Close to downtown, very clean, friendly and helpful staff. Room amenities included kitchenette, comfortable bed with fresh white linens, wifi at no extra charge, walk-in shower rather than tub. I would choose this hotel again.

I was bringing my daughter to Toronto to attend a show at the Sony Centre. I wanted to pick a hotel close by so that we could walk and not have to worry about parking at the venue. I had booked the hotel well in advance for the two of us and it was the only one that I could find that did not have a cancellation fee. My youngest daughter decided to come with us at the last minute so when we got to the hotel, we discovered that our room had only one bed. We called down to the desk and they adv... Read more

Good hotel located relatively centrally in downtown and very close to a subway stop. The hotel does not offer breakfast, but the excellent Wildfire restaurant is located on the ground floor for dinner and lunch. My deluxe room was clean, and complete with cutlery and crockery for two, plus an adequate kitchenette if you want to self-cater. (A block or 2 away from a Metro supermarket.) The room also offers a washer and dryer in the room. Unfortunately, the room was in need of some love, with... Read more

Hotel is 27 stories with 5 suites per floor. It is just off Yonge Street, 1 block south of King Street. Easy access to the King Street subway station and street car. We had a room facing south, over the street. Street noise was not an issue, although there was a constant humming coming from somewhere. The rooms are modern. This means clean lines, low furniture, functual. If you have hip/knee problems, you may have issues getting down into and out of the bed and couch. We loved having the ... Read more

While the hotel in right downtown in the heart of everything, they do not have good signage to show the hotel from the street. They are on a side street, with no obvious parking close by. They do have valet but you have to find someplace to put your vehicle and then go in and tell them you need valet service at $40 a pop. Front desk is very small, but the service is lovely and they go out of their way to make up for any our case the parking issue! We had a great room and alt... Read more

My husband and I took a couple of days off to have a week-end in Toronto. This hotel is incredible! Very well located (approx. 10-15 mins walk from CN Tower). The check-in was very fast and at the check-out, the personnel agreed to keep my bag until my flight at 6:00 pm. The room was big and verry convinient. We had a washing maching and a dryer in our room. So it was really nice and practical. The personnel is very sweet

Hotel itself is great. Convenient location, clean rooms (more like a studio apartment - you get a little kitchen with laundry facilities, which was really helpful), and on the whole, friendly and welcoming staff. I guess our stay here was let down by one member of staff on reception. Upon checking in, there were two members of staff at the desk. One man proceeded to check us in, whilst the other was watching something on his laptop and laughing to himself. Seemed a bit odd whilst guests were st... Read more

A great find 5 minutes' walk from Union Station: the amenities of a suite, a small kitchenette, efficiently, organized into a small space. There is no living room, but that isn't a big problem if you don't plan to entertain.

I'm always surprised by how unreliable this property is. I stay quite often since it's an approved business hotel for company I work for and I travel often to Toronto. Though the location is great, and the rooms well appointed for the most part, service is generally unreliable. They added a loyalty program a few months back when new management took over. Since, they have no clue who returning clients are. When checking in again after several recent stays, you are a total stranger to them. ... Read more

Great bath products. Fridge, and stove in the room. Small balcony. Many different channels on tv. I was on 7th floor and did find the street noise a little loud.

I stayed in the hotel this past September during the World Cup of Hockey. My friend and I booked this hotel through Priceline, and were expecting 2 queen or double beds. Unfortunately, the hotel only has 1 bed in any of their rooms, and would not provide a cot. Hotel only has queen beds to offer their guests. I was surprised when I checked in that the hotel has a 6% amenity charge, which supposedly covers wifi, gym, etc. If a hotel advertises that wifi is included, as this one does, it should not end up charging for it through another channel. I did not check out the gym, but I would be surprised if it justifies an extra charge. Although this is presented as a 'suites hotel', the rooms - which include a small kitchen - are not that large. Fantastic location just off Younger St. You are within 10 min walk to anywhere you want to go in the city. The suites are clean and spacious, fridge and laundry in room. Very nice bathroom and we had a balcony. 2 downsides... 1. Hard bed (I loved it, my wife hated it) 2. Street noise, lots of emergency vehicle noise but I believe that's a function of both the city and a major intersection being closed during our stay.
