried with laughter because this place is a joke! I wish I would have t... Read more

Booked this a park and stay hotel . I checked and was told that this hotel had been used as Syrian Refugee housing , but that as of May , the hotel was back to normal hotel function . So not the case !!! Arrived in lobby to refugees just hanging out in lobby and at the doorways . Young kids riding bikes through the hall . I asked desk clerk what the story was , he said 6 families remained, no way unless their families are over 10 persons each . I paid over a hundred dollars for my one night stay... Read more

The place is filthy and reeks of cigarette smoke (even though it is supposedly smoke free). The swimming pool had no water in it. The internet does not work. Free breakfast consists of toast and coffee. Furniture is ancient. Wallpaper has stains and tears on every interior wall. They do have free parking, but it is about half a kilometre from the back entrance.

You have been warned, worst Hotel I have ever stayed at. Breakfast consisted of toast, cereal,l coffee and juices. Seating is filthy, I would not sit there. No water in the swimming pool. It took over 10mins to get someone to answer the phone, I was at Toronto airport and needed a shuttle pick us up, after 12hrs of flying the last thing I needed was to wait for over 10mins to get to talk to someone, then another 25mins to get picked up. Could not wait to get out of there.

Booked a room for the night and were put in room 258. First- the hotel staff is great. The guy at the front desk was super friendly and helpful. He got us a mini fridge sent to our room since we had medical supplies that needed to be refrigerated. The lobby is nice, the hallway could use some work but they are currently doing renos. Our room- AWFUL. There is a bullet hole in the window (as pictured), cigarette burns on the toilet seat and the blankets, everything is nicotine stained (despite it... Read more

This hotel was the worst I have ever stayed at. I have travelled extensively for business and we were appalled at the condition it was in, I barely know where to begin. Was it the 2 cockroaches in an empty food container, the bedbug on my friend's pillow (which was reported to the Toronto Board of Health), perhaps the massive fighting in the hallway between 3-4 am that had us frightened beyond belief or maybe it was the lack of any ice and a 15 minute wait to obtain some from the retaurant? For starters, the management (Front Desk Manager Yash is a complete Douche) is awful. Very inconsiderate, not at all friendly and absolutely the worst customer service I have ever experienced. I travel constantly for business and personal reasons and this place is a disaster. Hotel is more like a cheap hostel. Agree with mostly everyone that this may be the worst "hotel" in the area.

I am dumbfounded that Expedia would even recommend this hotel to its guests. We booked a flight+hotel deal that included this hotel because it gave us the most convenient and affordable flight to YYZ on an airline brand that we trust. We did not check into this hotel until past midnight. Upon arrival, we immediately felt uneasy because it was near Jane St (where drug busts often happen) and there was a man arguing with the front desk staff regarding a lady in the lobby who appeared to be a prost... First I have to say that the hotel staff were great. The front lobby was nice. The rest of the hotel was filthy, the dirt was ground in to the carpet, the wallpaper was peeling, missing chunks and scribbled on. The smell was terrible. There was a bug crawling around the bathroom. And the place didn't feel safe. I was only staying for one night, but didn't make it that far. When my husband saw the place he immediately booked us into another hotel. I think the Toronto Plaza Hotel could be beautifu... Read more

Where to start... I read all of the reviews on this hotel before I stayed here. I was curious to see if it was as bad as everyone said it was. First off, they are renovating the main floor, and pool. Although I feel that the renovations need to be made everywhere, this is a good start. Once checked in I made my way up to the room. The one elevator that they have was out of service for a few hours. This was annoying seeing that we had to carry all of our luggage up four flights of stairs, with my... Read more

I decided to reserve this hotel because it was near the Pearson Airport in Toronto. I was hoping at least a half way decent hotel that would suit my needs but that wasn't the case. My flight from West Palm Beach was delayed. I ended up being rerouted from LaGuardia to Atlanta. By the time I got to the hotel, it was already 2:00 a.m. in the morning. I just needed a room where I could take a shower and go straight to bed. The hotel room had a bad odor that my nose eventually got accostomed t... Read more

We read reviews before booking but since we were only staying 1 night on a quick pass through to Maine, we figured "how bad could it be"? Awful. That's how bad. They're clearly in the process of renovating but it seems as though they're renovating everything at once but not one thing has been completed. Peeling wallpaper, spackle all over the hallway walls, the vending area where the ice machine would be was gutted and instead held bins of garbage, the pool was empty, no breakfast (although th... The staff was friendly but they are saddled with a hotel in really bad shape. Mildewy air, rusty sink, previous guest's makeup smeared on bathroom door. Hallway and exit doors without handles. Stay away until renovated! Pool drained, patio filled with garbage, visible vents stuffed with insulation.

We purposely booked this hotel because it advertised it had an indoor pool and Continental breakfast included. Hotel under renovation in an effort to update this dingy dirty hotel....pool was empty, no breakfast. ..we were told that kitchen under renovation so no breakfast available. Bed clean and super comfy, all staff very friendly and helpful.

The dirtiest most disgusting hotel We have ever been in. We travel quite a lot and use park and fly on a regular basis. The Toronto Plaza told us at time of booking it included breakfast. Upon check-in we were told "we don't do that anymore". After seeing how filthy the place was, to include room carpet so dirty it instantly turned your socks black and dried urine running down the side of the toilet and generally disgusting conditions. I am glad I did not get breakfast from such a filthy pla... Read more

We stayed there the night before a trip to Barbados and on our return also. The building is solid but in much need of repair and updating. Very large complex but a bit dingy. Parking lot poor condition, door to building from lot no lock steps in need of repair, food available but just OK, bar fit but many locals. On our return when I called for pickup the girl asked what terminal I was at and when I said "How would I know?" She replied "Don't be snotty with me! Ask someone!" I told her ... Read more

Had to change room...air conditioner not working. Next stay changed room because it was dark and dirty. This hotel needs a good cleaning, and drapes and bedspreads need to be replaced. Hotel advertised breakfast included in price of room but there was no breakfast and no discount for it. The pool was not up and running. I booked through Booking.com for this hotel and neither hotel or website take responsibility for advertising things that are not provided.
