I've stayed there many times. My room was not updated yet. Looking pretty worn. The bathrooms were rough, looked like mildew around the tub. The lobby is being renoed too so it was torn up. Front desk service was just ok - looking forward to seeing it refurbished next time I'm there.

I enjoyed my stay at the Westin Bristol Place at Toronto Airport area. I've stayed at many hotels in this area before, due to frequent trips to Toronto, and the Westin is by far one of the better ones. This time the stay lasted for 2 weeks, and the staff treated us quite well. They were friendly, including the servers at the restaurant as well as the shuttle drivers. The shuttle drivers are happy to drive us to other locations within a 5 min drive for free (although we usually tipped them), whic... Read more

The new rooms were large, well decorated, loads of outlets and lights, and overall a great rehab. The window shades look great but block a ton of light even though they are white--but the lighting options make up for that. I am looking forward to seeing how the public spaces get rehabbed and if they will look as attractive--i hope so. Also service was great at the front desk, bell man, van/valet driver, and at breakfast. Welld done for a hotel 5 minutes from the airport (or less) and with d... Read more

We booked this hotel for a layover on the way back from a vacation down south. As hotel stays go, there are plenty of good points - efficient airport shuttle, quick check-in, beautiful comfortable room. I was with a group and arrived late in the evening and many of my co-travelers were delighted to find a Subway next door and went over to avail of a quick and familiar snack. The issue that made this hotel stay less than comfortable was the way the staff handled an alarm situation. The alarm sys... Read more

We stayed at the Westin near the Pearson Airport for the value and convenience to the airport. As some other reviews have mentioned it is in need of renovation and they are in the middle of that project now. The room I had was nice, with modern furniture and amenities, such as USB chargers built in to a power outlet on the bed's headboard. The menu at their restaurant was sufficient for our needs, but didn't have a very full range of choices. Like some hotel restaurants, I felt the prices were o... Read more

Friendly staff on reception. The shuttle driver Mathew was especially helpful showed me how to get downtown via the airport using the UP transit for only $12 there and back! The pool and fitness are under renovation but we can use the next door hotels facilities with our room keys. There are lots of options within walking distance to eat.

The hotel is a great value for the area. The drive into downtown is not that bad if you time it right. The parking downtown is 12 bucks. We had a great time and the hotel staff were friendly and kind. The parking at the hotel is 22 bucks but is offset by their great rates. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. No complaints.

When my Delta flight got cancelled I was left with few options. Most other hotels in the area were already sold out. I was able to get a room at the Westin for a reasonable price. At check in, the desk clerk saw that I was not enrolled in their rewards program and was able to enroll me on the spot. She was very attentive and professional. The room was newly renovated and the bed was great! There are some signs of wear around the common areas of the hotel, but those issues appear to be in the p... Read more

I was in Toronto from Friday-Saturday for a sorority meeting in early August at the Westin Bristol Place Toronto Airport hotel was the chosen sleeping and conference venue for the weekend. The hotel was conveniently located about 5 minutes away from the Toronto Pearson International Airport and there was also a free shuttle that runs about every 30 minutes during their check in (3:00pm) and also available by calling. The shuttle driver was incredibly kind and offered some travel advice on how to... Read more

I am from the United States and came to Toronto for a business trip with a group where we stayed at Westin Bristol Place for the weekend. The service was wonderful, from everyone that we encountered. One of the front desk receptionists, Lucky, was very kind. He was willing to help me in whatever way he could have. I enjoyed my stay here in Toronto.

I stayed at the Westin for an all day conference and the overall staff was extremely friendly and helpful. The front desk man, Lucky made sure that our needs were accommodated to. This was very fortunate because our flight was much later than the check out time so he made sure we had a means of transportation. The manager also was extremely friendly and helpful, he showed us a great food spot and always made sure we were comfortable waiting in the lobby until our flight. Awesome place with aweso... Couldn't be more disappointed with this hotel, my insurance company booked this hotel late a night and agreed to pay not only the room but the pre-auth as well. Which is not an inconsiderable 250CAD ! So after waiting over 30 mins for the shuttle bus , arrived at the hotel and was told that messages weren't passed, in-spite of us standing in front of the person we were told to talk to. Then the wording of the fax that was sent wasn't quite right, could I call the UK and ask them to re do it.... Read more

We arrived before 5 pm, planning to shower and change before going out to dinner. When we arrived, the hotel had no power. It appears this was caused by the renovation going on in the hotel. The hotel was unable to give us our rooms and check us in. We called after dinner and there was still no power. when we checked with Westin / SPG, we were told that we could switch hotels, but we would have to pay 3X as much. We finally got checked in at 11 pm. Then we were awake in the middle of the night w... Read more

It was my girlfriends Birthday last weekend and upon arrival to the hotel, we couldn't check in, reasons being there was no power. I was beyond shocked that such a big organization had no contingency plan for any unforseen events such as what happened on Saturday. The agents weren't as helpful as well as they kept seeing they can't control what was going on. We are in 2016 not 1816 so the hotel not letting people be aware of the situation ahead of time is unacceptable. They were not helping in r... Read more

This hotel is one of the best bargains on the airport strip! Hotel is well kept, service is great...everything you would expect from a Westin Hotel. If you need to be near the airport, consider this property, convenient in many ways including your dining options...the Keg is literally across the street so you can walk back to your room after a glass of wine (or two).

The hotel is currently undergoing major renovations. If you use a wheelchair or other mobility device, now is not the time to visit. The Bristol Place has fond memories for me, as I stayed there on my wedding night, but I was appalled at the current state. Uneven carpet on the main floor made it difficult for my elderly mother who uses canes to walk. And the directions to the meeting rooms had us going up hill and down dale. Hardly accessible. The eating area in the basement was also grim. My a... Read more

We stayed there over Labor Day weekend. The sleeping rooms are all completely renovated. The common areas are undergoing a massive renovation. The pool and exercise room are fine. They are serving breakfast in a meeting room. The only other food service is room service. During renovation, you enter the hotel through the back door. The staff was very friendly. We got a room with an airport view; my child enjoyed watching the airplanes take off and land.

This hotel is ok... 3 star in my opinion not 4. Reasons? Cheap laminate floor in rooms, mattress is average, and most of all, you have no control over temp in your room. The reason for this is they have an old system (explained to me from the staff) that has two systems. This system somehow does not allow people to have control of AC in their room. So, you have a thermostat, but it is really just an on/off switch..and then will only cool your room to the pre-determined system temp set by the hot... Read more

Temporary entrance is at back - not well marked, so driver drops me a abandoned front entrance. Temporary entrance and elevators are filthy. Staff checks me in to a dirty room. Renovated room has all sorts of problems. Running toilet. Mystery holes in wall. Closet and bathroom doors don't shut correctly. I would have left, but was too tired. Worst Westin I've ever s... I have been staying at this hotel for over 25 years. Unfortunately, no one had informed us that the entire hotel is going through major renovation/construction. All general areas and restaurants are closed. In short, although the staff was very friendly, we did not enjoy our one week long stay :-( Newly renovated room was OK but does not meet the standard of a Westin. The Westin has a great view of the Toronto Skyline. It is convenient to the airport. The Concierge was fantastic in getting us reservations for dinner and discounts for attractions. They have a shuttle which will take you and pick you up not only from the airport but also local eateries. On the downside they charge for parking and internet service.

Feel silly but I didn't realize it was an airport hotel when I booked it via my company travel tool. The hotel is still being remodeled, no restaurants only room service I was in a new room which have vinyl "wood" floors. This makes things pretty loud as there is little to dampen the sound.
